28: Monday

As if it was an omen from the god's, Yoongi was sitting out on his balcony the very next morning. Jimin smiled as he fixed his hair and stepped outside. He quietly shuffled to his chair and sat down, putting his cup of coffee in between his thighs as he waited for it to cool down.

"Good morning," Yoongi said softly with a large yawn afterwards.

Jimin looked over at him, "Good morning."

"How was game night on Saturday?"

"If I'm being honest it was kinda boring."

"Oh," Yoongi looked over at Jimin, "Why's that?"

"Because you weren't there. You've really become a necessity to our group," Jimin smiled.

Yoongi smiled back, "Good to know."

They fell into a silence as the sun rose up in front of them. This activity, this tradition, that the two had every morning made Jimin happy. It had become so much easier for him to wake up in the morning just because he got to look forward to sharing the sun rise with a friend. Jimin was alone for most of his life because he was too scared to socialize. Until he'd met Taehyung, but even then he'd never been the outgoing type. Which caused him to isolate himself a lot without meaning to.

"I've been meaning to go and see the live action version of Lion King lately, but I don't want to go alone," Yoongi said, "So would you be as kind as to accompany me to the movies tonight?"

Jimin nodded, "You don't have to work late again?"

"No they're giving me a bit of a break so I'm going to enjoy it while I can."

"Then I'd be happy to go," Jimin smiled yet again. Yoongi just had that effect on him.

"Cool, I'll look up the time and then text it to you along with what time I'll pick you up."

"Why do you always say 'pick up'? We live right next to each other."

"Are you making fun of me, Jimin?"

"No."

"I think you are," Yoongi fake pouted.

"Shut up you big wuss," Jimin rolled his eyes.

After the movie was over Jimin and Yoongi decided to go walk around the mall since it was right next to the theater. They talked about random things, made weird jokes and overall had fun. Jimin was in absolute heaven. Jungkook had never made him have the butterflies that Yoongi did.

"Hey, look. There's a piano," Jimin said as he pointed to the grand piano situated in the center of a main hallway. He automatically went to it and sat on the bench. Yoongi sat next to him and since the bench was small it caused their thighs to touch. Which made Jimin internally freak out like a school girl.

"Will you play me something?"

"You ask me that every time I'm in the same room as a piano."

"Sorry," Jimin blushed. He just really liked listening to Yoongi play and seeing the way the older focused and drifted away into the music.

"If I play then you have to play something too," Yoongi said.

Jimin frowned, "I'm not a piano man, Yoongi. I don't know anything on the piano."

"Then I'll teach you." Yoongi placed his hands on the keyboard and played a brief, but beautiful, piece. It sounded familiar to Jimin. He assumed that he had heard it in high school music class or something of the sort. When Yoongi was done he looked at Jimin, "Your turn."

Jimin put his hands on the piano. He did his best to place his fingers where he remembered Yoongi put his. Then he looked at the mint haired man, "Good?"

Yoongi shook his head with a small chuckle. He lightly lifted Jimin's hands and then placed each of Jimin's fingers on the right keys. After that Yoongi tried his best to tell Jimin which fingers to press down, but Jimin was having trouble moving his fingers independently.

"I suck at this."

Yoongi smiled, "I was the same when I first started playing. It's natural not to be Mozart your first time touching a piano, Ji."

Jimin rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, "Yeah, okay."

"Give me your hands."

Jimin raised his eyebrows, "What?"

Yoongi looked back at him dead serious, "Trust me. Just give me your hands."

The younger hesitantly held out his hands and Yoongi placed them back on the correct keys. Then Yoongi put his own fingers over each one of Jimin's, and began to slowly press the boy's fingers down. Jimin was extremely flustered by this action but he tried not to let it show as he watched Yoongi move his fingers and play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

Once it was over Yoongi casually laced his right hand with Jimin's left one and stood up. He pulled the boy with him and they went back out to the car. "That wasn't so bad was it?"

Jimin shook his head, "No. I guess not."

Yoongi was still holding his hand when Jimin went to open the passenger door to get in. Yoongi, however, had different plans as he kept the car locked. He softly let go of Jimin's hand.

"Jimin I have something I want to ask you."

Jimin could swear he felt his heart stop right then and there. He slowly let his eyes meet the other man's and Yoongi looked ever so slightly nervous.

"It might be moving to fast for you, but I wanted to know if you would like to be my boyfriend. I guess I've liked you for quite some time now and we've gotten pretty close. Of course you can always say no. Like I said, this might be moving too fast for you so I understand if you do say no."

Jimin waited for Yoongi to finish his mini rant. When he did Jimin smiled softly, "I'd love to Yoongi."

Yoongi seemed surprised at Jimin's answer, "Wait, really?"

"Of course," Jimin said, "Like you said, we've gotten pretty close and I guess you could say that I have a little bit of a crush on you too."

"A crush? I haven't heard that term since middle school," the older joked.

Jimin laughed at him, "Shut up before I change my mind."
