Quinn POV

It's Monday now and I'm walking into my high school earlier than usual.

I need to ask my biology teacher for the results for my test that I took last week. I forgot to ask when I last saw him. I was too focused on the dance to ask any of my teachers for my tests.

As I walk through the semi empty hallway Monday afternoon, familiar chatter fills my ears.

I look around the hall and see Carly, Erica, Zayn, Tom, and Harry standing by someone's locker. That new girl, well not new, but she's near them talking with a wide smile.

I take my eyes off of them and head to my biology room a few feet away.

~

By the time I leave my classroom, homeroom starts in fifteen minutes. I got an A on my test, but he needed help cleaning beakers and flasks, and I had no problem helping him do that.

When I walk down the hall, I still see the six of them speaking to each other. I didn't know Destiny was friends with them before she moved.

Wait...

My eyes widen as I suddenly stop in my tracks. That's Harry's ex girlfriend. I bite down on my teeth and turn my heel and walk over to the group with the fakest smile on my lips.

I stand beside Harry and all of their eyes go to me. I should pretend that I don't know who she is.

"It's the woman of the hour," Carly jokes. "Everyone is talking about how the winter dance was amazing." She informs me.

"I'm glad everyone had fun." If Harry didn't go, I would've been so bored and alone. I glance to Destiny who's looking at me.

"This is our old friend Destiny." Tom says once no one else spoke.

"We met before the dance started." I tell them. A lingering smile is on my lips.

"Yeah, I forgot." Destiny says with a small chuckle.

Harry rests his hand on my lower back as we speak. I see her eyes glance to his hand that's on my back, which causes me to smirk a little evilly.

"Well, I don't want to interrupt. I just saw you and thought I should make sure your first day back to Liberty High was going alright so far, even though homeroom hasn't started. I'll talk to guys later." I glance to the other five people in a circle.

I walk away and roll my eyes to myself.

Harry POV

Seeing my ex girlfriend is weird.

I haven't spoken to her since she left, and I didn't expect her to be here, today; or in fact ever.

Seeing her sometimes glance at me now, makes me kind of feel sick because we left what we had on an open book. I said if she ever moved back we can fix us.

I don't want to discuss us, or what was us. I wanted to forget about Destiny and whatever we had. Now I have to be reminded of her every day of my senior year.

I was glad Quinn came over to say hello. Maybe she was being a little fake towards my ex, but I didn't mind.

I wish she didn't leave though because having Quinn standing near me is kind of like having my guard dog sometimes. If a girl gives me a look, Quinn instantly makes conversation with her and it's always embarrassing for the opposite party.

So yes, I know my girlfriend is the jealous type. This being said, I don't want to make her jealous with talking to Destiny alone, or ever. Not that I would, but there may be a time we're alone and she wants to talk.

I'm going to try to make sure that doesn't happen.

I end up excusing myself from my friend group, plus Destiny. Her eyes land on me before I walk away, which makes my stomach twist.

Seeing her face in person is different. Destiny cut her hair to her shoulders and she just looks different to me. Well, she is a stranger now.

I find Quinn by her locker. She's wearing a usual dress and today heels. Her brown hair is down and a lingering smile is on her glossy lips. I wish she more, regular clothes to school.

I wrap my arms around her body from behind, and kiss Quinn's cheek. I see her lips curve into a gentle smile by my actions.

"Hi." I say to my girlfriend.

"Hi," She says back to me. I lean in and kiss her cheek again, which makes Quinn laugh, and I smile. "Why aren't you with your friends?"

I stand beside her now as she gets stuff from her locker.

"Because I wanted to be with you," I say which makes her head shake.

"Yeah, okay." Quinn says through a snicker.

"What? How's that hard to believe?" I ask curiously.

"Usually you hangout with them before homeroom, not me, Harry. I mean, if you're uncomfortable with Destiny being around, I'd understand."

Her brown eyes that were on me, go to her locker where she grabs her math binder. Quinn presses her binder against her chest and looks at me after closing the beige door that was open.

"I don't care if she's around, I just wanted to hangout with you before I have to go to homeroom." I say simply. Quinn chuckles my by words.

"I know you too well Harry Styles. We're in a relationship, which means you get to tell me things lurking around your mind. So, your ex girlfriend is back. How do you feel about that?"

"I feel, nothing," I say to my girlfriend who raises her eyebrow at me. "How's your morning going?" I ask, changing the topic.

"Decent." Quinn answers. I see her eyes look next to us, which makes me turn around.

We both see Destiny hugging Joy and Kay. They all have wide smiles and eyes from seeing my ex.

I forgot they were friends...

I turn back around and look to Quinn who is staring. "What are your thoughts?" I ask her.

"I keep negative comments to myself. If I don't, that's how gossip goes around." She tells me in a tense tone. A fake smile goes on her lips.

I snicker at her actions that try to make her seem like a good person. I wrap my arms around her body and kiss the side of her head. She hugs me back and I run my fingers through her hair.

Usually when something upsets Quinn, she just shuts down and blocks everyone out. I can tell that's what she's doing now.

I kiss the top of her head and close my eyes briefly against her hold. I hope she knows nothing will happen to us by having Destiny back.

We break away from our hug and we talk for a little while. My eyes look behind Quinn when I see Richard walking down the hall. I trade spots with her, which makes Quinn's eyebrows knot with confusion. She doesn't question the change, she just goes on and tells me that the Prom fund is nearly covered.

I don't know why she's obsessed with Prom. But, I guess she likes being encharge of running the whole thing. I'd find that very stressful if it were me.

Our conversation runs silent once we see Richard stands near us. His eyes look to Quinn then to me. "Can I talk to you?" He asks her.

Her brown eyes are on her ex, and all I see is fear written on her face. I step in front of Quinn to block the view of her Richard. His eyes roll at my actions. "I didn't know you were her body guard now." He comments.

"You know she will never want to talk to you, so don't ask." I state. I feel her head press against my back which only makes my heart pinch. I wish I could take that memory from her, but I can't, and it kills me.

"I need to talk to her." Richard states.

"You need to walk away." I growl.

"You're mad at the wrong guy. I didn't do anything to her that night." He mumbles to me before he leaves. Richard nudges my shoulder as he walks away.

I turn around and face Quinn who has a blank look written on her face. "Who was it if it wasn't him?" She asks me in a timid voice.

Before I say anything, she takes off walking away with her hand over her mouth.

What a lovely way to start the fucking week.
