ANYWAY! (awkward moment over), here are my current top 5 favourite manga.

I'm known as very picky and can get bored very easily, so expect this title to show up often.

Anyway, here's my current 5 favourite Manga that totally deserve a shout out to the world!

5. Shokugeki no Soma (Food Wars) 

Tags: Cooking, drama, thrill, ecchi, romance (though not sappy thankfully. For now), Comedy, Shonen, School life.

Yukihira Souma's dream is to become a full-time chef in his father's restaurant and surpass his father's culinary skill. But just as Yukihira graduates from middle schools his father, Yukihira Jouichirou, closes down the restaurant to cook in Europe. Although downtrodden, Souma's fighting spirit is rekindled by a challenge from Jouichirou which is to survive in an elite culinary school where only 10% of the students graduate. Can Souma survive?  

Shokugeki no Soma is an awesome anime and manga. The anime itself is very exciting and the graphics are amazing. Wait, wait, we're talking about manga *slaps head*. Anyway, the manga goes a fair amount longer then the anime, its also easy to read with not too much details but still a few humorous small details here and there that make the story more amusing.

The main character, Yukihira Soma, is a very amusing and easy-going character. What I personally like about him is that he always keeps his cool and is not like the usual male main character. Soma is also very strong in the area of cooking and 'thinking out of the box' which makes his rivals shocked faces very amusing.

The food itself looks sooooo good. So I really recommend you do not read the manga with an empty stomach. This manga definitely has the signs of a harem but whats awesome is that the Soma can hold his own and be able to show off his aura with true skill. Anyway, moving on to the next manga!

4. Nukoduke! 

Tags: Heartwarming, slice of life, humor, friendship, family, adorableness, just-makes-you-smile-even-your-a-tsundere

"A heartwarming story about the daily lives of a freeter named Yuuya and his two part cat, part human pets."

The sentence you just read is the summary. Doesn't sound impressive does it? But let me just tell you...

IT IS SO HEARTWARMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It also has that awesome fun sense of light humor yet the characters take it so seriously that it so amusing. The manga is basically centered around the main character Yuuya and his two Nukos.

Yuuya is 23 year-old and is very easy-going and 'my pace' character. He is also always poker-face with a lazy yet somewhat adorable face. Yuuya is a part timer in all kinds of different jobs and keep switching. He is also considered a legendary cook by those who tasted his food (at the highschool he sometimes works at, is Yuuya is in the cafeteria, its a lucky day) 

Then the heartwarming part is the close, adorable, and cute relationship between Yuuya and his newly adopted Nukos. Nukos are part human and part cat, but they are very small but will eventually grow. 

The manga, along with a slightly sad story at the back, its so heartwarming you'll literally shed some tears on those 'serious' chapters.

And from all the comments I've read about Nukos. Everybody wants one. If your asking why look at this page and you'll know, trust me.

Oh yeah, and that guy with dark hair is Yamato who is Yuuya's childhood friend. He's an awesome and hilarious character. His character is the serious and responsible one, but you can bribe him to do anything with sweets (Yuuya who is an expert cook claimed that Yamato was practically his servant in highschool)  Nicknamed the 'God of Destruction' by Yuuya. Reason? Everything he makes pretty much ruins it.

So heartwarming with a hint of light humor. This manga just makes you smile....ANYWAY! Moving on to number 3!

3. Panlong

Tags: Adventure, Drama, Thrill, Fantasy, Action, Supernatural, Full-color

Linley is a young noble of a declining, once-powerful clan which once dominated the world. He has large aspirations and wants to save his clan. Linley's journey begins with an accident when he discovers a ring. He took a liking to this ring, which had a dragon carved coiling around it. Upon being injured during a battle between two powerful fighters he discovers that his ring is not what he thought it was and possesses powers beyond his imagination.  

While this Manga is slightly 'bipolar' and its style is always changing by a little but the storyline and the main character is awesome. Linley, the main character, is very relaxing since he's a prodigy and has that cool slightly stoic character (Although at the beginning he's more childish)

The Manga's graphics are also very unique as well as the fantasy level (you might want to pay a little bit attention at the beginning so you'll understand how it all works) The storyline is also quite different, and while I personally think Linley might be taking things slightly too seriously that it's slightly pitiful. One word/slight spoiler in why Linley is too serious and always has to keep up a cool and cold act: Revenge.

2. Black Haze

 Black Haze(블랙 헤이즈) follows the story of , a boy who carries a secret -- he is actually the famous Black Magician, [Blow], one of the youngest but strongest magicians in the world. In spite of this, lately, his has only been sending him out on trivial missions, like running errands and orchestrating petty revenge schemes for clients.

One day, Rood encounters the powerful , who has come to request for his's help. Her second son, , has not been fitting in well at school, so she would like Rood to help him out. To do so, Rood must go undercover as a student at the famed school of magic, , and find out just why everyone calls the son of an esteemed duke, a 'Monster'. Of course, Rood soon comes to realize that there is a lot more going on at this exclusive school than meets the eye...

I love this manga. Mainly because the main character is strong, clever, and always calm. He's also the 'realist' of the story considering the other strong magicians are kind of crazy in the head. The story has its own crazy sense of humor and its serious at the same time. There is also a deep backstory besides all the easy going days. 

This story actually made me cry. Later on though.

I really enjoy manga where the main character is strong, calm, and have some kind of other awesome cover. Rood Chrishi seems like a talented and unconsciously charming teenager but is actually the world's famous magician the Black Magician (His dark power actually has a secret which is explored later.) When he actually gets a mission from his secretly overprotective boss/older brother, he has to go see why the students in the great magic school Helios are treating his clients son as a 'monster'.

His cover at the school is a 'Handsome ill genius' at least that's what his boss claimed. While it seems like a easy job, there are some shady things happening at Helios that would definitely need the Black Magicians help.

And not to mention the many people trying to figure out his true identity for all kinds of reasons (rivals, fans, serious people, etc)

Here's a really funny part (in my opinion): Note: The red guy is one of the crazy strong people, he wants to find the Black Magician to fight him. Its kind of an obsession but its hilarious.

1. Qishi Huanxiang ye

Tags: Full colored (seriously, its really pretty!), reverse harem, romance, adventrue, comedy, humor, historical, supernatural. 

Lin is just an ordinary high school student. But on the day she transfers to a new school, she gets a video game, which sends her to the world of King Arthur. There, she meets a mysterious wizard, who tells her that her mission is to find and gather the Knights of the Round Table.  

THIS MANGA IS AWESOME!!!

What I love about this manga is the art! Its one of the best (if not the best) manga designs, plus the clothes are very interesting.

This manga has humor, not to serious romance, and thrill! It also has a lot of chapters (over a hundred) Its basically about a teenager girl who get a video game. When she turns it on, she is suddenly transported into a historical magical world where she meets the wizard Merlin. The only way to complete the game is for her to help King Arthur rule England. She assists him when he is a child who shows a 'dislike' (tsundere) even when he starts to like her he still acts like he dislikes her but they still have there moments. She also has to helps him collect his round table of knights. Pretty much all of them are incredibly good looking people.

Here's an example and picture of what the graphics are like. Also shows how good-looking the knights and king arthur looks like: (King arthur is the blond one and the rest are knights. He's still in the middle of gathering so there aren't that many yet) 

Oh and here's a pic of the main character. Lin Ling. She looks kind of normal at the beginning but as the story processes, she turns really pretty.

Lin ling is trained to have wind powers. She has a noble spirit and is very unique to others. Also since she is from the real world, she sometimes brings stuff that astound people, like cell phones, or lighters. She also possess common knowledge from her world that impress people from the historical world. 

Anyway to put it simply.
