"so why were you still on campus sunbae?" hangyul asked once they got out of the school, looking at the alpha who was walking beside him, "i thought you went home with yuvin and jinhyuk sunbae"

"i thought you were at your dorm" seungyoun rubbed the back of his neck shyly, "and yohan told me you were still practicing here so i walked back to find you"

"you— you were looking for me?" hangyul cocked his head to the side, making sure he heard right. he was distracted up his leg instead of the blush on the alpha's face.

"i wanted to walk back with you" seungyoun check's turned the slightest shade of pink as he said that, "and i'm kinda glad i listened to myself since you ran into him"

"don't you have better things to do mr. cho?" hangyul giggled, hiding the discomfort he was feeling all over his body, "it's not like you to escort people home"

seungyoun chuckled, looking at hangyul who was walking beside him, "i only escort one person home mr. lee, and photo shoots and meetings with my dad can wait till later"

hangyul let out another soft giggle from his lips, forgetting the pain he was feeling for a while as he talked to seungyoun. he was becoming more— comfortable around the older. he kind of liked where this was going. he didn't have a lot of friends but just having a few close ones made him happy already.

"get on" hangyul was interrupted from his happy thoughts when he saw seungyoun's back in front of him. the older crouched down, waiting for the omega to leap onto his back.

"h-huh?" hangyul looked perplexed, debating whether he should get on or walk back to the dormitory on his own.

seungyoun turned his head around, keeping his crouching position, "your leg. you injured it didn't you?" of course seungyoun was observant of the omega and the discomfort in his leg whenever he took a step.

hangyul bit his bottom lip, "are— are you sure?" what if someone saw them? they could take it the wrong way.

"if i weren't sure would i be waiting for you to hop on?" seungyoun smirked, making hangyul reluctantly get on. he let out a small yelp when seungyoun held onto his legs tightly, hoisting him up to make sure he didn't fall.

blush spread across the omega's face as he dug his head into the back of seungyoun's shoulder, holding on tightly to make sure he wouldn't fall. his heart practically beated against his chest ever so rapidly on the way there.

he was sort of glad the dormitory wasn't far or else his heart would've beated out of his chest. seungyoun had gently put him down once they were in front of the building.

"tha— thank you sunbae" hangyul whispered, looking around to see if any students saw them. he was thankful that the road was clear and not a single person was to be seen.

"don't overwork yourself" seungyoun reminded, patting the shorter on the head, "can you go upstairs by yourself?"

hangyul nodded reassuringly, "you should be heading back too sunbae. thanks for today" he rubbed the back of his nape shyly.

"if you say so" seungyoun smiled, watching as hangyul waved at him and headed into the building. once he disappeared out of sight, he turned around the headed towards the road leading out of the place.

well, it wasn't like seungyoun had nothing to do. in fact, he did have a lot of things to do, such as continue writing his song and attend the various photo shoots he missed. he even had meetings to go to with his dad and the rest of the company but he chose not to go.

he didn't want to become a model. he wanted to pursue music. he didn't want his dad to pass on the company to him after he graduated this year.

he finally snapped out of his thoughts when he heard two familiar voices standing outside of the omega dorm he just walked by. his eyes wandered over to the two people standing at the gate. it was jinhyuk and wooseok.

"i'll see you tomorrow?" he heard jinhyuk ask, his hopes as high as the sun that was setting in the sky since he was absolutely whipped for the cold omega.

wooseok simply crossed his arms, making seungyoun snort as he watched from afar, "who says i want to see you tomorrow?" he's been friends with wooseok for a while so he knows how the omega acts like. wooseok found it fun to tease jinhyuk a little, knowing how oblivious the alpha could be.

"oh" jinhyuk rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, "i'll invite eunhee to the new cafe then since you don't want to go" and of course, jinhyuk always did everything to make wooseok jealous, which actually worked since, despite acting all cold to him, part of wooseok did like jinhyuk.

"whatever" wooseok rolled his eyes, hearing him mention the girl's name, "i didn't say i wouldn't go with you. you don't have to do everything with that girl" he mumbled the last sentence so jinhyuk could barely hear it.

"so you'll go?" if jinhyuk had a tail, it'd be wagging back and forth happily like a dog who saw its owner. the smile itself made wooseok feel things inside.

wooseok puffed his cheeks, turning around and heading inside, knowing that jinhyuk couldn't trail after him since no alpha was allowed past the gates, "i'll think about it"

seungyoun chuckled, heading towards jinhyuk to comfort him after wooseok was out of sight. it was sad to see jinhyuk so discouraged, yet he knew it was just wooseok's personality. he was the hard to get type of guy and jinhyuk has been trying for months. seungyoun found him impressive that he rose to the challenge in the first place.

"you're doing fine" seungyoun slung an arm around the alpha's shoulder, "wooseok will like you in no time"

"seungyoun?" jinhyuk looked up with a surprised reaction, "you're still on campus?"

"i just took hangyul back" seungyoun chuckled, "and i happened to see you talking to your little crush"

jinhyuk let out a sigh, slouching a little bit, "i— i might just give up. wooseok doesn't like me so what's the point of trying. i'm sure there are other people who like me, right?"

seungyoun's eyes widened, looking at the boy next to him, "you're— you're giving up? that doesn't sound like you at all bro"

"i know" jinhyuk laughed pitifully at himself before looking down at the ground, "but i feel like i'm just bothering him. no wonder they call him the ice prince. i don't feel like i'm making any progress at all and it's been months"

"who knows" seungyoun shrugged, smirking at him, "maybe he just showers his love in a different way. besides, the jinhyuk i know wouldn't give up on someone that easily"

of course wooseok liked jinhyuk. he liked how stupidly annoying he was and how he'd follow him around like a lost puppy, practically begging for attention. sometimes seungyoun wondered if he was like that to hangyul.

the only difference was— hangyul doesn't like seungyoun, right?
