~~NEPETA'S POV~~

I was absorbing the orange stuff. The bubbles with Alternian letters in in where getting close. I looked at it. It was a shining dark purple with green and blue electro lights popping in and out of it. I backed back "Absorb it" i looked at it "Will it hurt" I heard a deep chuckle "Only if you think it will" i was focusing on that one bubble that i had felt other ones touch my arm and legs. I absorbed them and a burst of light bursted in my face. I felt like i was being pulled back and a voice was calling my name. It wasn't my voice it was Dextin "Nepeta NEPETA WAKE UP" i jumped up "Hey are you okay you're sweating bullets" I was really hot like blazing hot "Hey" he touched my arm "OUCH,you feel like fire" he raised up my shirt with the balls of his fingers "Your mark is glowing" he got up and picked me up. He scrunched his shoulders,and smoke was coming from the parts of his body where my skin was touching him "I'm burning, you put me down" he walked out of the room with me and ran down stairs "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TW-" it was Karkat. Dextin was out the door before he could finish his sentence "Where's your friends house. Um Equius" I pointed in the direction his hive was "Seaon and Lex is their. Seaon can help you"

When we arrived Dextin busted in "Hey Seaon! SEAON" Seaon stumbled down the steps "W-what is it" he had his bed clothes on "Somethings going on with Nepeta" he ran over to the nearest seat and smoke started to rise from the leathery chair "Nepeta what happened" Equius ran over to me and grabbed my arms and snatched back "Nepeta what's wrong" i rubbed my head "Last night I was training my soul with the demon and i guess that orange stuff was fire or something" they looked at me confuse,but Seaon smiled "She's alright" he opened a book "Training your soul in your sleep is actually good. Your soul and aura gets excruciatingly large and you get stronger" I relaxed a bit "But if you did it any longer you may have started a fire" he chuckled "You're alright just don't get to into it,you can practice right now" he stood up "Oh and Asura wants us to come back today" i nodded "Who's Asura" i looked over at Equius "Oh he's the owner of the guild i work at, and the only on who can keep my mark in tact" he started sweating "You're,you're leaving" i looked at him sad like "I have to. I'm sorry" he smiled,shivered,and sweating all at once "Alright" I smiled "I'll visit when i can" he hugged me "Okay"

I left. I felt bad leaving him. Again. I want him to come so bad. I wonder "I don't know if he can Nepeta" i turned around "I know, i'm completely fine with it" he smiled "Alright gang, i'll get Lex and we'll leave" I sat down next to Dextin "Don't you want to tell Karkat bye" he put his hands behind his head and looked up "No,i didn't tell him bye last time" i flicked dust of the arm of the sofa "What's the difference" he put his arm around me and dragged me close to him "You know,he wanted you to be the only one at his-" before he could finish his sentence Karkat busted through the door "Oh geez" I giggled at Dextin's remark "What the HELL ARE YOU TWO DOING" Dextin turned away from Karkat "Nep just got a check up from Seaon. She's fine" Karkat growled and Dextin turned back around to him "Um, are you okay" Karkat clenched his fists "NO I'M NOT" Lex ran down the steps "JESUS christ. Bring it down a million notches. Please" she looked at dextin and me "Dextin go get you some" Dextin face palmed his self "Please stop" Lex giggled "Why's your arm around her" we turned back around at Karkat "Oh,was about to tell her a secret" Karkat grinned his teeth "I need to talk to Nepeta" I looked at Karkat confused. Dextin got up "Okay,but make it snappy. Asura wants to see you the most Nepeta he's having a meeting and he wants you. I'm not giving any spoilers so don't ask" i crossed my arms and smiled "You shouldn't know me this well" he laughed and went up stairs. Karkat plopped down beside me "Nepeta, please don't tell me you're going back there" I glared at him "Why do you care" his face dropped "Are you serious. You need to stay here" I stood up "Really, you want me stay now" he looked shocked "Did something go wrong while i was gone with you and Terezi, am i your fucking backup" whoa what just came out of my mouth "No,no no no. Its not like that" I put my hands on my hips "So something did go wrong. Wow, now if you just think about it for three seconds that's what it sounds like. I'm free to make my own decisions, and plus what difference would it make to you" I stared at him so hard I felt like my eyes where burning into his head "Look, something did go wrong. Terezi was already in a relationship with the Strider kid,but that doesn't mean that i'm not obligated to worry about you"  I looked down "It didn't seem you worried about me too much before you found out" I looked at him again. I could tell he was trying to hold back tears. I turned around "Maybe you'd have a better chance with her when they break up" I walked away and bumped into Equius. He was smiling. I laughed "You eavesdropper" and shoved him.

        ~~KARKAT'S POV~~
What just happened. Why couldn't I. Why couldn't I say anything. I got up and walked out of Equius's hive and bumped into someone. It was Kanaya "Karkat, you alright" I looked at her "Karkat why are you crying" i touched my cheeks and felt warm water "I assume you already tried to explain to her" she hugged me and rested my head on her chest "Come on i'll take you home" I didn't know what to do,except run to Kanaya
