~~NEPETA'S POV~~

I woke up tired and hazy. Memories flushed in my head like water running down a drain in a rain storm. I covered my eyes with my hands, my heart cringing. I felt lighter though, my weapon "Who took it off" i looked over. It was laying up against a red chair. None of my friends have red chairs in their room. I looked all around at the gray walls with posters hanging up. The room had a smell of popcorn and carbonated soda. It was Karkat's room "Great" i stood up wishing i would fall back out.

I was in a baggy shirt. My mouth felt dirty. I walked over to the door touching the door knob,but didn't open it. I heard something,foot steps, someone's coming up the stairs. I rushed back over to the bed and hopped in,and stayed completely still.

I heard someone open the door "Hey fuck ass can we talk" it was Karkat my heart was cringing so bad i thought it was gonna crush. "Hey you awake" i sat up crushing my tail, my ears where down, and my long hair was tangled. I rested my head on my knees and rapped my arms around my legs. He sat down on the bed and bent his head down to where he could see mine. His eyes widened "Whoa, you look different" i sat up with my eyes narrowed "I didn't really get to look at you last night because of how fast you where running" i really didn't want to talk to him "How was Zeutis" and he asks a question, great "It was fine" he leaned back "What happened to you cat slang" i was getting aggravated and fast "I got rid of it" his eyes narrowed "Why" i grinned my teeth "Because i didn't want it anymore" his pinched the baggy shirt I was wearing "Why are you wearing my shirt" my eyes widened and I laid my feet down looking at the shirt completely. It had his sign on it "I'll change it later" i said looking to the side and blushing "I'm sorry" I looked at him "I'm sorry for making you feel bad, and it actually turned out Terezi was in an relationship with Dave,so" She literally made him feel the way i do. When you think about it it's a little cycle of sadness and shes the only one who's happy "It's fine,just don't bring it up please" We heard a knock on the door "Hey Nep, I got you a to-go order from the dinner we went to" i smiled,it was Dextin. I got up and answered the door "Hey, how you sleep" he walked in and sat my food on the computer table Karkat had "Fine, thanks for the food" he smiled hard "Hey, Lex got you some clothes to put on,and she put cute games on your phone" we started talking totally forgetting about Karkat who was sitting on the bed. "So like i'm just gonna leave then" Karkat walked out of the room "Who was that" i rolled my eyes "I'll tell you if you piggy-back-ride me down the steps" he smiled "Challenge excepted"

~~KARKAT'S POV~~

Great, she has a boyfriend now. What did I think she's way more pretty than she was. My heart was cringing. I heard loud foot steps, and saw Nepeta on top of That dudes back that i saw. They ran down stairs.

I followed them. They where both on the floor laughing "What the hell are you two doing" Nepeta was in her clothes and had that big thing on her back,and her hair was brushed "You should show me around with that guy up there" he was talking about me. I walked down stairs "My name's Karkat" he looked at me and stuck his hands in his pockets "Hi Karkat, i'm Dextin" he smiled at me and stuck his hand out to shake. I took his hand "Do you wanna come with us to show me around" i really didn't but i had to make sure that they where dating before jumping to conclusions "Sure" he smiled "Great" I looked over at Nepeta she was putting on her shoes and arranging her weapon "Okay,i'm ready" we walked towards the door and headed out

~~NEPETA'S POV~~
Why did Karkat come,he hates the outside and walking. I Sneered "Hey what's that place" my thoughts where interrupted "Oh,that's the lab, that place is how i got to you know where" he nodded and stuck his hands in his pockets "So anywhere else you wanna show me" i sighed "Nope this is it, everywhere else is either extremely dangerous or extremely boring, that is why I left" he smiled "So you left because you where bored" "Well, that's one reason" he put his arm around my shoulder and hugged, and bent down why walking "I was kind of bored before you got to the guild too so" i smiled and put my arm around his neck "I guess you know how i felt, partially" he giggled "H3Y GUYS" my smile disappeared "Hi Terezi" i had almost forgot Karkat was behind us "K4RK4L3S YOU'R3 W4LKING" her voice made me cringe. Dextin was still bent beside me "What's up with her voice" Terezi and Karkat carried off there own conversation "I honestly don't know, but lets leave before they notice we're gone" he laughed, and stood up so we could walk properly

While we where walking around i realized that he still had his arm around me. I blushed and closed my eyes "What's wrong" i smiled "Oh nothing" i could feel his eyes on me "Hey" i asked "Where's Seaon and Lex" he shrugged "Back at Equius's place" oh no, he might smother them to death with weirdness. What ever, it has been awhile Dextin and I have been alone together "Hey Nep, what are we, relationship wise" I felt my face go extra red "Um,hmmmm" he looked at me and i looked up at him "I don't know, what do you think" I so pushed all that pressure on him. he scrunched his shoulders "I don't know that's why i asked you" And he just gave it back "I think we would be,very close friends" he smiled "What do you mean by that" i smiled back "You're in the friend zone,but you know i like you back" he laughed "Seriously,you put me in the friend zone" i laughed back "Yep, you can ask me any day now" he relaxed his shoulders "Well would you date me" i blushed and looked to the side "I suppose" he removed his arm leaving the warmth from my neck into a cold abyss

"I could teach you how to use your Kubikiribōchō" i smiled "Can we practice in that open field" i looked at it, it probably won't get dangerous until night fall, and we are farther away from the other hives, so we should leave at around seven o'clock "Yeah,we can practice here" he smiled "Great" he ran towards the field "Hey,you should be careful" he turned around and started backwards walking "Why" he tripped over a rock "That's a good reason" he rubbed the back of his neck "You wanna listen now" he smiled "Sure,you wanna come with a stance" I pulled out my Kubi "Sure"
