Ebony POV

"Sleep" I glared at Marlon studying at 3:00am in the living room for his exams.

He looked really terrible and tired. I came back home from saving a family from a mutated bear.

"Shh..." he giggled, laying down on his notebook that was covered in his drool. Such a nerd..

He studied for the week so it's enough but he doesn't think so. He hasn't slept and only ate a little, which makes me worry about him.

I carried him on my back to his bed. I noticed something on his table. An empty bottle of wine. But why?

I screamed, covering my eyes when he took off his shirt. He grinned, poking his muscles. "Wanna sleep with a handsome man like mwah?" he smirked. Clearly he's drunk as I read from the internet about these foolish humans.

He combed his hair with his fingers and looked up at me. "Exams are such a pain in the potato" he muttered.

I blinked. "Potato?"

"Shh...you wouldn't understand since you are a cute little cat" he pouted. He looked around his room with pictures of him when he was younger. "I got straight 100s in my exam and my friends and family thought I cheated," he smiled.

"so I got no job!" he added.

"Marlon...."

"Sleep with me" he wiggled his eyebrows.

"No" I said angrily.

"Mean!" he wined.

I went shopping at the mall with Shana for her party. She loves partying a lot and getting wasted. I'm not sure why.

We sat at the food court, eating our burgers. She taught me how to eat it because I was using a fork. Humans and their weird ways..

I glimpsed a young man with blonde hair and blue eyes smiling at me from a table infront of us. Shana smirked, chewing her burger violently. "A guy is checking you out" she chuckled...which made her cough afterwards from her food.

Number 1 rule of eating: Don't talk while eating.

I learnt that the hard way with Izzy. She couldn't breathe for one minute that scared me to death.

I sighed, thinking about Marlon for some reason. Blushing and trying to ignore my thoughts I just the burger violently.

"Woah, take it easy girl.." Shana smiled nervously.

I glared at her and then growled at the young man smiling at me. He slowly got out of his seat then exited the store. Humans....

I came back home tired, curling up into a blanket in the living room couch. Izzy patted my head and I smiled grew on my lips.

"I can't wait until I'm a full cat again" I chuckled.

She hesitated, staring at me then answered. "Yeah, me too..."

Marlon entered the room with a big smile on his face.

"I got the job!"
