Eighteen

I hurry back to the village. It's nearly sunrise. I had to get home before I stir up more trouble.

"Where were you?" A voice says behind me.

I turn. I see Aonung. 

"Nowhere." I lie.

Aonung walks forward.

"I saw you walk out of the village and onto your banshee." He said.

"I was going on a night fly. It helps clear what little head I still have." I say.

He smirked at me. He went into the water. He called for something. I see a long-necked animal that had fins, lots of fins. It had a red face and the long stems like banshee. I guess this is the equivalent. He matches his bond. 

"C'mon." He said.

I look at him confused. He offers me his hand. 

"I want to show you something." He said. 

I smile at him. I take his hand with my nicer one. He grabs my more corpse like hand. He smiles at it.

"You look good for the undead." He said. 

I climb on.

"You might want to hold on." He said.

We shot into the water. It's completely different from the sky. The water was more rapid around your skin. There was more current like wind. I grip his chest to make sure I don't hurdle off. We jump into the air. I've never had a better ride. I lean my face into his back
