Shayne's POV

I just landed in Hartford and now, Im looking around for my family but I can't find them For it to be Christmas Eve, the airport is relatively empty So I don't understand why it's so difficult for me to find them I sit down on a bench because my feet are starting to hurt like hell All of a sudden, I hear my name

Christopher: Auntie Shay!!

(I smiled and stood up. He ran to me and hugged me tight. Scarlet and David walked up a few seconds later.)

Shayne: Hey little man How are you?

Christopher: Good I missed you auntie

Shayne:(Smiles) I missed you too honey

Scarlet: Hey Morgan

Shayne: Hey Micah

(She hugged me gently. I looked at David.)

David: Damn, you and Mike sure didn't waste any time, ya'll?

Shayne:(Laughs) Shut up and give me a hug

(He hugged me strongly. He grabbed my bag and we walked out of the airport and to their car. The whole ride to my parents house, we just caught up with each other. When we pulled up in the driveway, I saw a car that I didn't recognize.)

Shayne: Hey, who's car?

Scarlet: Um, you'll see when we get in the house

(Um, ok? We got out of the car and walked into the house. The smell of turkey and ham filled my nose. I walked into the kitchen and saw my mom and Sage at the stove. I also saw a guy that I had never seen before sitting at the counter.)

Miranda: Shayne!!

(She ran over to me and hugged me. She pulled away and kissed my belly.)

Miranda: How was your flight? Are you alright?

Shayne:(Laughs) Yes mommy Im fine

Sage: I missed you Shay

Shayne: I missed you more munchkin

(I hugged her and she rubbed my belly.)

Sage: How's my nephew doing?

Shayne: He's good

Sage: How much longer?

Shayne: 12 more weeks

(I had noticed the guy had gotten up and was smiling at me.)

Shayne: Um, who is this?

Sage:(Looks at him) Come here

(He walked over and stood next to Sage. She put her arm around his waist.)

Sage: Shay, this is Rayan......My boyfriend Rayan, this is my other big sister, Shayne

(My mouth dropped into an "O" shape.)

Rayan: Its nice to finally meet you Ive heard so much about you

Shayne: Its nice to meet you too

(My dad walked into the kitchen.)

Shawn: There's my beautiful little pregnant daughter

(He hugged me and kissed my forehead.)

Shayne:(Smiles) Hi daddy

Shawn: How's my linebacker?

Shayne: Daddy, the way this little boy moves, I think he's gonna take after Michael

Shawn: Well, we'll just have to change his mind, huh?

Christopher: Where's Uncle Michael?

Shayne: He has to work sweetie

Christopher: Aww I like when he visits with you We sing Temptation's' songs together

(We all laughed. Michael and Christopher did have a great bond, they always have.)

Miranda: Oh, speaking of Michael, he called about an hour ago He left the number of the hotel he's at so that you can call him back

(She handed me a piece of paper with a number on it.)

Shayne:(Nods) Ok thanks Im gonna go unpack

(David had already put my bag in my room so when I got there, I just opened it up and started to unpack. When I was finished, I laid down on my bed and picked up the phone. I dialed the number that was on the piece of paper. It rung twice before someone picked up.)

Michael: Hello?

Shayne: Hey applehead

Michael:(Giggles) Hey baby How was your flight?

Shayne: It was fine What are you doing?

Michael: Getting ready for rehearsal in a little while What about you?

Shayne: Nothing, I just finished unpacking...Oh, guess what?

Michael: What?

Shayne: Sage has a boyfriend

Michael: Sage? Little Sage? The "Love is so over rated" Sage?

Shayne: Yep, that one

Michael: Wow, what's his name?

Shayne: Rayan He seems like a really sweet guy though

Michael: See, that shows you that love has the power to touch anyone

Shayne: Yeah, you're right

(We continued to talk for about 10 more minutes.)

Michael: Hey I gotta go

Shayne:(Pouts) Aww ok Have a good rehearsal babe

Michael: Thanks I'll call you later tonight or tomorrow I love you

Shayne: I love you too Bye

Michael: Bye

(We hung up the phone and just as I put the phone back on the hook, I heard Scarlet call my name.)

Scarlet: Shay! Dinner time!

Shayne: Coming!

(I walked down the stairs and into the dinning room. I sat down next to David.)

Shawn: Everybody, join hands

(I grabbed David and my mom's hand. We all bowed our heads.)

Shawn: Lord, we thank you for this meal we are about to receive We are so thankful for yet another holiday season We ask that you bless all of the members of our family, especially the newest little member of our family that will be here soon In Jesus name, amen

Everybody: Amen

(We let go of each other's hands and started to pass the food around. After everyone had their food, we started to talk about random things.)

David: So Rayan, where are you from, how did you meet my little sister, and what are you in school for?

Rayan: Uh, Im from New York, Im in school for journalism and I met Sage in our creative writing class

Sage: We had to be partners for this project and we started to spend a lot of time together and thats how this happened

Scarlett: Shay, have you and Mike figured out any names for the little one?

Shayne: Not really All we know is that we want something different, you know?

Rayan: Shayne, if you don't mind my asking, what's it like being married to Michael Jackson?

Shayne: It's really like any other marriage or any other relationship, for that matter

Rayan: You don't mind having all that attention on you or being called "Mrs. Wacko Jacko"?

(Everyone, including me, looked at him. If you know me, you'd know that I absolutely HATE the term "Wacko Jacko". Its complete and utter bullshit to me. Now, I didn't mind Rayan asking me about Michael. I actually like to clear up any misconceptions people might have about him but he's gone entirely too far for my liking.)

Miranda: Shay, calm down

David: Yeah, he didn't know

Rayan:(Wide eyed) What'd I do?

Shayne: If you must know, I hate the name "Wacko Jacko" and if you wanna be apart of this family someday, I suggest you never say that damn name again

(Everyone looked at me.)

Rayan: Im sorry I didn't know I offended you

(I shook my head and looked down at my plate, playing with my food. Everyone started to eat their food again and there was an awkward silence.)

Shayne:(Sighs) You know, Im not hungry anymore Excuse me

(I got up and walked back upstairs. I went into my room and laid on the bed. I do feel kinda bad about how I snapped on Rayan. I mean, he didn't know but it still irritated me just the same. I wanted to call Michael and complain but it was only 7:47 and I knew he was still probably at rehearsal. I grabbed my pillow and closed my eyes, drifting off to sleep.)

Ok, so once I started writing again, I couldn't get enough so here's the next chapter! Lol but I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and don't forget to comment, vote and fan!!
