immediately standing up from their seats, both chenle and jisung didn't get to have the time to explain it all to kun and just rushed out of the ice cream parlor. chenle's eyes widened as soon as he saw the small figure being held by an alpha, which the omega guessed, that is one of jisung's friends. he had his feet run fun towards them with jisung following from behind. the omega crouched down in front of the small figure and felt his throat being clogged and tears welling up from his eyes.

❝ge?❞ the omega shook the body of his friend gently. ❝renjun ge..❞

jisung had his fist clenched when he saw the omega looking like he was about to cry any minute. he could feel his chest getting heavy seeing chenle looking so vulnerable in that state and he couldn't find something that he could do about it. ❝what happened?❞

the other pure blooded alpha heaved out a sigh, fanning the face of the unconscious omega. ❝he bumped me and then suddenly passed out.❞

nodding his head, jisung stared over to the alpha that's having the unconscious omega in his arms. his brows then furrowed at the stain on the alpha's shirt. ❝jaemin hyung, what happened to you?❞

raising his head up to look at the younger, ❝ice cream kinda spilled on me when i went to catch him from falling.❞ jaemin said with a small smile.

shaking the omega that had his eyes closed, chenle sat there on the ground looking worried as hell. he listened to them while still having his focus on renjun who's looking safe in the alpha's arms and also being calmed down by the pure blooded's scent. he had an idea as to why renjun passed out but he didn't want to conclude things as he wasn't sure of it.

"renjun!"

upon hearing the omega's name being called, they all turned their heads towards a specific direction and chenle could see a familiar tanned male running towards them together with his alpha trailing from behind. chenle had never felt so relieved once he had saw them because honestly, he doesn't know what on earth he should do in this situation.

he stood up and was about to greet the tanned male with a hug but was stopped when he saw the other omega glaring at the pure blooded who's standing right beside him.

❝donghyuck hyung?❞ the omega was shaking subtly the moment he saw the other looking like he was about to do something.

❝chenle?❞ but donghyuck's eyes didn't last long and quickly went over to the taller male that chenle was with, having his fists clenched upon seeing that familiar face. ❝you asshole! you still have the guts to be with chenle after leaving him like that—❞

❝love,❞ lucky for jisung, donghyuck's boyfriend was there to hold him back from punching at the pure blooded who looked confused as ever. ❝calm down.❞

❝calm down!?❞ the tanned male squirmed under his boyfriend's hold. ❝are you seriously telling me to calm down, mark, when chenle's dumbass of an ex-boyfriend is there—❞

❝lee donghyuck.❞

the omega widened his eyes when his boyfriend's voice went octaves deeper, clearly using his alpha's voice to put him to a halt. mark didn't want to do it but he knew there was no other way to stop donghyuck from getting into a fight unless he'd show dominance over him. whimpering, donghyuck then felt mark's grip loosen and was now comforting him, mumbling a lot of apologies for using his voice on him.

chenle gulped at the almost possibility of donghyuck ripping jisung apart and showing no mercy. despite of him being an omega, chenle very well knew that donghyuck can get aggressive if he wants to. turning to the pure blooded beside him, chenle's worried eyes stayed at jisung who looked away with full guilt.

but that wasn't the case there. their purpose for being there was because of the small figure that's now unconscious on jaemin's arms. jeno crouched down in front of him and brushed the omega's hair that's sticking on to his forehead. it then caught chenle's attention and he was getting all worried at his friend's state.

❝what happened to renjun ge?❞ chenle managed to say out despite of the tension between them.

still comforting his boyfriend, mark took the honors to speak. ❝we went to the mall together but he suddenly ran away.❞ and if mark was worried, what more can donghyuck be when it's literally his bestfriend.

once he felt himself all composed, donghyuck took a deep breath before his boyfriend had finally lets go of him. the omega then took this chance to walk over to the unconscious omega and eyes the two alphas, with one being a pure blooded, and reminded himself to be careful around them. ❝he passed out.❞

❝hyung, do you think renjun ge is..❞

burying his head down to his palms, donghyuck didn't feel like answering chenle as it looked like he knew what was happening to the unconscious omega. ❝we need to bring him home.❞

chenle watched donghyuck standing up, ❝what about his parents hyung?❞

❝they have work. they'll be back late in evening so we have to take care of him till then.❞ the tanned male said. he was about to take his friend from the alpha's arms but he was then being threatened by the alpha the moment he touched renjun's hand.

mark's teeth gritted and ran over to them, bringing his boyfriend behind him and glaring at the alpha who is making donghyuck shake in fear. jeno, being a protective boyfriend he is, stood up and blocked jaemin from mark's view and took his superiority to top over the mere alpha who's sending daggers at his boyfriend who's carrying the omega.

chenle didn't get to catch up to the situation but he got worried when he saw jeno trying to win over mark who's growling at him. ❝mark hyung—❞

the alpha and the pure blooded now had their eyes on the omega who spoke and unintentionally had scared the younger. chenle hugged his arm and took a step back away from them, still feeling their gazes on him. he felt small under their stares and not to mention how they were frightening him.

in a blink of an eye, chenle then could see that he way was blocked by a tall male and as he stared up he found out that it was jisung. with a shaky hand, chenle raised it up and clutched on to the pure blooded's shirt as he released his pheromones to calm jisung down.

❝if you two are going to fight, leave chenle out of it!❞ jisung raised his voice at the two, feeling his blood boil when he saw both jeno and mark scaring the poor omega. ❝unless you want me to join this—❞

❝jisung, it's alright.❞ chenle buried his head on to the pure blooded's back to hold him from making a move on the other two. chenle knew they didn't mean to scare him, it was also his fault for getting in the way of the two.

with a sigh, jaemin stood up with renjun in his arms and went behind jeno. he carefully carried the omega up like he was carrying a baby and walked right next to jeno, passing an apologetic look to mark who is still protecting his omega that is hiding from behind. ❝i'm sorry if i scared him.❞

jisung's eyes then went to mark and saw the alpha finally collecting himself and composing down. he mentally slapped his forehead with the palm of his hand as he didn't expect for their meet up to be like this. heck, he didn't even know they would all meet. ❝you know what? let's just bring renjun hyung home.❞

donghyuck nodded, gathering the courage to show up behind mark but looked away as he didn't want to face either of the two alphas that's getting greedy of his friend. ❝chenle, can you buy renjun's food?❞

❝it's the usual of what he craves, right hyung?❞ the omega asked, peeking his head from behind jisung's tall figure.

donghyuck gave him a small nod, turning towards his unconscious omega friend that's now being carried by the alpha who threatened him when he went to touch him. ❝i won't get him from the both of you but i'll take you to where he lives.❞

he knew it wasn't the time but he already made a mental note to tease the life out of renjun about having two alphas wrapped around him once he wakes up.

❝i'll go with you.❞ jisung then took hold of chenle's hand and it immediately caught donghyuck's attention.

❝no you won't!❞ the tanned male pointed a finger at the pure blooded that's right beside chenle. ❝who knows what you are going to—❞

❝love, chenle needs an alpha with him.❞ mark clicked his tongue at how donghyuck can get too overprotective towards his friends at times that he would even risk his life into talking back to an alpha for it. ❝jisung, don't do anything to him or i'll personally dig a grave for you.❞

the tall male wasn't threatened at what mark had said but he had his eyes at donghyuck who looked like he'll kill him if he founds out about chenle getting a scratch along the way. ❝y-yeah.❞

as jisung was being scolded by the tanned male omega, jaemin widened his eyes when he felt the arms wrapped around his neck being tightened. looking down, jaemin couldn't hold back a smile once he heard tiny snores coming from the omega that he was carrying. he could guess that he gained consciousness but just decided to take a nap.

❝jaemin?❞ the alpha's boyfriend called out as he noticed the male being in his own world.

with eyes sparkling, jaemin showed a pout to him in hopes that he'd give in. ❝jeno, can we keep him?❞

in the end, both chenle and jisung had to skip their classes in the afternoon as they spent it being with renjun and looking after him. chenle insisted to stay but donghyuck had to be like a mother to him and scold him about having to attend school the next day. well, if renjun would have been awake then he, too, would scold chenle and ask him to go back to his dorm. that caused the omega to sulk the whole after because of how jisung's friends, jaemin and jeno, were allowed to stay yet he wasn't.

both he and jisung were making their way towards the dorms and chenle was just thankful that he had an alpha with him at this night. jisung noticed a lot was occupying the shorter's head which is why he decided that it was better not to speak and just give chenle some space to think.

although, after a long explanation from donghyuck a while ago, he couldn't help but have the urge to ask. ❝does it hurt that much when omegas are in their heat?❞

that question made chenle snap out from his pile of thoughts, feeling his cheeks all flushed just because of what the pure blooded is questioning. ❝i-it depends.. i guess it d-does when they d-don't have their a-alphas with them.❞

lucky for those omega's who have their mated alpha with them, they can deal their problems together. as for chenle, who belonged to no alpha, he had to suffer his cycle all by himself and not to mention how it hurts him so much for always craving a touch of a specific pure blooded alpha.

widening his eyes, jisung had his steps paused and snapped his head towards the omega that's once again preoccupied. ❝does it hurt you?❞

guilt was eating him up as he could remember that very day that he left this omega.

shaking his hand, not knowing why he's even trying to convince jisung, chenle shook his head and gave him a reassuring smile. ❝i c-can deal m-my own cycle.❞

❝you have an alpha to help you with that?❞ jisung didn't even know how his mood suddenly turned dark as he asked chenle that question. he couldn't bear the thought of chenle being dealt with an alpha other than him.

it made him angry and it was shown by how tight he was clenching his fists.

❝i lock myself inside the room!❞ chenle buried his head down to his hands as he continued to walk, leaving jisung there who is somehow relieved upon knowing that. ❝god, why are we even talking about this?❞

chenle didn't even want to get to the point as to what he'll do inside his room during his heat cycle.

getting inside the building, jisung shrugged as the two continued to walk by the lobby. the pure blooded then did the honors to pressing the button for the elevator and lucky for them, the lift was empty. the got inside with jisung pressing their floor number and chenle staying silent as he was still flustered about their topic a while ago.

it will still take them a while before they'd reach to their floor which jisung quickly thought of something to break the awkward tension between them.

❝do you also pass out like renjun hyung?❞ the taller male still brought back their topic.

but that only made chenle frown. ❝no, it's because i don't take pills like him.❞ he told jisung, making the pure blooded mentally sigh in relief but also grow worried for the omega that was unconscious hours ago. ❝he didn't want to feel the need of wanting an alpha with him.❞

❝but jeno hyung and jaemin hyung are with him.❞ the pure blooded said. ❝maybe he'll change his mind about it.❞

❝i don't really know.❞ but it looked like jisung was right. chenle didn't say anything about it a while ago when they were at renjun's house but he could see how worried jeno and jaemin were towards the omega. they even begged donghyuck that they would stay with the omega and check up on him, leave them to take care of him.

it looked like donghyuck had also noticed it since he just let the two stay without saying anything.

❝w-what about you?❞ jisung groaned internally, not keeping all the questions for himself and just had to ask it out loud.

❝about me?❞

he felt the shorter's eyes on him which is why he looked away to hide the faint red tint on his cheeks. ❝do you have an alpha in mind?❞

what is he talking about, of course chenle has an alpha in mind. he already has a boyfriend for god's sake.

❝a-actually, i'm s-sorry if i a-asked—❞

❝i do.❞ chenle answered.

jisung honestly didn't know what to feel at that moment but one thing is for sure, he could hear his heart breaking to pieces. the pure blooded alpha only showed a bitter smile and after that neither of them spoke. they only waited till they'd reach their floor just to escape the awkward tension between them.

chenle hoped that he hadn't said something wrong because he noticed the pure blooded's aura change after his answer.

with a ding, the two stepped out at the same time, still not saying a word, and walking straight towards their room. chenle heaved a loud sigh as he was getting ready for his long explanation to his roommate that is probably worried for his whereabouts right now.

jisung was the first one to stop by his shared room with jeno, lifting up his mood by telling himself that he had the whole room for himself because that other pure blooded is at the omega's house.

just as jisung was about to unlock the door with the key he is holding, he froze from his place when he heard a noise coming from chenle's room. slowly turning his head to the side, he could see the omega standing there looking traumatized at what he had just heard inside.

"right t-there.. ahh! s-slow.. fuck.. hmm.."

"sshh xiao, you wouldn't want the whole school to hear you singing, would you?"

"mm.. h-hah.."

taking steps back, chenle had dropped his keys as he didn't expect for xiaojun to be doing it inside their shared room. with wobbly legs, chenle bent down and took the keys that he dropped.

he hoped that they weren't doing it in his bed.

but where would he sleep right now? he didn't want to barge inside and disturb the two neither did he want to see them doing it.

he was busy with his thoughts to even notice jisung standing there just looking at him with eyes filled of worry. chenle blinked and faced jisung whom he thought that he had went inside his room already.

he showed the taller male a nervous smile, tucking the keys back inside his pocket. ❝i guess i'll have to go back to renjun ge's house.❞ he chuckled, rubbing his napes.

the voices inside his room still haunting him even though they were not that loud anymore right at that moment.

opening his shared room with jeno, jisung licked his lower lip and gathered the guts to say the words that made his throat itch.

❝do you want to sleep with me?❞
