Sci purred as he felt a hand pet the top of his skull lightly, his face turning a light shade of blue.

"Heh, are you sure you didn't inject yourself with that serum as well?" The person behind him asked, a smirk widening on their face as Sci blushed more, shaking his head.

"No Fell...I didn't."

"Aww that's a shame, I think you'd have looked cute as a kitty~"

"J-Just shut up already and watch the cameras..." Sci huffed, leaning against him more.

"Mmhm whatever you say..."

Sci grumbled something under his breath as he turned back to the massive screen on the wall. The one big TV was divided into about thirty other smaller screens, each showing a different view of the outside or inside of the lab.

They were watching the security camera feed.

Sci had realised the day he decided to start 'Project Nekos' that the guys would most likely hunt him down or attack him for what he'd done, even if they loved the outcome, they'd still attack Sci for kidnapping and scaring them.

So he'd set up all his security cameras and systems around and inside his lab to prepare for the inevitable.

He knew he couldn't watch them all by himself. And quite frankly, he was a little scared at the thought of facing six of the worlds most powerful Sanses.

He especially wasn't looking forwards to explaining this to Nightmare or Error.

Fell took a bite of the microwave burrito Sci had got for him, his eyes flickering over each of the small screens in front of him before glancing down at Sci, who was resting against him softly on the worn down sofa, his eyes fixated on the mini screens.

Slightly bored, Fell pet the top of Sci's skull again, making him purr softly, his focus on the screens lessening slightly.

"Mmm...Fell stop...I need to focus..." Sci mumbled as he leaned against him more, shivering.

Fell chuckled. "Calm down. Besides, it's not like they're gonna kill you...are they?"

Sci gulped. "It depends on how much they liked the outcome..."

Fell laughed. "Oh I know for certain they liked the outcome. I mean, who wouldn't?"

Sci nodded slowly. "Yeah..."

"You know if you were a Neko you'd be even cuter~"

Sci squeaked, pushing him slightly. "S-Stop it! B-Be quiet and pay attention to the cameras!"

Fell chuckled lowly. "Okay, cutie~"

Sci huffed, trying to his best ability to ignore him, wrapping the blanket round his shoulders more around himself.

Fell smirked and looked back at the screens, frowning as he saw something move in the top left Screen.

"Sci..." He nudged him softly, indicating at the screen.

It showed a rather eerie view of the long driveway-like path that lead down to the lab, the trees looking dark and ominous in the shady video quality.

Sci's eyes widened as he saw a portal open on the pathway, the black silhouette of Nightmare stepping out, his cold blue eye staring right at the camera.

Sci shivered. "I'm so dead..."

Fell watched, his hand resting on top of Sci's as he watched the recognisable glitching figure of Error step out, followed by who he assumed to be Dust, Horror and Killer.

Soon a cloaked person stumbled out, along with someone else, supposedly Geno.

Finnaly, all the other Nekos walked out, their ears and tails clearly showing in the dark as a silhouette.

"Welp, at least you know it worked..." Fell muttered, his eyes trained on the screen.

Sci nodded, his hand shaking slightly as he raised it to scratch the back of his neck. "I'll die knowing I was successful..."

"They won't kill you Sci..." He frowned. "Will they?"

Sci shrugged. "Don't ask me! Ask them!"

Fell stood up, making Sci panic slightly, thinking he was going to walk out and abandon him.

Instead, he simply walked to the door and locked it, looking around for a moment before grabbing a nearby table and shoving it in front of a table, blocking it off.

"It won't stop them...but it will delay them and give us some sort of warning." Fell said as he walked back to Sci, sitting down next to him once more.

Sci gulped and nodded, eyeing the small security screens warily.

The group of twelve had now reached the front entrance, cocky expressions on their faces.

"OPEN UP SCI!" Error called, banging on the door, the sound echoing through the lab and sending a shiver up Sci's spine.

A minute passed and Sci didn't move. Neither did Fell.

The cameras showed the twelve skeletons backing up with Error, Nightmare and Reaper summoning massive gaster blasters.

"Oh were so dead..." Sci muttered as the blasters fired, burning a huge hole in the 'indestructible' doors.

"Yup." Fell responded, a casual expression on his face. "This is gonna hurt."

Sci gulped and nodded. "S-So what should we do in our last moments of living?"

"Make out?"

"Take things seriously for once Fell..."

"Heh, sorry."

Sci ignored the painfully obvious blush on his face and continued to stare at the cameras, watching as the group of skeletons grew ever closer.

"They'll probably want a cure..." Sci muttered as he walked over to a hand-print access safe.

"Did you make one?" Fell asked, peering over Sci's shoulder as he pressed his hand against the scanner, quickly being verified.

"Um, kinda..." Sci mumbled as he opened the safe, pulling out a see-through containment box of syringes.

"What do you mean by kinda?!"

He winced. "They're all nearly done...I-I just need one more ingredient..."

"Which is...?"

"Blood from the demon..."

Fell tilted his head to the side. "You mean the demon creature in your basement?"

Sci gulped and nodded. "I found it abandoned as a pup in Helltale, all alone and confused. I took pity on it and took it back with me, so that I could raise it. It used to love me, treat me like a parent. But now it's changed, growling and snapping at whenever I come close. Look what he did yesterday when I tried to get a blood sample from him..."

He slowly lifted up the sleeve of his Lab coat, wincing a bit.

Fell's eyes instantly widened at what he saw.

Along the bone on Sci's left arm, a deep scratch mark ran across the bone, the wound looking raw and agitated.

"I've dressed it and everything, and I should be okay...but still...he's never done that before..."

Fell frowned. "So what are you gonna do?"

Sci looked over at the cameras, paling as he saw that they were practically outside the door. "I-I have something in mind...b-but it might end with some people getting killed..."

Fell blinked. "What!? What do you mean 'it might end with some people getting killed?!'"

"I-I can't explain right now Fell!" Sci said quickly as he grabbed the box of syringes and ran to the back of the room.

Fell quickly followed. "No you explain right now!"

Sci flinched and turned to Fell. "Right. So basically–"

Sci cut off his sentence with a shriek of terror as a thick, dark tentacle speared through the door, barely missing Fell.

"Holy shit!" Fell yelped, scrambling back to where Sci was.

A splintering crack rang out as another tentacle speared through the door, making both Fell and Sci yelp in fear.

Fell's eyes narrowed as he heard the sound of something charging up outside the room.

His eyes widened as he realised what it was. "GET DOWN!"

He tackled Sci down to the floor and under a desk as the blaster fired, obliterating the door just like they'd done to the main entrance.

When the smoke finally cleared Sci cautiously peeked out from under the table, instantly wishing he hadn't.

Stood there...were all twelve skeletons.

And they all looked incredibly pissed.
