A War was Brought
5 days have gone by since the group brought Zach into their world. They were training and discussing ways and plans to find Red, but so far... nothing. They had spent restless nights and all for what?
Anguirus was starting to suspect that Red was just taunting them but wouldn't actually do anything but continue to taunt, while Godzilla thought he was sending warnings and his attack would be soon.
Solomon thought otherwise... he had known Red since they were just kids, while yes, Red had done something like this years ago, but... something about it made him think... diffrent than the others.
{Zachary's POV}
We sat in the meeting area as we all discussed a plan. We all argued about to train or bring the fight to Red.
I sighed and looked towards Solomon who was... asleep. I gestured to Godzilla about Solomon and as a response, he slammed the table making Solomon sit up.
"I'm up!" He yelled, confused by his surroundings,"Did you get any sleep at all?" Mothra asked, worried. Solomon sighed,"Not really... stupid nightmares keeping me up." Solomon said, rubbing his eyes.
I could sympathise with him, Red and his stupid mental powers have been keeping me up at night lately and I've gotten little sleep because of it.
"You should get some sleep, Sol. I won't allow you to continue until you are well rested." Godzilla said, motioning him to his room,"It's fine, I'm awake, I-"
"Solomon, get some rest." Godzilla repeated, more demanding. Solomon sighed and left to his room.
Godzilla sighed and Mothra smiled reassuringly. Mothra seemed to understand how to calm him down... I mean, she is his wife.
I looked to Acacius who was staring at his hands, he looked to be tense and worried. He seemed to be shaking and on the verge of tears.
"Acacius, are you okay?" I asked, catching his attention but startling him. He looked at me and sighed,"I'm fine, just... worried is all but I'm okay." Acacius answered.
Godzilla looked to him and back to Mothra who shrugged. Godzilla sighed,"We'll discuss this later... clearly none of us are in good circumstances at the moment." Godzilla said, waving his hand dismissively.
I'm not sure if he was dissapointed or if he was just tired by his tone of voice, but either way he's looking out for everyone.
I looked towards Melissa who comforted Acacius as he continued to shake. I sat next to him and patted his back for comfort,"Do you think... he'll succeed? What if... we're too late to stop him?" Acacius asked, worried and frightned,"Don't think like that! Look, we're gonna stop Red! You defeated him once, you can do it again!" I said, trying to sound confident.
It was easy to tell I wasn't confident in the slightest, I was just as worried and scared as the others but I tried to keep a smile on my face to keep spirits high.
"It is gonna be okay, we're still planning and Mothra and Solomon have made sure everyone is indoors during these times, we have nothing to worry about." Melissa said, smiling reassuringly.
I smiled, it always nice to know Melissa hasn't changed since the last time I met before she... nevermind, but she is still the positive and loveable Melissa I know and love.
"You gonna stop staring and get some rest, Zach?" Acacius asked, teasingly,"Shut up!" I said, punching his shouler playfully, making him chuckle. I walked back to my room and sat at the edge of the bed.
I sighed and sat back up to look at a mirror... only I didn't see myself... but Red.
"What do you want?" I asked. Red chuckled,"Do you really think there is a way to stop me?" Red asked, smiling.
I sighed and laid back on the bed, hoping he would take a hint and go away.
"You honestly think I can be stopped?" Red asked, teasingly. I tried to block out his voice with a pillow but that proved to be impossible to do.
"Aaawww, they really are desparate for help, who would ask a human of all things for help?" He asked, menacingly.
"Especially the kind of monsters?" He asked. I sat up, grabbed the heaviest object I could find, and threw it at the mirror, shattering it.
I sighed as I heard footsteps from outside,"Is everything okay!?" Mothra asked, worriedly. "It's fine." I answered. Not that she would believe it, I mean... I have a broken mirror.
She sighed,"It's Red, huh?" She asked. I nodded,"That little red piece of crap won't leave me alone." I said, rubbing my eyes.
Mothra sighed,"What did he say this time?" She asked. I chuckled,"He's doubting if we can defeat him." I said.
After a few minutes of talking, she left the room and shut the door. I looked towards the shards of glass scattered on the floor and sighed,"I'll have to clean that up soon." I thought, before sitting up.
I walked over to the shards of glass and stared at the small reflections.
I looked up at the window and stared at the horizon, the sun was out, the clouds were gone, it all seemed so peaceful.
I sighed, the view reminded me of home and how beautiful it was before I got here.
I looked back to the shards and... was shocked to see Melissa staring back at me... with the smile she used to give me back in middle school. A smile so warm and bright... it reassures you from the worst, but... a light came from behind her as a truck hit her.
I turned away before the truck could hit her. By this point, I wasn't tired... I was scared... scared of Red.
Red has power that is beyond our understanding, he proved himself to be powerful years ago... years have gone by since then and now... now...
Now he's stronger than before.
Is there a way to stop him...? Maybe this might be the day where we-
"No!" I thought to myself. There is a way! There has to be a way! Nothing is immortal! Everything has a weakness!
Right?
I sighed and decided to leave to the training room, it helps with stress and built up anger. I got dressed and set up a dummy.

{Solomon's POV}
"What are you staring at?" Anguirus asked. I jumped and quickly turned around,"Oh, hey, Ang." I said, sighing.
"Hey, uuuhh... what are you looking at?" He asked, motioning to a picture in my hand. I looked down and stared at it for a few second,"Nothing... just some old photos from when I was a kid." I explained. Ang chuckled,"I'm suprised you keep those, I was a dumb kid when I was younger." He said, making me chuckle,"Yeah, Acacius told me you were extremely chaotic.". Ang chuckled,"Still am." He said, smiling.
I smiled and looked down at the photo again,"So what's that photo of?" Anguirus asked. I looked up at him and handed him the photo,"You and Red were friends?" He asked, looking at me with confusion. I nodded,"We were... until he took down a diffrent path." I explained.
I remember being so upset by his action, but 8 years... I stood by his side and endured the endless pain and guilt because he was my friend, someone I thought I could turn to.
I guess that explains why he was so mad when I ran away one morning and... never came back. I was done with hurting innocent lives, we argued so much about it and sometimes wondered how we became friends.
With time comes change, sometimes the changes are unpleasant... it certainly was for Red, so one morning I just... ran away.
"Anguirus to Solomon, do you copy?" Anguirus said, waving his hand. I looked to him,"Yeah? Did you ask something?" I asked, trying to remember what he said,"No, you just seemed zoned out and I was confused." He explained,"Nah, just lost in thoughts." I said.
For a few minutes we talked about memories from our childhood, it was nice and we caught up on each others lives since... well, I don't really live here, so it makes it difficult to talk to each other.
"You two sounded really close as kids." Anguirus said, chuckling. I smiled,"Heh yeah... we were. I just hope not all hope is lost... maybe I can get my friend back." I said, but I knew there was no way of getting the old Red back... he's chosen this path and he most likely plans to continue to go down this path.
"Hey, don't cry... it's not your fault he's like this." Anguirus said, patting my shoulder. I hadn't realised I was crying. I wiped my tears and sighed,"I just want my friend back... is that so much to ask?" I asked. I knew the answer... I just hope there is a way.
CRASH
Anguirus and I looked up and ran to the training from where the sound came from.
We arrived and saw Melissa comforting Zach. He seemed shocked or scared, it wasn't clear what expression he was making but all I knew is... what happened wasn't good.
"What happened!?" Anguirus asked,"I-I don't know! I walked by and all of a sudden he broke the dummy but he seemed scared!" Melissa explained, paniced.
I looked to Zach who was shaking and walked up to him to comfort him,"Hey Zach, are you okay?" I asked, placing my hand on his shoulder. He flinched from the touch but soon relaxed... thsi reaction was normal but something was off.
"Was it Red?" I asked. Melissa held his hand for comfort but he just seem out of it,"Zach, talk to me... what happened?" Melissa asked, worried. Zach looked towards Melissa and hugged her,"I won't let him get to you... not again!" He said.
"Zach, nothing bad will happen, now explain what happened?" Melissa said. Her voice softend and she returned the hug, I was sorta shocked to notice Zach calmed down, he stopped shaking, and he seemed calm.
"Fire... that's all I saw for a minute, then darkness... then Melissa... dead." Zach explained, calm but frightned.
"He likes to taunt me with her death... as if my life wasn't already ruined after that." He said. "Zach, you can't let Red taunt you like this. He's only gonna keep using that against you to make you cower in fear." Anguirus explained.
Anguirus looked around and found something odd...
"Guys, where Mothra and Godzilla? They usually come when something bad happens, they should've been here a few minutes ago." Ang said. He's known those two since childhood... so if they were supposed to be here by now... then they should've been here by now.
We all froze when we heard Mothra scream and glass breaking. We all ran out of the room and ran to meeting room where we heard Mothra scream.
I felt my heart skip a beat from the scene before me.
Godzilla held Mothra who had a scratch across her stomach and a broken window.
"What happened?!" Anguirus asked,"I'll explain later, help me out!" Godzilla demanded. I ran to the medical room and grabbed some wrapping bandages. I ran back and saw Mothra was losing a lot of blood... and fast.
I quickly wrapped the bandages and sighed with relief when finished,"What happened?" Zach asked. "Red happened..." Godzilla answered, still holding Mothra.
I looked to Anguirus and saw he was not happy,"Enough! He has scared us enough! Let's just take the fight to him and face him ourselves! His plan is clearly to kill us off one by one, let's see how he can handle all of us!" Anguirus yelled in a fit of rage.
"Ang, we can't go now. Zach just got scared and Mothra was attacked, give the two rest." Melissa said.
"Fine, but as soon as they are healed, we take the fight to him! I'm done with this nonsense! Done!" Anguirus yelled, storming out of the room.
Godzilla sighed,"Fine... we'll go once they are healed." Godzilla said, picking up Mothra and walking out of the room.
I watched as Melissa and Zach left the room, once they had, I looked towards the broken window and the glass that was scattered across the room.
"I'm sorry... you've caused enough problems the last time you were here... I won't let you keep doing this." I thought, walking towards the window.
"Forgive me, old friend." I thought, staring at Red as he flew away.
This is beyond my power and as much as I don't want to...
This ends now.
Finally, I got this done! Not gonna lie, writing this book sorta relaxes me since I've beem so focused on SDF.
Welp, hope you've enjoyed reading this!
Stay tuned. :)
Taylor over and out.
