Martin POV

"Good morning, mom" I became nervous.

I held down my hat hiding my ears

"You got a job, you cheater" she gave me her suitcases.

I became depressed as my ears drooped.

"Don't say that to your son" Ebony folded her arms.

"I can say anything to him, I'm his mother" mom said angrily.

I held Ebony's hand.

"It's okay" I spoke softly.

She looked at me worriedly.

"Martin...it's not" she took off my hat looking at my drooping ears.

"What is that on your head?!" mom became frightened.

"Your son isn't having a good time now" Ebony glared at her.

"I need to know" mom held my hand.

"It doesn't matter anyway" I sighed.

Mom looked at me angrily.

"You don't want to tell your own mother!" she clenched her fists.

"Because you won't care!" I clenched my fists.

"I'm a cheater to you, I got my grades through hard work" my voice became shaky.

"You lier" she glared at me.

"I did the test over at my new job and I passed"

She froze staring at me.

"Where is the guest room?" she folded her arms.

"Over there" I pointed at the guest room.

She walked past me coldly. Ebony hugged me tightly.

"You have me that's all you need" she rubbed my head.

"I know" I smiled softly.

I caught mom staring at me from the guest room.

She still cares....

"Mom, I'm...a dog human I guess" I sighed.

"What?" she became confused.

She slowly scratched behind my ears. My ears moved rapidly smiling at her.

"It's...true," she smiled softly.

"But....how?" she became worried.

"Well, a lady with powers did it to me but it's only for a week" I sighed.

Ebony took off her ribbon showing her ears.

"You are a cat?" mom looked at her ears.

"Yeah" Ebony smiled nervously.

"My poor baby must be scared" mom hugged me.

"I'm not" I smiled nervously.

"But, your ears are drooping" she looked at me worriedly.

"That's not why your son's ears are drooping" Ebony sighed.

Mom sighed looking at me.

"I...was wrong" mom tried not to look at me.

"You believe me?!" I smiled.

"Yeah" she laughed looking at my ears not drooping anymore.

I hugged her lifting her from the floor.

"Someone is too happy" she smiled softly.

"I got my mom back" I spoke softly.

She blushed hugging me back.

Izzy, Fuzzy and Harry came back from school staring at her.

"Who...is she?" Izzy smiled nervously.

"My mom" I smiled.

"Hi, Martin's mom!" Harry smiled.

"He's so cute," mom smiled.

"They are like you?" she asked.

"Yeah" I smiled nervously.

Fuzzy took out her phone taking to someone sounding like a boy. I took the phone from her.

"Martin that's Charlie!" she wined.

"Oh...sorry" I laughed nervously.

"It seems someone is overprotective of them" mom smirked.

"I'm just...making sure they don't get hurt" I sighed.

"You don't want her to get a boyfriend don't you?" she sighed.

"Yep" I scratched the back of my head.

Ebony elbowed me in my side.

"Oh...mom, I'm engaged" I smiled nervously.

"Really?!" mom's eyes sparkled.

"To her" I dragged Ebony closer to me.

Ebony blushed extremely smiling nervously at her.

"She's cute and a perfect wife" mom smiled softly.

"Thank you, mam" Ebony bowed.

"Call me mom" mom laughed.

Ebony smiled blushing harder.

"Mom..." she mumbled.

I chuckled smirking at her.
