The next day in Science Class....

The next day Flukey was in Science Class and taking notes or rather taking notes as best he could since, to his dismay, Ryan and his buddies were in the class and Elise were there too and instead of listening to the teacher, they decided to mess with Flukey as he silently sighed to himself. 

Then the teacher spoke up. 

Science Teacher: Ryan! Could you, Elise, and your little cronies please stop messing with Flukey. Unlike you, he wants to learn. 

Ryan simply smacked his lips as he stopped but then the teacher said something that caught everyone off guard before he continued.

Science Teacher: Maybe if you actually took notes and studied instead of taking someone else's girlfriend you might actually be passing in my class. 

There was some small laughs around the classroom from hearing that and it did emit a small smile from Flukey at Ryan being called out for what he did. 

Ryan stayed silent out of embarrassment and class was able to resume in peace and then eventually the time came for dissection and the class was instructed to dissect....squid. 

This was surprising and a little unnerving to a lot of the students but Flukey was cool with it since he liked marine life. 

Not only that but everyone had partners and Flukey's.....was Tanya Barnes, a peer that also has some popularity on her though not compared to Ryan and Elise, not that she cared. Nor did she care about being popular at all.

Flukey and Tanya never really interacted with each other but they also didn't have any animosity with each other and out of politeness, Flukey decided to introduce himself to her. 

Flukey :Uh hey. I'm Flukey Thunder *Holds hand out for a handshake* It's nice to meet you. 

Flukey couldn't help but blush a little since he found Tanya to be really cute and Tanya, being a sharp girl, easily noticed the source behind his blushing as she giggled. 

Tanya: My such a gentleman~. *Takes his hand and shakes it* My name is Tanya Barnes, and I know all about you Flukey~. 

Flukey: Because of Elise dumping and leaving me for Ryan. 

Tanya: Pretty much yeah. You've probably heard this question already but how are you holding up? 

Flukey: It's alright. I'm doing a lot better than I did in the beginning. Course it still hurts cause you know it's still recent. 

Tanya: Yeah I can believe that. So....we have to dissect squids. To be honest, I didn't think we'd have to dissect squid or anything for that matter....

Flukey noticed Tanya's uneasiness about the concept.

Flukey: I take it you're not a fan of dissection or marine life? 

Tanya: Not really. You?

Flukey: I'm not big into dissection either but I do like marine life. If you want, I can handle the dissecting. 

Tanya: Really? Oh thanks Flukey. But I'm not gonna let you do all the work. I'll fill out the worksheet as we go. 

Flukey: Alright then. 

With that, Flukey and Tanya got to work on their assignment. 

Flukey handled the dissecting and Tanya wrote down what the answers on the questions of the worksheet, making a highly compatible duo out of of each other. 

Meanwhile Ryan and Elise were not having the best time. 

Neither wanted to dissect a squid but in order to pass the assignment one of them had to and Elise made Ryan do it, much to his displeasure. 

Ryan: Gah, this is so disgusting. How the hell do scientists and marine biologists enjoy this shit.

Elise: Just shut up and keep dissecting the damn thing. 

Ryan: Grr. 

As he kept dissecting, Elise couldn't help but look at Flukey and Tanya working together. 

Sure she fulfilled her desire of committing Netorare against Flukey with his bully and getting his family involved but nothing beneficial came of it. 

Ever since people found out about what Elise and Ryan did, almost everyone shunned them for what they did but they don't know the full details about all that transpired. 

All they know is that Elise cheated on Ryan and left Flukey in his despair.

And if cheating alone is enough to make people resent you, just imagine what would happen if people found out that Ryan slept with Flukey's mother and sister and Elise helped him. 

Admittedly the thing that Elise doesn't understand is why hasn't Flukey told anyone but she just surmised that he doesn't want to labeled as the guy that lost his girlfriend and family to the guy that's bullied him since the beginning of school. 

And now seeing him being all chummy with another girl....made her feel some type of way.

But what could she do? 

She and Flukey weren't together anymore so she had no control over his life like she did before. 

All she could do....was watch....for now. 

After school....

After science class was over, the school day had come to an end and Flukey was on his way to leave until he was stopped by Tanya. 

Tanya: Hey Flukey. Sorry to stop you like this but I wanted to thank you again for helping me out with dissection today. 

Flukey: Oh it's no problem at all. I'm always happy to help out my peers. 

Tanya: Yeah. Hey, if you don't mind can we exchange contact info? You seem like a pretty cool guy to hang out with and I could use some reliable and trustworthy friends in this school. 

This surprised Flukey but he didn't mind it. 

Flukey: Alright then. 

Flukey and Tanya exchanged contact info and then went their separate ways. 

All the while Tanya had a lot on her mind, specifically about Flukey.

Tanya: (Flukey may be putting on a brave face and slowly putting himself back together but I know the poor guy can't do it alone. He could really use a friend and I've seen what a broken heart does to people, especially the good-natured ones. Plus and this may just be my imagination....but I feel like there's a lot more to Flukey's broken heart than on the surface)
