Titles
We'll be going over some basics first such as titles, covers, and blurbs. It may seem redundant but the basics are always important. You can't build a temple without bricks (or whatever it is you'd like to build a temple with). But first, titles.
Titles are just as important when it comes to drawing a person in. Some long titles work with the right blurb, the right story, and the right cover. But a lot of times, the simpler the better.
Always try to think of words that describe your story, or maybe your main character. What is their goal? How are they developing? What mindset are they in? How do they see the world around them? Continuously ask yourself questions; when you've found the right title, you'll know.
"So, a title like "The Horrible Life of a Teen" would be a fair length. I personally recommend titles in the "(insert adjective) (insert noun)" format, like "Cocky Idiots" or others like that. Along with the "(noun) and (noun)" format like for my stories "Cattle and Fodder" and "Stitches and Mutilation". Overall, when making a title, don't be freakishly long and don't go for one-word titles. Be sure to be as creative as possible when making one and be unique. Possibly search up the title you have in mind on wattpad and see how many others use the same or similar titles."

Like Cannibalistic said, a good way to make sure you've come up with something uniquely yours: search it. One well-known book is bound to show up and that's fine. There are millions of books out there. But if five or six pop up, it's probably better to pass. Otherwise, your book might get confused more often than not with someone else's novel.
A big thing on Wattpad was/is: (fill in the blank) Bad Boy.
You can simply type in bad boy and get all the books you'll ever want about them but it'll be hard to differentiate between them when you go to your library and want to start a specific one first.
Something to try, and is free and available to everyone, is a name generator or more accurately here, a title generator.
https://www.fantasynamegenerators.com/title-names.php
Zoriey has used this site numerous times for character names (Rise of the Old Gods), her fantasy novels (not on Wattpad), and more. This site had everything you need, though we don't recommend just straight-out using whatever title you're given.
This is meant as more of a base to spark off of. It'll offer words that maybe you hadn't thought of and could contemplate.
Now say you're writing a series... a fantasy series. It's obviously got to have it's series name, right? Some authors base it off their first novel title like The Throne of Glass series. Some others base it off what the story is about like The Shadowhunter Chronicles which contains five series, one of which is The Mortal Instruments.
The title isn't City of Bones: The Mortal Instruments. It's just City of Bones. Adding the rest to it can make it too long and appear tedious to read. Adding it to your cover is fine. After all, it is a part of your work. Add it to your blurb, as well. But for the main title, the words people will search to find your work, just use that book's title.
