Platform 9 3/4

"This is it Nesta." Eris said as he and Nesta made their way to the train station. It was busy this time of day so a lot of people were running around, trying to het to their stop. Nesta looked at the train as she tried her best to push the cart filled with her school supplies. "Eris, is this the train?" she asked. Lucky meowed with confusion/ Eris shook his head. "No, your train is different."

"Where's is it?" Nesta asked again as Eris inhaled sharply and looked off to the side. "Nesta, you and I had a fun time together, but I'm afraid that this is where I have to leave you." Nesta's heart began to crack. Leave? But she just met him. How could he just leave?

Nesta turned back to him. "You can't leave yet. I don't know how to find the train." Nesta protested as Eris grabbed something in his back pocket. "I'm the eldest son of the High Lord of the Autumn Court. I have to attend a lot of meetings today."

"But I can't do this without you." Nesta replied, feeling some tears threating to fall down.

Eris, resisting the urge to cry as well, knelt down to her level. "Nesta, I know you're scared, but if you don't do this on your own, you'll be relying on me to do it for you. You wanna be able to do this yourself right?" Nesta rubbed her eyes and nodded her head. "Then this is the first step to doing things on your own. You can do this Nesta. I know you can." Eris finished his little speech for the young girl, making her smile a bit. "There we go, there's that smile." Eris said, gently squishing Nesta's face in his index finger and thumb. Nesta giggled, pushing his hand away from her face. "Eris, enough."

"Okay okay, I'll stop. I have only lasting gift to you before I leave." Eris handed Nesta a golden ticket. It had a train in the background and it read: 'Platform 9 3/4′. Nesta frowned. "Eris, it says 9 3/4. There's no such thing as-" Nesta stopped mid sentence of her thought because when she looked up, Eris was gone.

Nesta gasped. "Where did he-?" Nesta looked all around the station to see if she could find any trace of where Eris had gone to, but to no avail. Lucky meowed and pointed her paw toward Platform 9. Nesta sighed. "You're right girl. If we miss the train, we won't make it to Hogwarts. Let's go." Nesta claimed, grabbing the grip of the cart and began to push it down the ramp.

As Nesta walked by, she tried not to notice the judging eyes that followed her. A girl walking around while dragging a huge cart full of magic equipment that no one recognized in the middle of a train station. Yeah, she'd be a little bit curious too. Nesta looked at the golden ticket again. She groaned in frustration. "9 3/4. Where is it?"

"Watch it!" Nesta turned to the sound of the voice. It came from a middle aged woman with four girls trailing behind her. The girls were two sets of twins. The taller ones looked to be about 12 to 13 years old. They were completely identical. The younger twins were about Nesta's age, but they had some noticeable differences. All four girls were pushing the same carts as she did. The woman that was with the girls rolled her eyes. "Ugh, I swear it's always the same with these muggles."

Nesta paused. She knew that word. Eris explained to her that 'muggle' meant people who didn't have magic in their veins. Magic is also not genetic. Anyone can have magic. Though, the muggle world has no idea what that word means. Which also means that whoever this woman is, she's going to the same place she is.

Lucky meowed and began to follow them, Nesta trailing behind her with her cart. When they stopped, they were all in front of a pillar with the numbers 9 and 10 on each side. The woman looked at the older twins. "Alright Nuala, you go first." The girl named Nuala looked at the woman (who Nesta realized was her mother) and facepalmed. "Mom, she's not Nuala I am."

"Honestly woman you call yourself our mother." the other twin replied. The mother looked at them apologetically. "Oh, sorry Cerridwen. Come on now." Cerridwen, the other twin rolled up to her mother with her cart and smirked. "I'm only joking mom. It's me, Nuala." the real Nuala replied before running through the pillar along with her twin who was the real Cerridwen.

Nesta rubbed her eyes. Did they really just do that? Nesta slowly creeped up behind the woman. "Um, excuse me?" she asked softly as the woman turned to her. She smiled at her. "Yes, dear?"

"Can you tell me...um..." Nesta shyly pointed to the pillar. The woman nodded. "Of course dear. All you have to do is run towards the pillar and it'll take you to the Platform 9 3/4." Nesta sighed in relief. "Don't fret, little one. It's Gwyn and Catrin's first time as well." Nesta looked behind her and saw the younger twins. Up close, she noticed the differences. One of them had black hair with webbed fingers. The other had red hair with freckles on her face. The red head waved. "I'm Gwyn. This is Catrin." Gwyn introduced as Catrin waved as well. Catrin pushed her cart to the pillar next to Nesta, "I'll go first and show how it's done." Catrin offered as Nesta nodded in agreement.

Catrin gripped the handle of the cart and ran straight to the pillar like Cerridwen and Nuala. Just like them, Catrin disappeared through the pillar. Nesta inhaled a bit and steadied her shoulder. "Good luck." Gwyn said as Nesta smiled and ran through the pillar.

When Nesta reappeared she was standing near a brick wall. "Huh?" she asked herself as Lucky walked to the right of her. Nesta followed her and what came to her eyes shocked her.

It was a train. But it wasn't like the other trains. This train had the numbers '5927′ on the front. It was black and red with a hint of gold. It stood proudly, looking down on Nesta like a goddess. Nesta immediately knew what the train was before she even looked at its name. Before she could walk towards it, a man in a conductors uniform walked up to her and tipped his hat. "Greetings miss." he said with pride. "Welcome to the Hogwarts Express."
