Quinn POV
Harry and I didn't hangout on Tuesday because he got called into work around the time we were supposed to hangout.
I didn't mind, nor would I ever. So, I spent the night at home eating a frozen pizza and watching TV. Also, between all of that I was texting Joy who was free to chat for a while.
It's Saturday now and my parents are home. My sister Faith, is somewhere in California with her boyfriend currently. The only reason why my Dad is back in town is because he needs to make appearances at places in Pennsylvania since he's the Mayer and all. And my Mom has to accompany him since she's his wife.
They're taking me out to the country club on Monday, which shocked me. They both said they'll like to catch up with me. This is very odd because they usually never ask about my well being.
I'm in my bedroom studying for biology currently. My parents are downstairs doing whatever together. Maybe they're acting like a married couple for once, who knows? My textbook is on my mattress and some worksheets are across my bed as well.
My phone is in my hands and I'm texting Joy who is asking me to come over tomorrow to hangout and stuff.
My eyes glance to the top of my screen where I see Harry's contact pop up.
Harry: busy tonight?
Me: no
Me: why?
Harry: be outside at 8
Me: mkay
Me: do i need to bring anything
Harry: yourself
Me: i wanted to leave myself at home though
Harry: ha ha
Harry: see you then
Me: i may be late
Me: my parents are home so i might have to sneak out lmao
Harry: we can hangout another time so you don't have to sneak out
Me: i'm sneaking out of my house to hangout with you , not to party.
Harry: stilllllllllll
Harry: if your parents found out they'd hate me more
Me: stop worrying
Harry: i'll try
Me: see you at 8
Harry: :)))

I managed to leave my house by eight ten. My Dad was downstairs watching TV with my Mom so I had to take my time leaving my house. I also had to make sure not to make a sound or suddenly knock into something.
I see Harry's truck by the curb. His eyes are down at his phone that's on his lap, but he soon looks up once he hears me coming closer to his car. A faint smile goes on his mouth and I sit beside him.
He starts his truck and buckles himself in. "Where are we going?" I ask.
"A place that you know of," Harry describes, which makes me smile. I know where we are going, and I'm still excited to go, as I always am.
I lean my head back on the headrest and listen to the radio that's low as he drives. The car ride is silent, but it's okay. It's a nice silence, but once we get to wherever we hangout at, we talk about whatever comes to mind. It's a good mix if I'm being honest.
I oddly want to know more about Harry. Not about his family, because I think I know a lot about them. I mean, I want to know about him. His interests and stuff. This is odd for me because I'm never curious about this type of thing.
Harry soon parks his truck on the usual hilltop we hangout at. By routine, we get out of his car and sit in the cargo bed of his truck. If we want to look at the stars we'd lay down on here. If we wanted to look at the city, we'd sit on the hood of his car.
We lay besides one another, and my eyes look up at the stars scattered across the black summer sky. It's chilly tonight, but for now it's not too bad. A faint smile is on my mouth while looking at this view. It's beautiful really. My favorite thing will be finding shapes or figures throughout the different stars. It's sometimes difficult, but interesting when you find something.
"How was your day?" Harry asks me.
"It was okay. You?" I ask him. I glance over at Harry who's staring at the sky.
"It was okay," He lets out a small sigh.
"Did you have work?" I ask. My voice is gentle sounding.
"Yep," Harry looks over at me. "The more I work at the Country Club, the more I want to shoot myself." I snicker at his words, which makes him smile. I see shadow's of dimples appear on his cheeks as well.
"Not everyone there is bad," I say.
"Well, I'll wait on the day I serve a kind person." Harry tells me. "What did you do today?"
"Study, get my nails done, I got a hair cut, and took a nap," I list. "I also went online shopping." I add, which makes Harry laugh.
"Anything else?"
"No," I say. "It wasn't that eventful. More like chores."
"Getting your nails done is a chore? I thought it's supposed to be a relaxing thing for girls."
"It's alright. If I go with Joy it's more fun. But when I go alone, it's like I just want it to by fast so I can do something else." I try to explain.
"Why don't you not paint your nails then?" Harry asks me.
"Uh, natural nails on me is ugly." I say. I see his eyes roll by my comment.
"I highly doubt that Quinn." He says.
"Well, you shouldn't. Me having painted nails just makes everything come together. Like my makeup, and clothes. You will never see me without makeup or my nails painted." I inform the boy laying beside me.
"You're wearing makeup now?" His eyes squint at me. "It's eight at night."
"Yes, because I'll look like a tired raccoon otherwise. I'm doing you favor. I did a natural look tonight rather than something I'd wear to school," I say with a gentle smile.
"I'd love to see you without makeup and with natural nails." Harry says through a hum.
"Sucks for you then," I say, which makes him snicker.
My eyes look back up to the stars across the sky and I let out a small sigh. It goes silent between us for a few moments, which is okay. Whenever it's quiet between us, it's never uncomfortable.
"Do you think I know a lot about you?" I hear Harry ask me randomly.
"You know more than most people," I say. "Why?"
"Just curious." He says. His green eyes look back up to the stars.
"What do you want to know?" I ask. He remains silent for a few moments before answering.
"What's your favorite color?" Harry asks, which makes me snicker.
"White because it matches everything I own," I say.
"Fair enough," He agrees. "What's your least favorite color?"
"Hm," I pause, thinking about it. "I don't have one." I say.
"How many boyfriends have you had?" Harry now asks me.
"One." I answer honestly. "How many girlfriends have you had?" I ask him.
"One." His eyes look back to me.
"Does she go to our school?" I ask curiously.
"She did, but she moved," He informs me. I nod, not pushing anything if it's a touchy subject. "Did you want to make a sassy remark about her too?" Harry jokes which makes me nudge him and laugh.
Our laughter's mix for a while before it fades out.
"Quinn?" He asks once it's fallen silent again.
"Yes?" I respond.
"What happened between you and Richard?" His question sinks into my skin and makes my face heat. I know he's been questionable about that. Joy just doesn't push it, but Harry does. I try not to bring Richard up because I just want to forget about him, which is hard.
My fingers fidget on my stomach and I gulp down the lump in my throat. "Will you not say anything to anyone?" I ask Harry timidly.
"I promise," He says while facing me.
I close my eyes for a brief moment. I try to collect my thoughts before telling someone what happened that night.
