❝ah!❞ jisung hissed in pain as he leaned his head back. ❝don't put too much pressure on it!❞

clicking his tongue, chenle ignored what he said and continued to put more pressure at the certain bruise on to the younger's jaw. jisung groaned and took hold of the omega's wrist to stop him from treating the bruises he got from the punches that yukhei gave him. the shorter stared at the pure blooded with his brows furrowed and lips frowning. ❝that's what you get for starting a fight.❞

❝you're seriously getting mad at me for beating up your boyfriend for cheating!?❞ the pure blooded scoffed, letting go of the omega's wrist. ❝gee, you're welcome.❞

they were now inside jisung's shared room with jeno. lucky for them, the pure blooded's roommate is out which gave them the room all for themselves. chenle surprisingly found a first aid kit at one of the cabinets by the living area and was nice enough to treat this pure blooded's bruises and cuts that he gained from the fight he had with his cousin.

and jisung kept on complaining at how much it hurts when chenle was just doing his best to treat the bruises.

❝and now you're silent?❞ jisung raised a brow while crossing his arms. the older wanted to ignore him and just finish treating his bruises but the pure blooded, that's seated on the bed, leaned back to dodge the cotton which the omega was about to use. ❝have you finally realized that your boyfriend is a—❞

❝jisung,❞ the omega wasn't having any of what the younger had to say. he was frustrated at how much trouble jisung had cause. he harshly cupped the pure blooded's chin and made him stay still. ❝just shut up.❞

with the omega's face so close to his, jisung could only glare at him. the older was acting superior but the pure blooded didn't even try to scare him off even thought he had the choice to. he just let chenle clean his bruise and decided not to speak for a while after seeing that chenle wasn't in the mood to listen to him.

but that didn't stop jisung from saying anything the moment chenle had to put the things back inside the kit.

❝chenle, can't you see that i'm just doing you a favor? why does it look like this is my fault?❞ he made some hand gestures to show how confused he was by the older's treatment towards him. ❝i just don't want you to get hurt, okay? i do admit that i had broke your heart and that probably ripped your world into pieces but this is the present we are talking about. as someone who, i don't know if i'm considered as a friend, cares for you, i'm just trying to—❞

❝yukhei is not my boyfriend!❞ finally he had said it.

he couldn't actually find the point in saying that. it looked like jisung didn't care at all up until now when he had caused a scene with yukhei and even scared of his cousin's omega.

❝he was just toying with you, i didn't expect you to be bothered by it.❞ chenle stressfully ran a hand through his hair before carrying the kit and walking over to the living area to place it back. ❝you even scared a mated omega, jisung!❞

the younger's eyes widened at what chenle had just told him. ❝i scared.. who?❞

❝fuck, nevermind.❞ chenle buried his face down to his palms as he thought of a way to solve this problem knowing that his cousin must be suffering right now. rubbing his face, chenle turned to face jisung and caught him smiling at a very wrong time. ❝why are you smiling?❞

the pure blooded then blinked his eyes in the most innocent way he could before shrugging and looking away at the omega who's upset. ❝i'm not smiling.❞

of course it was an obvious lie. jisung just couldn't contain to curve his lips up when the omega had said that the alpha wasn't his boyfriend. he couldn't point it out but something inside him sparked upon knowing the truth. but the smile was then replaced with a confused frown.

❝wait, so who is this yukhei guy?❞

❝he's my cousin!❞ chenle answered, getting pressed up at the fact that jisung is more worried as to who the guy is rather than being guilty for scaring his cousin's omega.

not wanting to own up his mistake, jisung sat there with a look on. ❝then both of you are at fault for lying to me.❞

is this guy serious? chenle's jaw dropped at what jisung said. ❝how would we know you'd make a move on it!?❞

the shorter kept on raising his voice at him which jisung wasn't liking anymore. ❝you should know because i'm your boyfriend!❞

the pure blooded now stood up as he towered over the omega that had his head raised up at him, still not losing at whatever fight they were having. but then, it just registered to the both of their heads about what jisung had just shouted. the pure blooded then coughed and cleared his throat before he decided to correct himself to get them out of this awkward situation.

❝i w-was your boyfriend.❞ he grumbled, going to his bed and sat back down with his arms crossed. ❝you should know what i'd do.❞

even chenle was taken by surprise by the pure blooded's words. ❝y-you should own up your mistake.❞

❝what?❞ the younger's head snapped quickly towards the omega. ❝i did nothing wrong—❞

❝you broke mates apart!❞ the omega cuts him off, stating what he had done wrong. ❝now, you are going to fix them back.❞

the younger huffed and complained inside his head about not knowing that they were mates in the first place. he was clouded with fighting for chenle's defense to even catch the scent of a mated omega. ❝but you also had done something wrong.❞

chenle stared at him in disbelief. ❝i did not.❞

❝you did too!❞ jisung glared at the omega who stayed in his ground and wasn't a slight bit fazed at how threatening he looked right now. ❝you lied to me about your relationship with yukhei when you two are just cousins.❞

it wasn't even chenle who lied, it was his cousin who just surprised him by telling jisung that. but chenle just went along with it guessing that the pure blooded won't do anything, he guessed wrong. ❝so what if i lied?❞

❝we are going to fix them!❞ jisung nodded his head like a kid who had answered the most hardest problem in the test.

the omega groaned internally as he didn't want to take part of this but then it would be a bad idea leaving jisung alone in this. that pre blooded is stupid enough not to catch a mated omega's scent and just scare the omega like that. ❝fine.❞

a smile made its way to jisung's lips as he concluded himself victorious. ❝alright, so—❞

❝but there's no we.❞ chenle stared up at jisung, expressionless. ❝we broke up already.❞

the younger rolled his eyes at the omega who just had to rub on his face that they were already over. ❝okay fine, you and i.❞

by fixing them together, chenle didn't know it would be hard. he spent the whole week talking to yukhei and explaining to him what had happened. he also apologized in jisung's behalf but the alpha listened to none of his words. the whole week went on with chenle being ignored by his cousin. even though yukhei would stay in the same table as him during lunch break, the alpha wouldn't spare him a glance nor give him a glance. he'd just talk to either xiaojun or hendery.

jisung wasn't even trying. the omega always pushes him to talk to yukhei but the pure blooded would just chicken out the last minute. day passed by and he did grow guilty for ruining the mates' relationship. he couldn't make out an apology and even if he could, he couldn't find the courage to talk to yukhei. chenle was very much disappointed by him but knowing jisung so much, he had already expected less from him. although, jisung did find where yukhei's mate was working and that's a good thing for the both of them.

❝stop using my head as your armrest!❞

and now, they were at the mall where jisung had caught the alpha's mate working at. they were hiding behind a large pillar while checking out at a jewelry shop, eyeing on a specific omega who looked fine even though he had a fight with his mate. they found it suspicious but shrugged it off and reminded themselves that they were there to fix yukhei's relationship with his omega.

and jisung just had to use chenle's head as his armrest whenever they peek at their hiding spot.

❝so,❞ chenle pushed jisung back before facing him and now fully hiding behind the pillar. ❝i heard hendery ge and yukhei ge talking about coming to this jewelry shop today.❞

lucky for them, it was a weekend. both chenle and jisung had the whole day as a chance to put back what they had separated.

jisung gave the shorter a look. ❝why would he come today?❞

❝you ask me.❞ the omega shrugged, glacing at the shop for a good second before turning back to jisung who found his action adorable but he had to stay focused and not show that smile on his face. ❝but when he goes inside, we should hurry up and show up in front of them.❞

❝then what?❞

❝then we explain everything, what else?❞ the omega had said as if it was the most obvious thing they should do.

standing there for a couple of seconds, jisung let out a sound that the omega can't even describe what it is. ❝that's the best idea you can think of?❞

❝okay mr. smartass, what is your plan?❞ crossing his arms with a brow raised in anticipation, chenle passed the taller male a look.

coughing for the thrill, jisung cracked his knuckles and stretched his neck. the omega judged him for taking so much time in just saying his oh-so-great plan. ❝i go in and kidnap his mate—❞

❝what the heck!?❞

❝—and that would alarm him surely, making him go all protective mode.❞ he still continued to explain even with chenle's violent reaction. ❝when that happens, we explain to them everything quickly.❞

❝good lord.❞ chenle facepalmed so hard that the sound of a skin slapping was heard at a distance. the pure blooded puckered his lower lip at how the omega reacted to his plan that took him a while to think of. ❝we are doing it my way.❞

❝then you should be the one doing this! why bother dragging me along?❞ jisung huffed, upset that the omega wasn't taking consideration of his great plan.

❝because you ruined them in the first place!❞

❝only because you two lied to me!❞

❝again, how would we know that—❞ the omega gasped and didn't get to finish his sentence when he was suddenly dragged by the pure blooded as he ran with his long legs. poor chenle, he couldn't catch up but jisung was dragging him to fast that it looked like he was floating. ❝hey!❞

❝you were busy talking, you didn't see your cousin get inside the shop.❞ the pure blooded stated, eyes on the way while slowing down for chenle to keep up.

the two run hand in hand, not even knowing how it happened, and got inside the jewelry shop being breathless. the two of them paused for a short while to catch their breaths before approaching the mates that are surprised to see them just right around the place. chenle was having a hard time breathing from running thus giving him a problem in speaking while pointing a finger at the mates that were standing by each other.

jisung, who wasn't in his right mind from running that fast, still insisted that his plan was great. he rushed towards where the omega is and quickly pulled him close, wrapping his arm around his neck.

the problem is, it was the wrong omega.

❝j-ji.. sung..❞ chenle coughed, voice not clear from being choked. ❝y-you shit!❞

the pure blooded screeched when he saw that it was his omega— chenle that he had planned to kidnap and not yukhei's omega. he immediately lets go and received a smack by the arm coming from the coughing omega. ❝sorry..❞

chenle kept on hitting the taller male as he rubbed his other hand on his neck, regaining the air he had loss. after doing so, he threatened to hit jisung very hard but stopped when it hit him as to what they were doing there.

tearing his attention from the pure blooded, chenle had his eyes sparkled at his cousin who flinched when he suddenly screamed his name. ❝yukhei ge!❞

❝c-chenle?❞

with tears welling up from his eyes, this was something the omega knew his cousin would be able to resist. ❝ge, i'm really sorry for what jisung had done to you and to your mate. he's just stupid and—❞

jisung cleared his throat. ❝you two lied.❞ he said in between his coughs, reminding the shorter male who was just in the mood to be emotional but of course, the pure blooded alpha just had to destroy it.

the alpha's mate just stood there, dumbfounded at the two, and planned to do nothing but was then nudged by the male beside him. blinking, jungwoo had just caught the situation they were in. he quickly moved away from yukhei and pointed a finger at chenle. ❝lucas, is this the omega?❞

also not knowing what to do, yukhei licked his lower lip and just gathered his shameless self to not be obvious. ❝w-woo, you got it wrong. he's not—❞

❝right!❞ chenle blocked his cousin from his mate's view and took an apologetic bow. ❝i'm just his cousin and this guy right here just had to fall for the lie that yukhei ge had made up.❞

knowing that made jungwoo raise a brow at the now panicked yukhei. later on, he turned to the pure blooded that had the guts to just hit his mate. ❝and why would you react that way?❞

jisung was taken aback by the question. the omega had a point, why would he react that way? he didn't hesitate to just punch yukhei when he had saw him kissing someone. he just didn't want for chenle to get cheated on or to be heartbroken. well, that was before he found out that this alpha was just his cousin.

chenle widened his eyes after knowing what jisung would say. he stood up properly and thought of a reason that his cousin's mate would believe. if the pure blooded would admit that he's his past then a lot of questions will follow after.

❝i'm just his—❞

❝boyfriend!❞ chenle walked over to the taller male and held his hand, intertwining their finger together. the sudden action caused for jisung to widen his eyes and also feel heat rising up to his cheeks. ❝he's an overprotective and jealous boyfriend of mine! he was just pissed when my cousin lied to him.❞

hoping that jungwoo would buy it.

jealous boyfriend? jisung's inner self scoffed. he's just an average boyfriend, he definitely won't go jealous to the point that he'd go and destroy a vacuum cleaner.

❝lucas?❞ jungwoo turned to his mate who was also speechless at what the two were doing.

clearing his throat, yukhei nodded his head at the omega and faced the two. ❝can you leave jungwoo and i alone? i'll tell him everything.❞

this time, chenle was genuinely worried that the tears he had just forced to come out a while ago came rushing down now. he didn't want to ruin his cousin's relationship and he was afraid that they might have worsen the situation. ❝is everything going to be alright?❞

yukhei gave his cousin a small smile, walking over him and wiped the tears using his thumb. he then passed him a nod to reassure him that he had done nothing wrong. ❝go and take your boyfriend outside.❞

scanning his eyes at the jewelry shop, it was surprising to know that there were no people but just staffs who just witnessed everything. cheeks heating up, chenle tightened his grip on jisung's hand and went outside of the shop. he turned around to check one more time only to see his cousin cupping his mate's face and leaning down to settle a soft kiss on his lips.

pulling away, jungwoo looked up at yukhei with a pout. ❝did i do well?❞

chuckling, yukhei went to pinch his omega's cheeks. ❝i hope we got them together.❞

so basically, they didn't fight in the first place. it was just one of yukhei's risk-taking plans for jisung to make a move. although, their fight wasn't part of the plan but after this happening, maybe it was all worth it.

chenle heaved a sigh and stared straight at the pure blooded that's now standing in front of him. ❝do you think we got them together?❞

neither of the two didn't even notice their hands still holding each other.

jisung went to eye the jewelry shop and could see the two laughing about something. with that, the taller male just nodded his head. ❝i think we fixed them.❞

the omega lowered his head and couldn't have more relieved to know that even though they had messed up their plan as to how they are going to bring yukhei and his mate together, they still managed to find a solution to the problem.

well, none of them knew what both the alpha and his mate were up to.

❝how about us?❞

with a questionable expression, chenle raised his head up and just realized the two of them still holding hands when jisung squeezed his hand tight. the omega just stared at the pure blooded's eyes and he could see his gaze softening as he was looking down at him.

but chenle was snapped out from adoring the younger's eyes the moment a question came out from his mouth.

❝can we fix us?❞
