Quinn POV
It's been a few weeks since I told Harry about what happened with Richard. Since then we've been good, not like we weren't before. Nothing has really changed besides the fact that we aren't really friends, and more like "dating".
I don't know if "dating" are the words to define us. I know we've been on some dates, like going to the movies, or out to dinner. We do kiss, and hold hands as well. I think that means we're "dating", but I'm not sure.
It's August 10th now and school is coming any moment now. Well, it starts in September, but still. It's close.
I told Joy and Harry and I. She laughed at first because she remembers when I said I would never want to be with one of the boys from the Styles family. But after her laughter, she once again brought up Richard and how much he still loves me. And she also went on and said how I'm kind of downgrading on dating Harry, who isn't popular nor rich.
That made me mad because I didn't ask for her judgement on if she likes him or not.
I'm at home currently. My parents just left for their flights to wherever, but my sister is coming home tomorrow.
My phone beeps beside me and I see it's Harry who texted me. I hit pause on my movie and reach for my phone.
Harry: hey
Harry: i can't make our date because I have to watch my siblings :/
Me: that's fine !
Harry: :/
Me: whats the :/ face for
Harry: I don't wanna watch them
Me: I can help you watch them if you'd like
Me: to keep ya company
Harry: 1 of them is a brat
Harry: he's mean
Me: Chris I assume?
Harry: yep
Me: I don't mind
Harry: come over around 6 then
Harry: don't wear anything nice there is a chance you'll get something stained
Me: okay lmao
Harry: this is going to be fun...
Me: stop it
Harry: :)

Around six I make my way over to Harry house.
I'm wearing jeans and a hoodie. I don't know why, but I'm actually really cold, when it's not at all cold outside. Under my hoodie I have a striped blue and white shirt though, just in case I wanted to take off my jacket at some point.
Harry opens his front door and gives me a smile. "Hello," He says.
"Hi," I say back to him. He opens the door for me to fit in.
"Don't mind the mess, my siblings don't like living in anything clean." He says which makes me chuckle.
"It's fine," I say. When I visited my sister at her college, her dorm room was so filthy. Compared to that, Harry's house is clean.
There are a few socks across the wooden floor, as well as random shirts. Since his house is a split ranch, I assume the living room is downstairs.
"I'll give you a tour," He says. "So uh, the living room is downstairs, and their playroom, is over here." Harry walks me over to the spot that's meant for a show room. There are random lego sets, blocks, balls, kitchen sets, and other things in the space. "That's my sister Alyssa," Harry says.
I see a little girl sitting on the floor playing with dolls. Her eyes glance up at me and she waves. "Hello!" Her peppy voice says.
I smile back at Alyssa and wave back. "Hi," I greet her.
"Alyssa this is Quinn," Harry introduces.
"Hi Quinn!" She says with now dimples on her cheeks. "Is that the girl you like?"
I glance to Harry who has now red cheeks. I chuckle to myself and he just snickers off his embarrassment.
He continues the tour by showing me the kitchen. I see one of his brothers in there. "This is my brother Evan. Evan this is Quinn," Harry introduces.
"Hi." His brother says with a gentle smile.
"Where's Lola?" Harry asks him. His younger brother shrugs his shoulders, causing him to groan.
"Did we lose her again?" Evan asks which makes me widen my eyes a bit.
"No," Harry says. "And we didn't lose her, she was hiding." I can't happen but to chuckle as well as Harry.
We begin to walk away. "Those are bedrooms and a bathroom. If you need to use one, use the one in my room downstairs," He tells me while pointing at the hallway with a dim light
We start walking downstairs. As we do, Harry picks up some toys. "Chris lower down the TV," He tells his other brother.
"No," He says. I see Chris sit up and look over at us. "Who's that?"
"Quinn," Harry replies.
"The rich person next door?" Chris asks, which makes me bite my lip to refrain a chuckle.
"Sure, yeah," I can tell Harry gets annoyed with him by the way they're talking. "Just lower down the TV."
"No," Chris repeats. "You didn't say anything before she came over," My eyes look to Harry who has an already tense jaw.
"Chris, just do it," Harry says with a loud shrug. Chris's eyes roll, but eventually the loud TV is lowered.
"Why is she here? Doesn't she hate us?"
"If she did, why would Quinn be here?" Harry asks.
"I don't know," Chris responds. A smirk crawls on his lips. "Are you guys like dating or something?"
"Why?" He asks. I'm nervous to know where this is going now. By the smirk on Chris's lips and the way he has a little evil look going on, I know he's going to say something to piss of the boy beside me.
"Because I thought you still liked Destiny," I look to Harry who is staring at his little brother with anger. "I do remember you crying for a week about her moving. You even called her and-"
"Shut up Chris," His eyes close.
"What do you not what Quinn to know how much of a pussy you are?" He says with a snicker. I'm taken back from his younger brothers swear.
Harry doesn't respond. Chris just leaves the living room laughing to himself. I can tell that is a weak spot for Harry.
"Anyways," His green eyes roll and he tries to move past his brothers remark. He walks over to a door that's close by. He opens it and my eyes land on two beds. One half of the room is clean, the other one is a bit messy. "This is my room. I share it with Evan."
My eyes scan the bedroom. Harry's bed is made up neatly. But his brothers bed isn't. Some stuffed animals are on Evan's bed, as well as clothes. "Do you like sharing a room?"
"No, but it is what it is," His hand tugs through his curls. "I'm sorry about-"
I cut him off. "Don't. He's just busting your chops." I say with a gentle smile. I kiss Harry's cheek before going back to looking around.
"Oh," He says. I turn around and look at Harry who is now holding a little girl who looks around two. "This is Lola. Chris likes to hide her for some reason." I chuckle.
His younger sister waves at me. I wave back and smile. "Is she the youngest?" I ask.
"Yes. Thank god," Harry says with a slight shrug.
"They all seem like good kids," I say honestly.
"Besides Chris. He's starting to swear now, which I'm sorry you had to hear. We, as me and my parents, have a habit of cursing in front of him," He lets out a sigh.
"Maybe he just wants attention," I come up with. "Usually that's what kids want, and if they don't get it, they act up."
Harry lowers his shoulders and looks back to Lola who is smiling. He kisses her puffy cheek, which makes me grin. We hear something crash, which makes him sigh. "Welcome to my life," He jokes with a sigh.
We leave his bedroom and go upstairs. Harry walks into the kitchen and we see Evan looking down at the broke plates. "What did you do?" He asks his younger brother.
"I wanted to get a plate," Evan answers. My eyes look to the chair he grabbed. It's by the counter, and I assume he stood on top of it to grab the heavy looking plates.
"You could've asked me or Chris," Harry says to his youngest brother.
"I asked Chris. He told me to do it myself," Evan tells him.
There is at least three plates broken. They're across the floor and Harry is grabbing the broom to sweep it up.
"Just ask me next time Bud," He picks up his younger brother and puts him next to me, where there is no glass.
"Am I in trouble?" Evan asks in a lowered voice. "I didn't mean to break them."
"No," Harry answers. "Next time just ask me to get it, okay?"
"Okay." He answers. A gentle smile goes on Evan lips and he looks relieved that he isn't in trouble. His light brown eyes glance up to me. "Are you Haz's new girlfriend?"
"She's a friend of mine Evan," Harry says for us. My heart slightly falls by his answer. I bite my lip and just give a friendly smile to his little brother.
He walks to the playroom where Alyssa is still. Lola is walking about the house, and I assume Chris went to his room.
Harry throws out the broken plates and lets out a sigh. My fingers fidget as he looks at me. I play off my slight disappointment by his answer with a smile. "Having the time of your life, right?" He jokes.
"Very," I snicker softly. "I always wanted younger siblings, so it's different to be around little kids."
"Well, being seventeen and having a two year old sister isn't really the ideal dream," Harry says while picking up Lola who had her arms up in the air, meaning she wanted to be picked up. "But she isn't bad, so it's okay." His green eyes look to his little sister.
I see Alyssa walk over to us. She has a faint smile on her mouth. "What's for dinner?" She asks her older brother.
"Uh," He pauses. "Pasta and sauce."
"We had that last night." She answers.
"You guys need to eat it up before it goes bad," Harry answers. Her brown eyebrow raises at him. "I'll get you McDonalds later, okay? Just eat it," A smile creeps onto her lips and her eyes go bright.
"Thank you Hazza," She says sweetly.
I can tell Harry has a weak spot for his younger sisters. It's cute to see, if I'm being honest.
***
Around eight is when they got ready for bed. Chris went into his room after dinner, so he didn't need to be told to go to bed.
Alyssa and Evan were the ones Harry needed to tuck in and make sure went to bed. Lola fell asleep on her own.
Now it's just the two of us. I'm about to leave since I have to study for my biology test on Monday. "Thanks for hanging out with me while watching my siblings." Harry says as we stand by his front door.
"No problem. I had fun," I admit with a gentle smile.
Harry leans in to kiss me but I move my head away, making him kiss my cheek. His eyebrows furrow by my action and his head tilts. "Why did you move?" He asks me. I remain silent, unable to explain my own reasoning. "Is it because I told Evan we were just friends?"
"No," I respond. Harry looks into my eyes and raises his eyebrow. "Maybe." I change my answer.
"It's hard to explain to a six year old that you're seeing someone but you aren't officially a thing, but more than friends," He says. His arms wrap around my waist. "I didn't mean to offend you."
"Good to know," I murmur. Harry pecks my lips twice which makes me snicker.
"Did you want to go out on Sunday? I'm off from work." He asks me. His hands play with my hair that is down.
"Sure," I say with a gentle smile. "Goodnight Harry."
"Goodnight." His eyes look into mine and he kisses me once more before I leave his house for the night.
