"Hey, Deaton, how the hell did she get through the mountain ash?" Stiles asked.

"I don't know. It's a barrier no supernatural creature should be able to cross"

"Scott did it" Stiles pointed out.

"Once. But it almost killed me"

"We should have killed her!" Malia exclaimed angrily.

"Meanwhile, she's probably on her way to kill someone else" Stiles huffed.

"Listen everyone, we need to concentrate. Scott and Malia you two will probably be able to move long before Stiles, Kara and I can. But you need to focus" Deaton commanded.

"Focus on what?" Malia asked, panic evident in her voice.

"Healing" Scott said.

"That's right" Deaton added.

"I don't know how to tell my body to heal!"

"Malia calm down it's okay" Stiles reassured.

"I can't calm down, I can't move!"

"Mals, It won't last long, you're gonna be okay" I promised.

"Doc how do we focus?" Scott questioned.

"Think of a body part. Your hands, your feet? Even just the tips of your fingers. Imagine them moving. See it in your mind and your body will follow"

I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to vision the tips of my finger moving.

I still felt nothing.

"Okay" Stiles spoke up after a while. "I'm pretty sure I just felt my right leg move" he let out a grunt. "Yep definitely felt it. Like a twinge, spasm. Something"

I rolled my eyes.

"I'm gonna have to disagree. I think I hold an informed opinion" Deaton said.

"Malia?" Scott suddenly asked.

Fuck, why did I have to fall with my back to them?

"I don't think she cut me that deep"

"Keep going. Keep moving" Deaton encouraged.

"What's happening I can't see?" Stiles asked.

"Yeah, me neither" I added.

I heard Malia's yells of pain and determination and I silently cheered her on.

"What's happening? Malia?" Stiles said worriedly. "Malia wait for us"

"There's no time" she argued.

"Look she's not a werewolf" Stiles reminded.

"But she has a scent. I can find her"

"Malia" Scott said. "Save her"
