hiding behind a booth with their heads peeked out just to stalk a specific couple, yangyang had never felt so lost in his entire life. he wondered how on earth he had got himself to stand here and join these two in eyeing at a couple during their date.

oh, right, he remembers now. it all started with him happily and peacefully working for his part time job but then, here comes renjun and donghyuck barging inside just to drag him out. lucky for him, the manager was kind enough to give him a time off and thus explains as to why he looked like he is joining the two.

❝you know,❞ yangyang started, being the only one not peeking his head out just to see what the couple are doing. ❝that guy chenle is with seems like a nice person, how about we—❞

❝we don't know what he can possibly do to our lele.❞ says the one who gave everyone the idea of chenle's omega needing the pure blooded during his spontaneous heat cycle.

nodding his head, renjun was agreeing with what the tanned male had said. ❝he might drag our baby dolphin away and do something to him in the dark.❞ as if he didn't trust the pure blooded at all when he left him with chenle.

hearing the two made yangyang furrow his brows and had his face scrunched, taking a short glance at the specific couple they were eyeing on only to get confused as to why these two were having trust issues. ❝they look like innocent kids that just wants to have fun.❞ he stated after observing the two and just watching them buy snacks from food booths and pointing at rides they planned to try.

❝yang,❞ the tanned male turned around and slowly placed a hand on the younger's shoulder, looking like he was ready to convince him. ❝they are far from being innocent.❞

yangyang didn't need to be oriented more as to what he meant. the information was already enough to make him turn red. what did the couple ever do to make both renjun and donghyuck conclude that they were far from the word innocent? shaking his head, the omega let out a sigh before removing the tanned male's hand on his shoulder. ❝how do you two even know they'd be here at an amusement park?❞

❝easy.❞ renjun spoke, taking his eyes off the couple and turned to face the younger. he pulled his phone out and showed yangyang the conversation he had with chenle the day before. ❝blackmailed him into telling us.❞

❝woah,❞ the omega let out a nervous chuckle as he gave the two a look. ❝you guys are scary.❞

dipping his phone back inside his pocket, the smaller male only passed him a smile. ❝expect us to be like this when you go on a date with that alpha and that beta.❞

❝which, it won't ever happen.❞ yangyang said while rolling his eyes.

just as renjun was about to push the topic further and tease the life out of his friend, donghyuck's screech was heard that immediately caught their attention. both of them turned their heads to the tanned male who had his eyes everywhere, more likely looking for something or someone, until it finally landed on them.

❝why?❞ renjun questioned.

❝we lost them!❞ donghyuck raised his voice in panic.

yangyang was holding back a laugh, finding them funny at how they were overreacting. also, he was happy that they did finally lost them. in that case, they can enjoy their time being here and not waste their tickets in getting inside the amusement park. ❝i guess we just have to go and enjoy—❞

❝we have to find them!❞ the smaller male suggested.

his suggestion made yangyang's smile disappear. ❝let's leave them alone.❞

❝yes, let's do that!❞ donghyuck nodded his head.

blinking his eyes, ❝leave them alone?❞ the omega wanted to make sure that they were agreeing on the same chapter.

❝find them!❞ both the determined omega said in chorus, looking at yangyang to see if he was up with their idea.

shaking his head, the youngest of the three showed them a small smile. ❝i'll just catch up with you guys.❞ he was given a day off by his manager, not to mention that he was already here at the amusement park, might as well have fun. ❝let me just buy snacks over there.❞

they knew yangyang wasn't up for it, they can't also force him. nodding their head, ❝call us if you ever get lost.❞ donghyuck said.

❝anyways, we'll make sure that we won't get far.❞ renjun told him.

yangyang doubts that they surely won't go that far. seeing that the couple they were stalking can't be seen anywhere, these two were probably willing to go to the other side of this amusement park just to look for them. but he nodded his head nonetheless, letting them know that he understood. ❝would you guys want anything?❞

❝chips!❞

❝cotton candy!❞

the omega chuckled. ❝got it. see you!❞ he finally then excused himself from joining them and started to roam around the booths.

there were a lot of interesting booths he had passed by but he was looking for a hotdog stand, craving for it just now. of course, he won't forget about what the two wanted, he just wants to prioritize himself first. it has been a while since he treated himself out in an amusement park, might as well make the most out of it now that he's here.

he didn't mind being alone, it's much more better than joining renjun and donghyuck in finding out what the couple are doing. he personally thinks that there's nothing wrong with them but then again, it's not like he knew the whole story.

stopping his tracks, yangyang's eyes then sparkled upon seeing a hotdog stand. what ruined his mood though was seeing a lot of people lining up. he had no choice, his stomach was already grumbling. he quickly walked over there and joined the line, patiently waiting for it to move.

when it was finally his turn, he pulled out his wallet and was about to pay for the food but someone had cut him off from even saying his thanks to the man behind the stand.

❝i'll pay for this cutie right here.❞

yangyang stood there dumbfounded for a moment before he gathered the courage to see who owned the voice. ❝no, it's fine.❞

he clearly doesn't know the guy but catching his scent, he could tell that it was some beta.

❝i insist.❞ yangyang didn't find anything wrong with letting the man pay for him but his eyes widened when he felt his arm snaking around his waist.

scoffing, he looked away and tried to compose himself. ❝i have money with me—❞

❝i'll pay for him.❞

turning around, the omega felt his breathing hitch upon seeing a familiar face. the last time he had seen him was when he and his boyfriend brought him to his house, ever since then they haven't seen each other to his disappointment. but now that he had seen him, he couldn't be more happy.

the beta let out a laugh, eyeing down the smaller male. ❝a pip-squeak like you?❞

❝excuse me, but i don't remember giving you the right to call me that.❞ yangyang could remember him being called as xiaojun, making him wonder where his boyfriend is and why it looked like he was alone around here. watching the beta walk towards them, the omega flinched when he felt the arm around his waist being harshly pulled away. ❝try me.❞

❝you're getting on my nerves.❞ the man said, moving closer to xiaojun.

were they going to fight? xiaojun looked like he was in a disadvantage here with the man looking buff. whining internally, yangyang couldn't help but cry mentally as all he wanted was to buy hotdogs for himself.

the moment when the man was about to make the first move, a hand was placed on his shoulder that made him flinch from his place. even both xiaojun and yangyang had their eyes widened at who just came for them.

taking a step closer, the alpha then whispered to the beta's ear. ❝touch them and i'll make sure you'd be seeing hell the next second.❞

the beta gulped upon getting the frightening scent of an alpha. the man then tried to squirm away from his tight hold on his shoulder and took a quick bow of apology, scurrying away the next moment. the man didn't even bother taking a look back and just continued to run away till he wasn't seen by them anymore.

❝why are you here?❞ that was the first thing yangyang had asked instead of a thanks for coming to his rescue.

❝i was looking for him.❞ the alpha said, pointing a finger at the beta who's puffing his cheeks and crossing his arms.

❝i got lost,❞ xiaojun simply answered. ❝then i found him.❞

yangyang could then remember them being at the same school that a specific omega was bold enough to go to. it then made him question all of a sudden, ❝are you guys here for chenle?❞

meanwhile, these two omegas had no idea what was going on with yangyang right at this moment. their goal was to find the couple they have been looking for. minutes had already passed by and they saw no trails of them. renjun paused for a moment and groaned in annoyance, already this near to giving up. donghyuck still had some strength left in him into finding them but since the smaller omega looked tired, he stopped his tracks for them to rest for a while.

❝i think yangyang was right.❞ renjun said while being in the middle of catching his breath. the amusement park they were in was damn large, it might be impossible for them to fight the couple with all of the people around. ❝we should let them be.❞

thinking about it, donghyuck pressed his lips into a thin line. ❝jisung did look like he had no plans on doing anything to chenle.❞

❝we really are just over thinking.❞

the tanned male laughed at his statement, finding it as a fact. they really just care for their friend that they can't help but think to much of what's going to happen to him. ❝but where's yangyang?❞

squinting his eyes, that's a good question. ❝he did say he's going to buy snacks. he might just be around there—❞

"do you think xiaojun and hendery went this way?"

"i don't know. i looked away to see if we were still following jisung and when i looked back, they were gone."

both the omega froze from their place, but renjun was panicking the most, the moment they had stumbled upon two familiar alphas with one being a pure blooded. donghyuck, being a great friend he is, didn't hesitate to place a hand on his friend's back and pushed him a little bit with too much force that the small omega almost bumped to one of them.

❝hey, jaemin! jeno!❞ the tanned male greeted as if he hadn't just done anything to the omega.

but it was as if donghyuck was nothing but air for them, all their attention was on the small omega in front of them that had his head lowered as he had no courage to look up. it was till then they spoke at the same time that it made the omega look up. ❝nice to see you, renjun.❞

being dramatic as always, donghyuck placed a hand on his chest and clutched his shirt. he made a pained face and looked like he was about to cry any minute from now. ❝i feel so neglected.❞

the two alphas were actually here, supposedly together with xiaojun and hendery but they were gone from their sights, to follow jisung on his date with his omega. they could see how excited the pure blooded was upon telling them that he had a date with chenle, which made them think that following him would be a great idea to tease him after their date.

seems like their purpose of being there soon changed upon seeing the small omega here.

❝are you guys busy?❞ jeno asked, looking up and just seeing the tanned male looking like he was in a drama.

knowing what donghyuck would answer, renjun took this chance to speak first. ❝we are—❞

❝not!❞ but of course, donghyuck would always beat him to it. the tanned omega then collected himself and cleared his throat, giving his friend a glare for almost missing an opportunity. ❝we're completely available!❞

with a smile, jaemin then asked them out. ❝would you guys want to try the rides here?❞

they didn't have to say it but donghyuck could tell that it's only renjun they are really inviting. the omega seemed dense to know that though, renjun turned around and gave his friend a look as if he was calling out for help. getting the signal, donghyuck gave him a reassuring nod. ❝renjun would like to ride you guys!❞

the omega being mentioned then had his jaw dropped, feeling his whole pride and reputation breaking down to small tiny pieces.

it took donghyuck another second to realize what he had just said and how much renjun looked like he was going to kill him. taking a step back, the tanned male immediately raised his hands to defend himself from the small omega before he quickly rephrased his words to clear misunderstandings. ❝i m-mean, he would definitely like to try the rides with you!❞

although, donghyuck knew the first one was still correct.

jeno then tilted his head to the side, ❝don't you want to go with us, donghyuck?❞

renjun hoped and prayed for the gods above that the tanned male won't ditch him and leave him alone with the two.

but looks like he wished the impossible.

❝hello, love?❞ looking at donghyuck, he was already having his phone pressed on his ear looking like he was in a call with someone. ❝you're here? that's great! i'll meet you at the entrance, then.❞

the small omega had no idea how happy the two alphas were as they could see how much donghyuck was doing just to leave the three of them alone.

passing his friend a sheepish smile, donghyuck had to reject them politely. ❝sorry, my boyfriend is here.❞

❝hyuck—❞

❝bye, renjun!❞ the tanned male started to walk away, but not disappearing before he could give the omega a teasing wink. ❝hope you have fun riding them— trying the rides with them!❞

renjun puffed his cheeks as he watched the tanned male walk away and as he turned back to face the two alphas, he took a step back with his eyes widening at how dangerously close the their faces were with his. he also noticed the smiles on their faces which the omega couldn't deny about how attractive they look.

maybe yangyang was also right during the last time, he might have hit the jackpot in this.

❝are you ready to try the rides?❞

chenle let out his usual high pitched laugh as he watched the tall male beside him holding his hand real tight and shouting incoherent words, along with curses, as the ride dropped down. he didn't know how he got to convince jisung in trying the gyro drop with him, but he let him try it anyways. the omega said that it was much more bearable than the rollercoaster they had seen which the pure blooded disagrees badly, no ride is safe around here.

after for what felt like a whole hour, the ride was already over and jisung stumbled back after he got down. the older quickly took his arm and guided him out of there, walking over the nearest bench to place him there.

❝ji?❞ chenle called out, running a hand through his hair and wiped the sweat from his forehead. ❝hey.❞

he was turning pale. the shorter male started to grow guilty for letting him tag along in trying the ride.

❝i'm sorry for letting you go with me.❞ the omega had no problems with the rides here at the amusement park. he even had tried half of them already with jisung just watching him. then there comes the gyro drop where chenle wanted to bring the younger with him.

❝it's okay.❞ jisung took a deep breath, leaning his head back and placed a hand to cover his eyes once he was getting dizzier than ever. ❝i agreed to it anyways.❞

❝but still, i shouldn't have forced you.❞ fixing his hair, chenle used his thumb to wipe the tears that reached the pure blooded's cheeks. ❝you're crying.❞

getting hold of the older's hand, the taller male intertwined their fingers. he then removed his arm from his eyes and continued to cry looking at the omega. ❝it was scary.❞

cooing, chenle got himself seated right next to the pure blooded and let him rest his head down on to his shoulder. snuggling close, jisung used the opportunity to bury his face on to the older's neck. ❝let's not try any rides anymore.❞

❝but what about you?❞ even though he was not fond of heart dropping and soul escaping rides, jisung still wanted for the omega to enjoy. he knew how he loved the rides and that it was what he anticipated the most in this date of theirs.

lifting his hand up just to play with the younger's hair, the omega let out a chuckle. ❝i already told you the moment we step foot here.❞ he said. ❝i'm fine with anywhere as long as i'm with you.❞

wrapping his arms around the omega's waist, jisung found a comfortable position as he hugged the shorter male on the side. he wanted to stay in that position for a while as he was in the middle of collecting himself from the first and probably the last ride he'd ever try here.

❝do you have anything to try here?❞ this time, chenle planned to do what jisung wanted to do.

staying silent for a good second, jisung now had a smirk on his face. he pulled away from the hug and chenle furrowed his brows at him, questioning his expression. it was as if the pure blooded didn't cry because of the drop a while ago.

❝now that you question it, there is something i would like to try.❞
