Fuzzy POV

I patted Mason on his back as our friends stared at his ears when we were eating lunch on the school rooftop.

"Well..." Brianna smiled nervously taking off a ribbon.

Her cat ears moved as she scratched behind her head.

"I was told it was for a week" she sighed.

"She had to do it to my two human friends" I sighed glaring at the sky.

"Damn you!" I shouted.

Charlie and Brianna smiled nervously as their teeth sharpened.

"You had to be a cat" he covered his mouth.

He looked at me worriedly as I trembled standing between Daniel and Mason. He growled at them and dragged me away from them. I couldn't stop blushing as they kept dragging me like tug a war.

"Guys stop" Brianna wasn't smiling like she usually does.

She blushed looking at Daniel then glared at me as her ears drooped.

"Brianna?" I became worried.

"You are so lucky," she spoke softly.

"I need some time alone" she jumped off the building.

"Brianna!" we became frightened.

She landed on her feet.

"Remember?!" she pointed at her ears.

"Oh...yeah" we smiled nervously.

"Wait, let me come with you!" Daniel took off his jacket and opened his wings.

"I'm fine alone!" her voice seemed shaky.

He clenched his fists.

"I'm the eagle you were afraid of!"

"Huh?!" she smiled nervously.

He left us flying down the building and landed in front of her.

"Do you know what are they are saying mut?" Mason looked at Charlie.

"I might be a dog but I'm not going into people's privacy, plus aren't you a fox" Charlie glared at him.

Mason's ears were stiff as he tried to listen to their conversation. Daniel glared at us and made a large force impact with his wings.

"Yeah, it's private" Mason smiled nervously.

"My brother can be scary" Danielle laughed nervously.

Brianna POV

"Please understand that I don't like seeing you sad" Daniel looked at my drooping ears.

"You like Fiona anyway" I spoke softly.

I can't hide these feeling anymore...I can't smile anymore...

"What's that supposed to mean?" he became confused.

"So...you were the eagle?" I changed the subject.

I looked at my friends on the roof trying to listen to our conversation.

"Yeah" he looked depressed.

"You turned....into this just to be with me?" I blushed.

"I wanted to be your friend," he smiled softly.

I felt like I was stabbed by his words.

"You always ran away from me" he sighed.

"Because I wasn't good with animals" I smiled nervously.

"You are now?" he smiled nervously.

"Yeah, because of someone," I held his hand.

"So let's go back to our friends before they fall off the building trying to get closer to our conversation" I laughed.

"Yeah" he laughed.
