15: Saturday
It was now the very last day of August, which meant tomorrow was Jungkook's birthday. Jimin, yet again, was deprived of seeing his boyfriend all week and he was excited because Jungkook promised that they would see each other tomorrow.
For now Jimin was checking that his reservations were made. He was planning a nice date. The dinner would be expensive, but it was Kookie's favorite place to eat. The rest of the night would be up to whatever Jungkook wanted to do.

Jimin started getting dressed two hours before Jungkook was supposed to come and pick him up. It never actually took him that long but he gave himself the time in case he changed his outfit twenty million times.
His final look turned out to be a plain white t-shirt, black pants, his favorite boots and a blue striped button up Jungkook gave him a while ago. He clipped a cute silver necklace on and even added a few silver rings to his fingers. Jimin felt butterflies tingle his stomach whenever he thought about how tonight could go. All he wanted to do was make Jungkook happy since it was his birthday. When the knock on his door finally came Jimin couldn't have been any happier.
Jungkook stood there, looking oddly nervous, but Jimin didn't notice a thing through the curtain of his excitement. "Hi bunny," Jimin smiled and threw his arms around the taller. Jungkook hugged back but something was a bit different.
Jimin stepped out of his apartment and locked the door, "C'mon we don't wanna be late for the reservation I made or we won't get our seats."
Jungkook stood by Jimin's door while Jimin was already treading down the hallway, "Jimin-."
"Kookie," the boy walked back and grabbed his boyfriend's hand, "Let's go. I'm excited. I know you'll like it."
Jimin dragged the other into the elevator and the ride down to the ground floor was silent. Jimin laced his hand with Jungkook's and pulled him towards the parking lot. Once they were away from any other people the younger planted his feet and stop letting Jimin take him away.
"Jimin I have something I need to tell you," Jungkook said seriously.
Jimin turned around and dropped his hands to his sides, "Okay." Jimin's voice was suddenly soft which made Jungkook slightly nervous to say what he was about to. Jimin was such a sweet and caring person and he didn't deserve this, but it already happened.
"I..." Jungkook took a deep breath, "I can't be with you anymore."
"W-what? You're joking right. Please tell me you're joking."
"No," the younger looked at his feet, "You didn't do anything wrong. It's just- I met someone else."
Jimin sniffed to hold back the waterworks, "O-oh."
"Jimin I want you to know that we never meant to hurt you. It all sort of happened-"
"We?"
"Taehyung and I, Jimin. He's gonna be my boyfriend now. I'm sorry."
Jimin shook his head and wiped his eyes, "It's fine Jungkook. I guess I'll just go back and let you guys have this night together."
The boy first started slowly walking away as Jungkook called his name and many apologies. But as the walls of his brain crushed in on him, Jimin ran. He didn't notice the concerned looks people in the complex lobby were giving him because of the tears rendering him practically blind. He knew the elevator would take too long, so Jimin ran up all five flights of stairs and straight to his apartment without stopping.
Jimin stripped out of all of his clothes and accessories and then put on boxers and his biggest, softest hoodie. Then he curled up in his bed, crying like the little bitch that he felt like. Jimin didn't know what he did wrong. He didn't know why the two people he was closest to would do that to him.
Jimin didn't really understand how he didn't notice. The signs were there the whole time. Tae and Kook disappearing in the middle of the night. Jungkook making excuses as to why he wouldn't be able to come see his boyfriend for yet another night. How could he have been so stupid?
