Chapter 12
I DO NOT OWN GRAVITY FALLS
(Dippers POV)
The hood is pulled from my face and I'm un-gagged. In the brief second before a fist hits my lower jaw, I see a dark room with cold, stone walls. Preston Northwest takes a step back. He isn't wearing his suit jacket and the sleeves of his oil smeared shirt were rolled up around his shoulders. His hear is messy and uncept. I tried to lunge forward but my wrists were handcuffed to a pipe that ran up the length of the wall behind me. I manage to slide the chains up the pipe and stand up. Preston stands just out of my reach, smirking. "Well boy. Chained up and unable to do anything. This is just the cage a filthy rat like you deserves. Have anything to say?"
I mumbled something with my head facing the floor. Preston leaned in. "What boy?"
I mumble again. He takes a step closer and leaned in. "Speak up."
I throw my head up and the back of my head connects with his nose with a crack. "Go to hell."
Preston lurched backwards clutching his nose. He pulls out a white handkerchief and clutches it to his nose as it slowly turns red. He wipes his nose again and throws it to the ground. "You punk. You think this changes anything. You are so wrong. There is nothing you can do. At this very moment, my people are turning this town upside down. They will find my daughter and she will be punished justly. But you, you're going to witness a punishment worse than death."
"Screw you. You'll never find Pacifica."
"Do you know where she is?"
"I'll never tell."
"Not now you won't, but you will." Preston reached for a sharp blade and pulled it to the minimal light. "Soon, I'll know exactly where my daughter is hiding."
"This can't be legal."
"I'm rich, the laws don't apply to me." Preston pushed the door to the room closed. "Let's see if we can loosen that tounge of yours."
