Piece of Cake
❤️💜13K LETS MAKE IT TO 15K!!!!💜❤️
And is anyone aware that tomorrow is the Crossmare anniversary?
IMMMM HYYYPPPEEDDD
The guys all froze, just completely in shock of what was in front of them, none of them even daring to move.
"What. The hell. Is that?" Error asked, his voice silent, barely a whisper.
In the middle of the room, there was a thick block of iron buried into the ground, some of it submerged.
Attached to the giant iron block, was a long, heavy chain, made of what also looked like iron.
And attached to the end of the chain...was a dog. A gigantic dog.
It was curled up, its head resting on its paws, eyes closed, breathing calm.
"I'm guessing that's the demon dog Sci was taking about..." Reaper muttered as his hand slowly gripped onto Geno's, pulling him closer.
"No shit Sherlock!" Geno hissed, his eye narrowing. "What else would it be? Another kitten?!"
Reaper covered Geno's mouth quickly. "Shh..."
"Calm down everyone..." Error whispered, looking down at the extractor in his hand. "All we need to do...is take some blood...that's it. Piece of cake. Just like Sci said..."
"If you think it's gonna be so easy you go and do it!" Killer hissed as he eyed the demon dog warily, his grip on Dream tightening again.
Error glanced back at the sleeping demon. "Why does Sci even have one of these?!"
"I don't know!" Nightmare hissed, one of his tentacles shoving Error forwards. "Just stop stalling and stab the god damn thing into it so we can get its blood!"
Error stumbled forwards, wincing at the dull noises he made as his feet hit the floor.
"Calm Error...this should be easy...Sci said he's been fed this morning...nothing to worry about...piece of cake." He muttered, his eyes scanning up the monstrous beast.
It's fur was pitch black, rough and matted, the dull red of dried blood visibly clumping parts of the fur together.
Its sides were covered in long scars. Some looked old, fully healed, inflicted ages ago. But some seemed fresh, still oozing blood and pus.
Error frowned, wondering how it had got such massive and aggressive scars.
It's tail was matted as well, the fur looking like it had been brushed backwards with a comb.
Around it's neck, the heavy metal collar looked like it was digging into its skin. Specks of dried blood were splattered over its dull silver surface.
Despite all of its physical bloodiness and wounds, if you looked at its face, you wouldn't know. It's fur on the top of its head looked soft, better kept than the rest. Its eyes were closed, seeming peaceful.
Error sighed. "What on earth have you been through...?" He murmured, his hand hovering over the demons head, wanting to pet it, make it feel better.
"What are you waiting for?!" Reaper whisper shouted from the other side of the room. "Just stab it in its shoulder, extract the blood, and run!"
Error ignored them, crouching down next to the massive dog, resting a hand softly on its shoulder.
Error glitched a bit from the contact, but didn't move his hand, keeping it softly against its warm shoulder, his fingers rubbing against the black fur softly.
The dog shifted from Errors sudden contact, but didn't move, only a claw twitched. It's eyes stayed shut.
Error sighed in relief, bringing up the extractor. "Sorry mate...but I've got to do this."
"Do it quickly. Then there's less chance of it feeling what's happening." Geno said, his hand gripping Reaper's tighter.
Error glanced over at him and nodded before looking back at the demon. He gulped, took a deep breath, and stabbed the extractor needle into the flesh on the shoulder.
The demon shifted.
Instantly everyone froze. Eyes wide, bodies stiff with tension.
Error watched, not even daring to breath as he rested his index and middle finger under the extractor plug thing. Pausing for a moment before pulling it up, watching as the vial filled with dark red blood.
Once it was full Error winced, knowing that even the slightest moment could now wake the lightly sleeping dog.
"Be careful Error." Ink called softly, his eyes wide and full of worry.
Error nodded and tightened his grip on the extractor before pulling it out. All in one go.
The demon reacted quicker than any of them could blink, lashing its claws out and pinning Error to the ground, making him let out a terrified shriek.
"ERROR!" Ink yelled, lunging forwards for his partner.
"Ink no!" Nightmare yelled, quickly lashing out a tentacle and wrapping it round Ink's waist, tugging him back to the others. "That thing will maul both of you!"
"But Error!" Ink cried, struggling.
Nightmare flinched, looking over. "Just stay still...he'll be fine....probably..."
Error was limp with fear, looking up at the demon dog. His mismatched eyes meeting its burning red ones.
"U-Um...good doggy?"
The demon growled, its lips peeling back to show its blood stained yellow teeth.
"SoMEonE hElP!!!" Error screamed, now struggling frantically.
"Throw the extractor over!" Reaper yelled from the other side of the room.
Error looked at his hand, which was still holding the extractor full of the demons blood and thew it, making it sail across the room before landing in Reaper's outstretched hands.
"Got it!" He called.
As soon as Reaper had caught it, the demon shifted its attention to Reaper, its eyes narrowing as it let out a low growl.
Reaper took a step back. "Shit."
The demon released Error, glaring at the other eleven skeletons, its stare resting on each of the Nekos as it's tongue hung out and it licked its lips.
Immediately, Ink backed up, Blue hid behind Dust, Geno clung to Reaper, Killer stepped in front of Dream, Lust gripped onto Horror and Nightmare pulled Cross against him, his tentacles pointing at the demon threateningly.
They all remembered what Sci had said about the demons little cat craving. And none of them wanted to get eaten, or wanted their friends to get eaten.
Seeing as the demon had released him, Error instantly scrambled away, running to the other side of the room, which was 'helpfully' the opposite side to where everyone else was stood.
The demon only glanced at Error, practically ignoring him as it began to stalk towards the others, growing loudly.
"Stay back!" Reaper yelled, summoning his scythe by his side.
The demon hissed, its claws digging into the ground with a sound that sent a shiver down each of their spines.
It stared at each of them hatefully before its eyes rested on Ink. The only Neko without someone protecting him.
"Ink get over here!" Dream called frantically, waving him over.
Ink immediately scrambled over, having been further away from the others.
As soon as Ink moved the dog pounced, lunging forwards, mouth open to bite him.
Ink let out a scream of terror as he tripped, throwing his arms out desperately in front of him.
Everyone stood frozen in fear as the demon went to bite Ink, bracing themselves for the sickening crunch that would signal Inks gruesome end.
But that sound never came.
The demon suddenly yelped as it got yanked back, the iron block and collar stopping it from getting to Ink.
It snapped and strained, fighting to get to the terrified Neko to no avail.
"NiGHtMarE hElP hIM!!!" Error screamed from the other side of the room, terrified for Inks safety.
Nightmare instantly lashed out a tentacle, grabbing Ink's wrist tightly and dragging him over away from the monster.
Ink got to his feet, shaking horribly. "Th-Thank you..."
Nightmare nodded, pulling Cross over to him with his tentacles as the demon locked eyes on him, seeming to like the idea of eating Cross now.
It started to stalk closer, only to let out a loud yelp of pain as one of Nightmare's tentacles stabbed it through the shoulder.
"Stay. The fuck. Back."
It glared at Nightmare, the two of them growling at each other loudly.
Cross clung to Nightmare, stayed close as he watched the dog with wary eyes.
Nightmare smirked at it, taking a step back with Cross. "Can't reach us with that chain, can you?"
Oh Karma. What a thing it is.
Suddenly without warning it leapt forwards, the chain groaning before snapping. The demon opened its mouth wide, lunging at Nightmare and Cross.
Nightmare immediately shoved across to the side, yelping as he got slammed to the ground, the demons teeth inches away from his face.
"NIGHTMARE!" Everyone screamed, their eyes wide with terror.
Nightmare struggled frantically before crying out and going limp as the demon bit onto one of his tentacles, its teeth sinking into the slimy tendril.
At that moment Error threw his hands forwards in front of him, letting his strings wrap and tangle around the dog, yanking it off of Nightmare quickly, pinning it to the floor.
Cross immediately ran over, collapsing to his knees next to Nightmare, panicked and worried.
"I-I'm fine Cross..." Nightmare muttered, wincing slightly in pain.
Error glanced at them before walking over to the struggling Demon cautiously.
It growled at him, struggling more as Error placed a hand on its collar.
"Shh...relax..." Error whispered as he gripped the collar, summoning a glitched bone attack in his right hand.
The demon went limp, seemingly giving up, thinking Error was going to kill it and end its suffering.
Instead, Error focused all his power on the bone attack and brought it down on the collar, making a metal clang ring out.
He repeated this process about seven times before the collar finally gave way and snapped, releasing the demon.
It blinked and looked up at him, it's red eyes narrowed in confusion.
"Don't worry...I'm not going to hurt you..." Error muttered as he rubbed his hand softly over its neck, wincing at the wet feel of blood and matted fur.
Error looked up at the others. "Geno Reaper. You two take the blood back up to Sci and get that antidote. Cross you get Nightmare back to the mansion. The rest of you go with them."
"What about you?" Ink asked, rushing over to him.
"I'm staying with him..." He muttered, looking down at the demon, that was still looking up at him with wary and curious eyes.
"Him...?"
"Demons don't have genders. I'm saying he's a he."
Ink nodded. "J-Just be careful with...him...okay?"
Error nodded. "I will be don't worry."
Ink nodded, sighing as Error opened a portal leading to the mansion.
"Don't worry. I'll be fine..."
Ink nodded, glancing at the demon one last tim before walking through the portal, the others following suit as Geno and Reaper started walking back up the corridor to where they'd hopefully find Sci and get the cure.
Once everyone was gone, Error looked down at the demon, smiling softly at it. "So it's just you and me now huh?"
