Jay 'Pov'

I am laying in bed thinking about what I just told Jaz, it was so embarrassing I told her I love her, what is she going to think about me that I'm a weirdo or something.

I look at my watch to see how late it is.

"Shit" I murmur under my breath.

'It's 2 in the morning and I still can't sleep, all I can think about is Jaz, how beautiful she is and how delicious she smells, she smells like strawberries and vanilla.'

And soon I drift off to sleep.

*The next morning*

The next morning I wake up around 11.

I brush my teeth and I take a shower.

I go downstairs and make a banana shake.

I go for a jog afterwards, but the whole day I feel like something's bothering me, my heart is aching this whole time but I don't know why so I just ignore it for the rest of the day.

Later that night I feel it getting worst so I think maybe it has something to do with the mate thing, that means there's something wrong with Jaz.

I get in my car and drive all the way to their house, when I get there the lights in the house are still on so I knock on the door, but there's no response.

I check the door, the door is open so I walk inside and walk upstairs to Jaz's room.

When I get there Jaz's in Zach's arms asleep, but it seems like she's been crying.

"Hey Zach I'm sorry for intruding but I knocked and there wasn't any response so I just came in, is everything okay with Jaz?"

"Yeah she just found out something, she just went to sleep, go downstairs I'll meet you there."

"Alright."

I go downstairs and wait in the living room for Zach to come down.

After a couple of minutes he walks downstairs, he seems kind of stressed out. (Stressed out....get it, the song....nope okay🎧))

"Hey, what's up?"

"Jaz is really not okay, it's that stupid girls' fault!" He sigh frustrated.

"Tell me what happened." I say holding my anger in.

"This Melissa girl told Jaz something that our mom told her and that is that our father is still alive and that means that she lied to us and it really got to her and I'm pissed." He says angrily.

He takes a couple of deep breaths and walk out the back door.

I follow him and catch up to him.

"I'm pissed too, but remember that Jasmine need you right now so don't go do nothing dumb." I tell him.

"Yeah you're right." He says calming down.

"By the way, what are you doing here so late, I didn't call you or anything right?" He says confused.

"No but I was feeling strange the whole entire day so I thought it had something to do with the mate bond." I tell him.

"Yeah alright......Wait what you're her mate?!"

"I guess so." I say smiling.

"Wauw."

"Yep wauw indeed, can I stay the night cause I don't feel like being too far away from her."

"Yeah sure." He says calm eyeing me.

"Okay, I'm going to sleep now, I'm really tired."

*The next morning*

I wake up and it is still early in the morning so Jaz hasn't woken up yet, I walk into the kitchen finding Punky and Zach sitting at the table eating breakfast.

"Good morning."

"Morning" They say at the same time.

"How'd you sleep?"

"Fine."

"Where's Jaz?"

"She's still sleeping."

We sit in silence till Jaz graces us with her presence, she looks at me confused, she still has tears on her face from yesterday or maybe she cried today too.

She walks to the fridge grab a vanilla frappuccino and comes to sit with us.

"Hey sis are you feeling better?" Zach asks.

"Yeah I'm fine only problem is what is Jay doing here?!"

"Uhmm I'll let you guys talk, come on Punky let's go upstairs."

They are gone before she can protest.

"So uhm Jaz did you think about the thing?!" I ask.

"Why are you here Jay?!"

"Actually I felt something in my chest yesterday and I could feel that there was something wrong with you, so I came over immediately, but when I got here yesterday you were already asleep so I stayed the night."

"Well as you can see, I'm fine."

"Yeah physically, but not emotionally."

"How'd you know?"

"I don't really know how this mate thing works but I think it has to do with how I can feel what you feel."

"Oww, well I think we should talk about this with someone who has more knowledge about this."

"Yeah."

"PUNKY."

"Yess."

"Come down, we need to talk to you."

"Coming."

She walks downstairs holding hands with Zach,  their hair are a mess so you can imagine what they were doing.

"Yess?"

"Can you help us with the mate thing?"

"Yeah sure, what do you want to know?"

"Well, kinda everything?!"

"Okay let's start with...., well you guys are mates, you can reject each other, but if you do you'll be heartbroken forever and you won't find love ever ever ever again and mates can feel when something's wrong with the other one and when you mate completely, like have sex and mark each other, you can mind link to, like talk to each other in your heads and you can read each other's mind or you can also block your mind link, if you don't want to hear the other or you don't want them to read your mind."

"Wauw." Me, Zach and Jay says at the same time.

"Yup."

"Okay, then that's it?"

"Yeah, most of it."

We hear the front door open and we all stand up waiting for an attack or something but what we saw was sure not an attack and hella not expected.
