It's a quiet ride the rest of the way. Alex didn't answer the question. He just stared out the window while hugging you. You had become slightly uncomfortable in that position, but his warm body against yours was too good feeling for you to attempt to move away. Alex suddenly moved a little and nuzzle his head against your neck. This made you blush, your neck was really sensitive. You could hear his breathing start to slow a little as he drifted off. The sky darkened and rain started to pitter patter on the window, slowly making you drowsy. But you had to stay up to make sure you two got off at the right stop.
At the very least you could say it was an exhausting two hours that you endured before reaching the stop. The rain was heavier now and the sun was set, making you very tired. And with Alex cuddled up against you and breathing so softly it took all you had to stay awake. You couldn't wait to get to the cabin. I bet there's a big soft bed...Alex and I can cuddle up in it while a fireplace warms us up and the rain falls outside. You smiled giddily and then blushed embarrassed. Tch, I don't need someone else to warm me up....You thought grouchily.
The bus pulled over into a parking lot that was dimly lit. The town was so small you couldn't even tell you had entered it. It looked almost exactly like the forest you'd been driving through, except for a few houses here and there. Shaking Alex slightly to get him up, you look around at the small bus station. Really small. It looked more like a convenience store from the outside. "Alex... get up, we have to get off." You mumbled in his ear. He lifted his head up a little and peered up at you. Slowly he stretched and yawned showing off his cat like teeth (writer has no idea how to describe them). He smiled a little and picked up his stuff, and your stuff. "Let's go. We have quite a walk ahead of us."
You groaned internally and walked with him off the bus.
"If I remember correctly it should be like three miles into the forest." He said as he started walking excitedly towards the forest. You had to jog to catch up with him. All three miles.
By the time you had reached the cabin you were soaked and shivering, partially from the cold, partially from the dark creepy forest.
But the cabin didn't let you down, it was a two story cabin. It had a generator that Alex turned on when you arrived, so there was also electricity. "This was my friends cabin. His family comes here sometimes, but they probably won't come for a few months." He said and walked inside. It was warm and cozy with a large couch in front of a fireplace that was currently not lit. There were tables and rugs and chairs and lamps. But the thing you were most interested in was a bathroom. You wanted to shower. Eat and then go to bed.
"Hey where's the bathroom?" You asked turning to Alex.
He set your bags on the couch and then turned to you, "Upstairs, next to the master bedroom. Here yah go!" He said and tossed your backpack at you. It hit your arm and fell to the ground. "....thanks." you said and went to the bathroom.
After a long steamy shower you climbed out, dried off and put on some underwear and a bra. You pulled on a robe that hung in the bathroom and walked to the bedroom. Alex was on the bed in his pajamas, "There you are! You took forever!" He said perking up as you walked in. "I missed my little princess!" He said jumping up and hugging you. You squealed in surprised, and He picked you up and jumped into the bed with you. He landed on top of you with his legs to the sides of yours and his hands by your head.
"You look purrfect darling." He said in a low voice and smiled seductively.
"Ha ha ha. Very funny." You said sarcastically. You blushed, "Let me up, I'm hunggryy Alex." You whined.
"We don't have any food at the moment, love. I'll have to go shopping in the morning." He said quietly as He leaned closer to you, "although you looked good enough to eat." He purred and bit the lobe of your ear.
"A-alex!" You blushed deeper.
He smirked and kissed your jaw before hopping off of you and pulling you up into a sitting position.
"Let's sleep, I promise to get you whatever you want to eat tomorrow." He said and turned off the bed side lamp.
"Okay." You mumbled as you tried to see in the absolute dark. You felt Alex pull you against him and you curled up against his chest, "I'll keep you warm princess..." He said quietly as he moved your wet hair behind your ear.
