Date: November 5, 1993

Shayne's POV

So, the past three months have been.......really hectic After Michael got out of the hospital, Julie decided to cancel the rest of the tour Me and Elizabeth convinced Michael into going to rehab and that's where he's been since the middle of September

That's all changing, though, because he's coming home to Neverland today I was waiting for him to get back when the phone rang

Shayne: Hello.?

Elizabeth: Hi sweetie

Shayne: Hey Lizzy

Elizabeth: Is he there yet.?

Shayne: No Jerry called a while ago and said that they'd be here soon

Elizabeth: Oh OK I was just calling to see Im sorry I couldn't be there

Shayne: It's fine You've been putting off that commercial shoot for months He'll understand

Elizabeth: Yes......Well, after he gets home and gets settled in, you tell him to call me, OK.?

Shayne: Will do

(All of a sudden, I heard a car outside. I walked to the window and saw the truck.)

Shayne: Lizzy, they're here.!!!

Elizabeth: Alright darling Talk to you later

Shayne: Alright Bye

Elizabeth: Bye bye

(I hung up the phone and I heard the door open. I walked out of the kitchen and there he was, standing in the living room.)

Michael:(Smiles) Shayne.!

(I don't know what came over me but I started crying. I ran to him and jumped in his arms, hugging him. He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tighter.)

Michael:(Whisper) Why are you crying, baby girl.?

Shayne:(Whispers) I missed you so much

Michael: I missed you too

(He set me down but he kept his arms around me. I looked him over. His face had filled out a little but it was still kinda thin. His eyes had that familiar sparkle in them. I haven't seen that sparkle since June.)

Michael: What, what's wrong.?

Shayne:(Smiles) Your eyes..... The sparkle's back

(He smiled widely.)

Michael: What can I say.? I feel a lot better

Shayne: That's great

(I sighed and grabbed his hands.)

Shayne: You must be hungry from that long flight from Switzerland

Michael: You know it.!

(We walked into the kitchen and saw that George was already preparing something. He hugged George and we sat at the table.)

Shayne: So,... tell me about the facility I wanna know what happened

Michael:(Smiles) Well, when I first got there, I was scared because of course, I had never been anywhere like that but by the next week, I felt as though they were my family

Shayne: That's good What did they teach you.?

Michael: Everyone had a therapy session at least 3 times a week so my therapist helped me to see that this is not the end of the world, You know.? He told me to think about the positives and to be thankful for the people that are on my side and that love me

Shayne: Sounds like this therapist was pretty smart

Michael:(Laughs) Yeah He's a good guy

(George brought us the food and we dug in)

Michael: So, what have you been up to.?

Shayne: Nothing much Just been here, holding down the fort, with Julie

Michael: You've been here every since you guys dropped me off.?

Shayne: Yeah I figured you would want me here and besides,...... I felt closer to you by staying here

(Michael reached across the table and grabbed my hand. He held it and rubbed his thumb over the back of it.)

Michael: Shayne, I'm sorry

(I tried to say something but he held up his other hand.)

Michael: No, let me speak I'm sorry for being so selfish and not thinking about how this was affecting you, or Julie, or Lizzy I was dumb and I apologize

Shayne: Michael, I understand and I forgive you...... but I do think you owe Julie a special apology

Michael:(Nods) I know and I'll do that as soon as possible Matter of fact, where is she.?

Shayne: She went to Vegas Said she needed to "blow off some steam"

(He laughed.)

Shayne: She'll be back next week

Michael: Oh ok

(We finished our food and put the plates in the sink.)

Michael: You wanna go for a walk with me.?

Shayne:(Smiles) Sure

(He grabbed my hand and we walked out of the house. We started to walk on the stone path that would lead us to the pasture.)

Michael: How have you been handling everything.?

Shayne: Most of the time, I just wanna kill Evan Chandler He's really trying to ruin your life

Michael: I feel sorry for Jordan, the fact that his father is so evil

Shayne: Yeah I guess

(We continued to walk until we reached the pasture. We sat down and started talking again.)

Michael: Shay, can I ask you something.?

Shayne: Anything

Michael: Will you move back here..... to Neverland.?

(My eyes widened. I sighed and put my hand on his leg)

Shayne: Michael, my life is in London now

Michael: I know but I just feel better with you around and plus..... I've missed you I don't like having to talk to you through a phone

Shayne: I don't either Mike but.... I just don't know

(He put his head down and nodded. I scoffed and lifted his head back up.)

Shayne: But then again, living here with you isn't so bad either

(His face brightened up and he hugged me tightly. I was surprised so I fell onto my back.)

Michael: I'm sorry Are you alright.?

Shayne:(Laughing) I'm fine Your a little excited, huh.?

Michael:(Blushes) A little

(We laughed and Michael looked into my eyes. He smiled slightly and leaned down. My heart started to beat faster as he kissed me softly. He pulled away and looked at me for a reaction.

I put my hand on his neck and pulled back down, kissing him passionately. He seemed surprised but he kissed back. We made out for what seemed like forever when he pulled away.)

Shayne:(Gasping) What's wrong.?

Michael:(Out of breath) We can't do this Shayne

Shayne: But I want to

Michael: Trust me, I do too but we have to take this slow I want you to be absolutely sure because once I have you again,......I'm never letting go

(I smiled and blushed. I put my hand on his cheek.)

Shayne: You promise.?

Michael: Of course

(He leaned down and kissed me again. We spent the rest of the day in the pasture, cuddling.)
