Date: September 3, 1996

Shayne's POV

So, me and Michael have been busy planning the wedding, which is on September 5 Basically, Im getting married in two days and Im not ready......AT ALL

Right now, Im waiting for my family to fly in Me, my mom, and my sisters are supposed to be (hopefully) finding my dress today so we'll see what happens

Michael: Shay.?

Shayne:(Looks up) Yeah.?

Michael: Are you alright.?

Shayne: Im fine Why do you ask.?

Michael: Cause you've bitten your fingernails down to nubs

(I took my finger out of my mouth and saw that he was right. I sighed and leaned back on the couch.)

Shayne: Im just worried about if this is all gonna work out

Michael: And I keep telling you that itll all be fine

(He sat next to me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder.)

Michael: All you have to worry about is finding a dress Ive taken care of everything else

Shayne:(Sighs) Your right Maybe Im stressing because its such short notice

Michael: Everything's gonna be fine and in 3 days time, youll be Mrs. Michael Joseph Jackson

Shayne:(Smiles) I like the sound of that

(We laughed. All of a sudden, I felt something creeping up my throat.)

Michael: Shay, you feeling ok.?

(I jumped up and ran to the bathroom. I got on my knees and threw up into the toilet. I felt Michael come behind me and hold my hair.

After I thought I was finished, I flushed the toilet and stood up. Michael had his arm around my waist just in case.)

Michael: You alright.?

Shayne: Yeah I dont know what happened

Michael: Maybe you shouldnt go dress shopping today

Shayne:(Chuckles) I honestly dont have a choice, seeing that the wedding is in 2 days

Michael: But you need to take care of yourself

Shayne: Im fine babe.! I'll just take some medicine

Michael:(Unsure) Alright

(Just then, the doorbell rung.)

Shayne: Oh, thats probably my family

Michael: Want me to get it.?

Shayne:(Nods) Yeah I'll be out in a minute

(Michael kissed my cheek and left out of the bathroom. I went over to the sink and brushed my teeth. After that, I wiped my face with a cold towel. I dried off and walked out of the bathroom.

I walked into the living room where everyone was. My mom, dad, Sage, Scarlett, David, and their son Christopher were there.)

Shayne: Hi everyone

Miranda: Shayne.!

(She jumped up and hugged me tightly. I laughed and hugged back.)

Miranda:(Pulls away) How are you.?

Shayne:(Sighs) Stressing

Miranda: Well, now that we're here, you don't have to worry about anything, OK.?

Shayne: Thank you mommy

(I pulled away from my mom and looked at Sage.)

Shayne: No hug for your big sister.?

Sage: Of course

(She hugged me. I pulled away and looked at her. It's hard to believe that she's 20 now.)

Shayne: How's school.?

Sage: School's......... school

(She rolled her eyes and we laughed.)

David: Hey Shay

(He hugged me and kissed my forehead. We pulled away and I hugged Scarlett.)

Scarlett: You alright, Shay.?

Shayne: I'm fine, just been stressing about the wedding

David: Don't worry Your gonna look beautiful

Shawn: She sure is

Shayne: Hi daddy

(I hugged him tightly. All of a sudden, I felt someone tap my leg.)

Christopher: No hug for me, Auntie Shay.?

Shayne: I'm sorry honey

(I bent down and hugged him.)

Shayne: How are you.? Have you been good in school.?

Christopher: Yep.! I get gold stars everyday.!

Shayne:(Laughs) Good job baby

(I straightened up and sighed.)

Shayne: Alright We should get going if we're gonna find me a dress

Miranda: Alright We're taking your car.?

Shayne: Yeah I got a new one It's the range rover in the garage

Sage: Can I drive.?

Shayne:(Scoffs) In your dreams Now, go

Sage:(Groans) Fine

(She stomped out to the garage and my mom and Scarlett followed behind her laughing.)

Michael: You guys mind helping me with some last minute details.?

Shawn: Of course not

David: We'll just go get settled and be back down in a few

Michael: Alright Same rooms as last time

Shawn: Gotcha

(My dad, David, and Chris grabbed the bags and walked up the stairs. I sighed and ran my hand through my hair.)

Shayne: I guess I better go I'll see you when we get back

(I was about to walk away when Michael grabbed my arm and pulled me into him. He kissed me passionately for about a minute.)

Shayne: What was that for.?

Michael: To calm your ass down Your stressing too much about all of this Just let it all happen, OK.?

Shayne:(Smiles) Alright but I think I need one more kiss, just to make sure Im good

(He shook his head and kissed me again. I pulled away and smiled.)

Shayne: Bye Michael I love you

Michael: I love you too

(I walked out of the house and got into the car. I pulled out of the gates and onto the freeway. After about 20 minutes, I pulled into the parking lot of the dress shop, Magical Moments.

We got out and walked into the store. Luckily, there weren't any paparazzi outside. They also shut down the store for us so that I could shop in peace.)

Kacie: Hi You must be Shayne

Shayne:(Smiles) Yeah and you are.?

Kacie: I'm Kacie I'll be helping you today

Shayne: Oh ok

(We walked into the back of the store, where the dresses were.)

Shayne: Oh Kacie This is my mom, Miranda and my sisters Sage and Scarlett

Kacie: Nice to meet you guys

(They all said hi)

Kacie: So, do you have any idea what you want.?

Shayne: I would prefer for it to be sleeveless and I want it to have lace on it

Kacie: Well, that leaves you a lot of choices

(She led us over to the racks.)

Kacie: Why don't you all pick out one dress and we'll have Shayne try them on.?

Shayne:(Nods) Alright 

(We all picked out a dress and I walked into the dressing room. Kacie helped me into the first dress, which was a mermaid dress with lots of ruffles. Kacie zipped it up and I walked out of the dressing room.)

Miranda: That looks beautiful on you Shay

Sage: I like the ruffles

Scarlett: It looks great on your body shape

(I tilted my head to the side and looked in the mirror.)

Kacie: Shayne.? What do you think.?

Shayne:(Sighs) Not this one

Kacie: Alright Well, let's try again

Two hours later

I was sitting on the floor of the dressing room, crying my eyes out I've tried on at least 15 dresses and I haven't found the right one yet I don't think I can handle this

Miranda:(Holding me) Shay, it's alright Stop crying

Shayne: What if I don't find a dress.? What am I supposed to get married in.? My underwear.?

Sage: Michael would probably like that

(I looked up and glared at her. Scarlett pinched her arm.)

Sage: Oww.! What was that for.?

Scarlett: For being insensitive

Sage: What.?! He probably would

Scarlett: Of course he would but that's not the main issue right now

Shayne: Ok Y'all are not helping right now

Sage&Scarlett: Sorry

Miranda: Listen to me, Shay Everything is going to work out fine The most important thing is that you are marrying the man of your dreams Someone who loves you very much

(I took a deep breath and wiped my face.)

Shayne: Your right mommy (Sighs) Alright Let's try on some more dresses

(I stood up and dusted myself off. All of a sudden, Kacie ran in carrying a dress.)

Kacie: Shayne, I think I might have found your dress

(She hung it on a hook and took it out of the dress bag. It was a sleeveless dress, it had lots of lace and tulle, and a decent length train.)

Shayne: Oh my....... Its gorgeous

Scarlett: It's exactly what you were looking for

Miranda: Wanna try it on.?

Shayne:(Shakes head excitedly) Yeah

(My mom and sisters walked out of the dressing room and Kacie helped me into the dress. I looked in the mirror and my jaw dropped.)

Kacie: Do you like it.?

Shayne: I love it.!

Kacie: Come on Let's go show your family

(She held up the train and we walked out of the dressing room. I stood on the platform in front of my mom and sisters.)

Shayne: What do you guys think.?

Miranda:(Tears up) I love it It looks beautiful on you

Shayne:(Laughs) Don't cry mommy

Sage: You should get it

Scarlett: Yeah This is definitely the one

Kacie: Shayne, do you wanna try on the veil.?

(I nodded and she went to go get it. She came back a few minutes later and put it in my hair. She flared it out and looked in the mirror.)

Shayne: Yeah, this is definitely my dress.!

(Everyone cheered and I laughed.)

Kacie: I'll help you change and then, I'll box up the dress for you

Shayne:(Nods) Ok

(I went back in the dressing room and changed back into my clothes. Kacie boxed up my dress and veil and we left. Now that I have my dress, all I have to focus on is marrying the love of my life.!)

Sorry it took so long for me to update but I've been going through a lot lately. My friend was shot and killed Wensday and I've been having a hard time because I was talking to him earlier that day. I probably won't be updating until late next week or the week after that. But I hope you have enjoyed this chapter and please don't forget to vote, comment, and fan.!!
