I walk back home, even though I don't want to. I didn't really have a choice since my mother is forcing me back. She called me and screamed in my ear for probably five minutes and then she told me to, and I quote, "get your ass home". I told Gerard and Mikey that I'll be back tomorrow, but who knows? 

"FRANK." My prostitute mother storms over to me. It's like a storm or forest fire destroying all the innocent trees. "Where the fuck were you?" 

"Working on a project," I mutter. She slaps me. "Go to your room," she seethes. I take a mad dash up the stairs, wanting to get away from here. 

"I thought you were supposed to be gone a week, not hours. You literally called me." I mutter. I walk into my room and close the door. She'd kill me if I slammed. I lay on my bed, completely boring and wanting to go back to the Way family household. I hate her. But she's my mom, so I can't completely hate her. I pull out my phone and find the contacts I added recently. I smile at the names. Ray Toro. Mikey Way. I smile the most at Gerard Way. I open the contact to text him. Then I drop the phone. What am I doing? It turns off automatically. I shoot to my feet. Looking at the window, I tie the curtains to the side to look outside. It's a nice view of the place. 

"FRANK!" My mother screams. I walk out of my room and to her bedroom. 

"Yes? Mother?" I bite my tongue. She glares at me. 

"I want to know who you're spending so much time with," she demands. She takes a step closer. 

"Some friends I made at school, no big deal!" I raise my hands up like I'm surrendering. 

"Names?" She raises an eyebrow. I guess she's just not used to me hanging out with people, well, if so, ditto. 

"Gerard, Mikey, and Ray!" I exclaim, wanting her to just shut up. She raises an eyebrow. She sighs. 

"Look, I know I'm hard on you, but it's only because I love you." 

"Or because you're on drugs," I mutter under my breath. 

"What?" 

"Nothing. I have homework." I say before she leaves the room. I pick up my phone.
