The day of our arrival to Manisa has finally come. I couldn’t wait to leave to Manisa because after what happened to Murad and me I was scared for my life and lives of my children. I was afraid if anything bad would happen to us in Topkapi once again.

While I was getting ready to pack my things and make sure we took everything we should, someone knocked on my doors. Maids opened and Gazanfer Aga showed there. While Nurbanu was still in Manisa, he was her loyal servant.

"Neslihan Sultan, I would like to talk to you," Gazanfer bowed to me looking all the time ashamedly at the floor.

"You came to me when your beloved Nurbanu Sultan left to Egypt?" I ayksd him and he just took deep breath.

"Sultana, I... I beg for your forgivness, I want to leave to go to Manisa back. I don't want to stay in Topkapi," Gazanfer said and looked at me. I knew he had a reason he would come here, because he was really loyal to Nurbanu.

"So your loyality lasted this long?" I asked him and laughed at his words.

"Sultana, I am ready to do whatever is needed go gain your trust. I swear to you I will serve you and only you," Gazanfer said and went down on his knees to kiss my robe.

"Has Nurbanu ordered you to do this?" I asked him as I had zero trust in man who changes his loyality as the wind blows.

"I served Nurbanu Sultana because she has forced me to do some things for her... I had no one else to serve there," Gazanfer said and looked at me but I signalised to him to stand up.

"I will do whatever you wish Sultana but please help me. I swear to you with my life that I will be loyal only to you," Gazanfer said not stopping to beg me.

"Are you sure you would do anything?" I asked him.

"Hundred percent sure Sultana, I came here to give you very important news I heard in Harem," Gazanfer said.

"What are those?" I asked him.

"It is about who poisoned you and Şehzade Murad," Gazanfer said and took a letter he had in his kaftan and gave it to me.

"My brave lion, your mother is ready to do whatever is needed for your bright future. I did what was needed to make the throne ready for you. You, named after your great-grandfather will ascend the throne if God allows us one day. Wait for my news."

"This...?" I asked him as I couldn't believe what I have read.

"The great-grandfather would be, Sultan Bayezid," Gazanfer said to me and I knew that with this I could do excatly what was needed. But what I couldn't believe is that Hurrem would poison her own grandson.

I couldn't believe what I have read with my eyes. Hurrem would really do it? She would kill her grandson just in favour of her another son? What kind of heart this women has? Murad wasn't even my blood and I would never even think about that.

I signalised Gazanfer to leave my chambers and to leave me alone with Katya because I couldn't calm down until I do what is important. I won't leave to Manisa until I have very important conversation with Hurrem.

I went into her chambers as she lived in Valide Sultan chambers now and ruled the Harem. She sat on her throne proudly watching at everyone else and I bowed to her.

"Neslihan, what wind brought you here?" Hurrem said and raised her head so proudly. She was sitting with her loyal Kalfa Fahriye.

"I want to talk alone to you, Sultana," I said to her and signalised to Fahriye and everyone else in those chambers to leave alone.

They didn't want to do it, but Hurrem allowed them to leave the chambers leaving us two having alone conversation for the first time.

" What is this that was so important?" Hurrem asked coldly.

"Hurrem Sultan, you should not behave bad to me, because I have something that might destroy you in any moment," I said to her and raised my head.

"Don't make me laugh," Hurrem said and laughed at my words looking at another side.

"Then you obviously would want if I would show to Şehzade Selim, or even better to Sultan Suleyman about your plans of posioning Şehzade Murad and letting Bayezid on the Ottoman Throne?" I asked her with sarcastic smile.

"What?" Hurrem asked me confusedly and stood up in front of me.

"I will give it to Sultan if you don't give me what I want," I said to her and raised my head. I could see Hurrem is not feeling really good in this moment and that I have set her a trap she thought she would never get into.

"What do you want?" she asked me and looked at another side not even wanting to look at me.

"You will make me ruler of Şehzade Selim's harem, the duty you swore you would never give to me," I said to her and she looked at me without a word.

"You won't send any new concubines to Şehzade Selim or send them to us in Manisa," I said.

"And you will make sure Nurbanu never returns from Egypt," I said to her.

She looked at me without any word and she was pretty nervous. This wasn't Hurrem Sultana I knew. This was Hurrem which was all in fear of me.

"I will do it all, but then you will give me the letter," she said and raised her head.

"I will give you the letter when we leave the Palace tonight at night," I said, bowed to her and left her chambers.

At the evening when we were supposed to leave for Manisa I made sure to have everything perfectly ready. My kids were already prepared and they were with their maids who took care of them in the carriage, while I went to walk around the Harem for one last time.

I went to Sumbul Ağa who was waiting for me to give him the letter Hurrem was waiting for. Gazanfer was going with me because he helped me this time, and I knew I could easily turn him to be at my side.

I handed the letter to Sumbul who seemed happy about the situation, and from the Balcony of Harem, Hurrem was looking prouldy at me. I bowed to her faking her my respect, but what she didn't know was that I gave Sumbul empty letter, and that real letter stayed with me.
