Sunset

I've been waiting for Jungkook all day to come to his apartment. He told me he wanted to do something special tonight. I haven't stopped thinking about what it could be since this morning.

I begged him to tell me what the surprise is but he won't.

Jungkook POV.

I've been in the practice room all day learning the new choreography. But I just can't get Y/n out of my head. Especially how I'm going to tell Namjoon.

He'll definitely won't be thrilled.

As practice is finally over for the day. I walk over to all the boys who are huddled together talking about something.

"And she told me she had a boyfriend this morning! Can you believe that." Namjoon says.

"A boyfriend?" Jin questions.

"Who?" I ask curiously.

"Oh maknae I guess you haven't heard. Apparently Y/n has a boy she's been talking to for the past few weeks." Hoseok explains.

Yoongi puts his hand on my back. "I guess there goes your chance with Namjoon's sister."

I frown. Who could this guy be? I mean I haven't seen her text anyone or be with anyone other than me.

I need to find out.

"I need you all to find out who this guy could be!" Namjoon commends us. "I need to know if he's treating my sister right."

We all nod in agreement.

Man I really wanted to take her on our first date tonight.

I frown and think about what I should do.

Maybe I could steal her from that baster. I mean he probably has nothing on me. I'm Jeon Jungkook for crying out load.

I take my phone out full of myself and decide to confront Y/n.

Wow I feel really stupid. I should've seen that coming.

Ah it's a relief she's not talking to someone else. I don't know what I would've done.

I guess I won't have to cancel the date after all.

Y/n POV.

Jungkook told me to be ready by 5pm. I wonder why so early but I don't question it.

It's already almost time for him to pick me up and I'm nowhere being done. I look like an actual mess.

I look in the mirror and examine my appearance.

Let's get to work.

I quickly shower and fix my hair. I stand in front of my closet for what feels like a century deciding what to wear.

I quickly put on something casual and head downstairs. Just as I'm about to grab my phone I hear a knock on my door. I quickly rush over and see Jungkook standing outside holding a bouquet of flowers.

"Aw Jungkook." I say as I take the flowers and give him a peck on the cheek.

I quickly run inside and place the beautiful flowers in a vase and then grab my purse. As I walk to Jungkook he extends his hand and I grab it.

He holds my hands tightly until we're by his car. He opens the door for me and I get in.

When he gets inside curiosity washes over me.

"So... where are we going." I say while putting on my seatbelt.

"I can't tell you it's a surprise." He says shaking his head.

"Pleaseee, ill give you free supply of kisses if you tell me." I say smiling at him.

He side eyes me and laughs. "Tempting, But no it's a surprise. You'll find out when we get there."

I let out a long sign and lean over to turn the radio on so time passes quicker.

We pull up to a parking lot next to the beach.

"Wait... are we going to the beach... at night?" I say jumping up and down in my seat.

Jungkook smirks. "You'll see."

I quickly get out of the car and take off my shoes. I don't hesitate to wait for Jungkook I instantly run toward the ocean.

"Its soooo beautiful" I shout.

I turn around and see Jungkook carrying a blanket with pillows.
I walk over to him and hug him from behind.

"This is so sweet. Thank you." I say and kiss him softly on the lips.

"Namjoon always talks about how his sister is in love with the ocean and sunsets and in general with the sky. So as our first legendary date, I decided to make it special."

I aw and give him another kiss. "You are actually amazing."

As the sun begins to set Jungkook begs me to let him take pictures of me.

"Fine but then I'll take some of you." I say.

We look at the photos and laugh at the silliness.

"I want to post one of these." I say.

"Okay I'll post one too!" Jungkook joins in. "But maybe we should do it on different social media platforms so no one links us together."

"Wow good idea." I say laughting. "Dibs on instagram."

We sit together watching as the starts twinkle above us. I have never been on such a perfect date. It's amazing how someone can make you extremely happy with their actions.

"You know" Jungkook begins. "I usually don't fall for someone fast but for you I'm falling in head first."

I look over at him and smile. He takes my hand and kisses it.

"I know this might not be romantic and I know we haven't known each-other for a long time. But I've never wanted to get to know someone as much as you." He pauses and takes a big breathe. "Would you be my girlfriend?"

I'm taken by surprise. I look over at him with my mouth open. Is this real? I'm not dreaming right?

"Promise you won't break my heart?" I say.

"Promise." He says and kisses me softly.

I break the kiss and finally answer his question.

"Then....

Yes"
