3RD PERSON'S POV

"Mom, I won't be eating dinner today." Joohee told her mother who was watching drama on tv with her dad.

"I'll going out to see someone." She walk back to the kitchen to get something to eat before bumping to Yoongi who just walk out of his room.

"Good morning sunbae!" Joohee quickly greeted.

"Good morning!~" Yoongi greeted back with a warm smile.
"Ah and who are you seeing?"

"Just my high school friends." She replied. A thought then comes to her head.

"Do you want to come with me?" Joohee asked. She thought that it would be cruel if she just left him at home alone.

"Sure." Yoongi agreed. He didn't know what friends Joohee is meeting but there is a chance that a male friend might be there. He figured it might not be safe for her to go alone.

She scampered out of her room and skidded into a stop in front of his door. She cleared first, fixed her hair and clothes before nervously knocking on the door. As he swung the door open, she was then greeted by Yoongi who looked as handsome as ever in his casual wear.

"Ready?" Joohee asked.

Yoongi nodded before answering "Let's go."

They exited the house and began walking side by side on the streets as Joohee try to keep a safe distance between the two. But every time she took a step away, Yoongi took a bigger step closer.

"Hey aren't we sort of matching today?" Yoongi asked, looking at their somewhat similar clothes.

"Oh... we do." They we're both wearing ripped jeans, black sweater, and even have the same color shoes. The only difference is his sweater his graphic and hers is not.

"You look pretty like that." Yoongi shamelessly stated and she shyly bit onto her bottom lip as she unconsciously fidgeted in embarrassment at his stare.

"Thank you, sunbae."
Pretty? Joohee thought to herself. It's funny how Yoongi used to call her by the name 'ugly' before. Such a drastic change that she wonder if he's the same guy anymore.

Inside the cafe three people were grouped together in the table as they chatted amongst each other. They were Joohee's high school friends back in Gwangju: Ewon, Sungho, and Saera.

Saera turned her head and immediately saw Joohee and a guy entering the place together. The two were walking pretty close and seems to be comfortable with each other.

"Joohee's here." Saera told the guys, stopping them from talking any longer. Beaming, they raised their hand and waved at the two person. "Hey guys!" They greeted happily.

Yoongi was taken aback to see that it was only 3 people, but 2 of them are guys. Good looking ones, too.

Joohee's eyes sparkled when she approaches the three people whom she had been waiting to meet.
"I missed you guys!" She excitedly stated as she was greeted by the embrace of all of her friends.

"My little Joohee haven't change one bit!" Ewon ruffled her hair with a happy smile on his face.

My little Joohee? Yoongi scoffed secretly inside of his head at the way the other guy call her. He doesn't like the words little and even hate it more when that guy uses the word my.

"Oh, nice to meet you. You must be Yoongi hyung, right?" Sungho offer and handshake and Yoongi received it.

"Hi oppa! I've heard a lot about you, nice to meet you!" Saera said as all of the group sat down.

"Nice to meet you, hyung." That Ewon guy greeted and Yoongi respond with a half-ass smile.

"Here guys, you should order something." Sungho hand over the menu to Joohee and Yoongi. A few seconds late, the waitress arrived to take any order.

"Can I get a-"

"I already order your favorite milk tea already." Ewon interrupted Joohee.

Yoongi's eyebrows furrowed and slightly glare at the guy once again across the table. This is not the typical Yoongi but he couldn't help but act this way.

"Wow Ewon, I'm surprised you still remember!" Joohee replied with a chuckled.

"Of course, how can I forget?"

Oh how Yoongi wish he could wipe that smile off Ewon's face. They haven't met for 5 minutes but Yoongi is already annoyed with this guy.

After he finished ordering, the waitress took the menus on the table and left.

"Dude, you're so freaking lucky. He's gorgeous." Saera sneakily whispered in the other girl's ear.

"I know." Joohee admitted.

"So hyung, how did you met Joohee?" Sungho asked the older guy and the whole table focus on him.

"We're neighbors." Yoongi replied.
"And her cousin is also my friend."

"Ah~ Hoseok right?" Saera asked and Yoongi nodded.

"Are you guys dating or something?" Ewon look straight at Yoongi while asking that question.

"Y-yah!" Joohee grew flustered.
"What are you-"

"No." Yoongi replied to Ewon. His voice almost sounded cocky.
"Not yet."

Joohee blinked a few times before looking back at Yoongi. The little way that he emphasize the word 'yet' makes her feel some sort of way.

"Ohh, I ship!" Saera giggled, looking like the most excited one.

Shortly after their drinks arrive along with some desserts. While the group chat among themselves as they sips on their drinks, Saera suddenly asked Yoongi another question.

"What's your first impression of Joohee?" She asked in a curious manner.
"I can already imagine it being really cute!"

"Cute?" Joohee let out a unnatural and nervous laughter. She remember his emotionless expression the first time she met him like it was yesterday. Joohee is pretty sure she didn't made a good impression on him, base on how uninterested he looked.

"I thought she wasn't anything special." Yoongi straightforwardly answered, making the others dropped their jaws to the ground. His statement pulled her little heartstring but she remain to act natural.

"You're not good at judging a person, aren't you?" Ewon sarcastically said with a scoff.

"Yeah." Yoongi admitted. Not only that he misjudged Joohee, he also misjudged his ex girlfriend who he thought he knew so well but in reality, he doesn't.
"But eventually I did found out how amazing of a person she is."

"That's true." Sungho nodded along with Saera .

Joohee couldn't help but let out a huge smile at the sincerity of his voice when he said the last sentence. She didn't know and didn't imagine such sweet words can come out of his mouth.

"Joohee, you're alright?" Ewon asked the girl with a cute little smile on his face.

"Hehe you're spacing out again." Saera commented as Joohee snapped out of her thought.

"Here." Ewon slide over the plate of cheesecake that he ordered for her before she came.
"Try it~"

"Joohee, you like chocolate cake more don't you?" Yoongi fake a widen smile at Ewon before giving the dessert that he ordered to Joohee. No one realized it but Yoongi was giving off this burning fire aura from his body as he and Ewon stare intensely at Joohee.

"Joohee obviously likes cheesecake more." Ewon stated.

"When it comes to food, I know her the best. She can't reject chocolate." Yoongi retorted

"We should've bring popcorn." Saera whispered to Sungho.

"Guys." Joohee obliviously chuckled.
"If both of you know me well enough then you should know that I can easily fit both in my stomach."

"Oh..... right." The two guys responded.

Just when Joohee was about to pick up the spoon on the table, she felt a vibrate against her fingers. It was Ewon's phone that was ringing across the table. The four watches as a smile crept on his face when he grabbed the phone and head outside.

"Your girlfriend?" Joohee asked before he leave.

"Yeah." Ewon nodded before heading outside to answer the phone.

"She said she wanted to come see you with Ewon, but she couldn't come due to her vacation." Sungho told Joohee.

"Hm, I heard." She replied.

"He have a girlfriend?!" Yoongi asked, his voice sounded more enthusiastic than he thought.

"Yeah, they dated since high school." Joohee answered, not sure what the gummy smile on Yoongi's face was all about.

"Why are you so happy though?" She asked.

"I thought I have a competition to face." Yoongi shamelessly chuckled.

Competition? Joohee thought. It suddenly just hit her that Yoongi was jealous of Ewon all this time. No wonder he looked so heated, she thought that he didn't like her friends. Her cheeks burn from smiling too much at the thought of someone being like that over her.

"They're so obvious, I bet you anything that they'll start dating within a week." Saera and Sungho whisper to each other at the cheesy sight in front of them.
