ALLY
When I arrived at school this morning, I was surprised to see a note on my locker door from Lauren.

MEET ME IN STORAGE CLOSET ASAP!!

I frowned and wondered, what is that girl up to now?

As I stepped into the storage closet, I could tell Lauren was super excited about something.
"Guess who's going to the school dance?!" She giggled happily.

I sighed and went along, "Who?"

Lauren grabbed my arm and said, "You and me my friend, you and me."

I was in shock. No way was I going to the school dance where all the popular kids are. Nuh uh.
"No thanks Lauren. And plus we need dates to go to the dance."

"I know that stupid! That's why I'm going with Daniel! You have to get a date Ally, that's your mission. You HAVE TO." With that, she left me in the closet contemplating all situations of life.

Why Lauren Why?

HAYDEN
"Dude the annual school dance in coming up in three days, who are you taking?" Kristian leaned over the table during lunch.

"Bro sit down. I'm not planning on going anyway." I shrugged.

"Hayden you have to ask Ally." Jack butted in.

"Why?"

"Cause. You two are so cute! Dunno if you like her but you should just ask just cause."

"No Jack, I'm not."

"Come one Hayden! You'll be the only one stuck at home Friday night. You'll be all lonely. Even your sister's going."

"Lauren?? With who?"

"You haven't heard? She got together with Daniel like last week."

"Why wasn't I informed of this?"

"You're going odd topic Hayden. Are you in or not?"
Everyone was staring, waiting for my answer.

I sighed. "Fine."

"Yes! You'd better figure out how to ask Ally before that Ethan dude gets her."

TIMESKIP

When I went home that afternoon, I had a fabulous idea pop into my head. I could make a card for Ally and write a note inside inviting her to the dance!

It's genius! I'm genius!

I went to Lauren's room and grabbed a whole bunch of crafts supplies while she watched YouTube and scattered them all over my desk. I turned on my phone to play some music to make it more fun, and now I can start.

The final step to this master creation is to write a deep, poem to complete it.
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I'd really love if you
Went to the dance with me!

Okay I admit. It's cheesy as. But it's the best I could do considering I'm me. I don't do craft.

The next day I waited by Ally's locker to give her the card waiting for her to arrive, somehow I was a nervous wreck. I mean I'm the most popular guy! What happens if I get rejected by the average girl?

"Hi Hayden!" Ally greeted me with a smile.

I opened my mouth to say hi, but no words came out.

"Um, are you okay? You seem stunned."

"Oh! Actually a Ally, I just wanted to give-"

"ALLY! COME HERE RIGHT NOW!" Lauren screamed down the hallway.

"Sorry Hayden, gotta go. I spilled water all over Lauren's 3 page assignment that was due today and now she's real angry." Ally closed her locker and ran off, leaving me standing like a complete idiot with a sappy card in my hand.

Then I noticed everyone was staring at me.
"What are you staring at?" I asked everyone.
They all just pretended they didn't notice me and went off.

Well that failed.

I'm updating today instead of Friday cause I'm graduating tomorrow and then sleeping over at my friend's house so this ones early! I will go back to my updating schedule (hopefully)
