on the way to his first class;

jisung could feel the headache as he took the time in the world walking towards a specific classroom. he actually expected for him to be at least a minute late when he could see the students disappearing from the hallways but seeing two specific people outside reassured him that he still had so much time.

but that doesn't mean he liked what he saw.

❝ge, you don't really need to walk me to my class.❞ the small figure let out a chuckle as he rubbed his nape, looking up at the tall alpha who's smiling down at him.

ruffling his hair, yukhei playfully clicked his tongue. ❝but i want to make sure you're safe.❞

chenle had his arms crossed and brow raised at his cousin in front of him. ❝i somehow don't believe in that.❞

❝and maybe,❞ the tall alpha leaned down with a smirk on his face, making sure the position looked scandalous in some aspects but he's just actually whispering something on the omega's ear. ❝teach your ex-boyfriend a lesson.❞

the pure blooded stood there as he gripped on to his bag real tight, not hearing what they were talking about but he had his blood boiling seeing the scene unfold in front of him. he tried to take deep breaths to compose himself from getting people's attention, and getting an hour of scolding by the chairman of the school, but his body betrayed him and immediately approached them.

brushing his tongue inside his inner cheek, jisung had his eyes clouded with fury as he used both his hands in pushing the two of them away from each other.

it caught the two by surprise but the tall alpha had a wide grin when he saw who pushed them away. meanwhile, chenle had his eyes widened while having his body leaned back. he actually thought he'd stumble back but someone had caught him quickly, it was jisung. the short male blinked his eyes at the pure blooded before feeling the younger's arms sliding away from his waist.

❝i don't remember the door being made just to be blocked by people.❞ jisung said, catching the students' attention inside the room. the pure blooded then turned to the alpha on his other side and just saw him having his hands inside his pocket casually.

not glancing at the omega, jisung clicked his tongue and went inside the classroom, leaving the both of them outside. yukhei was biting his lower lip from laughing loudly, although he couldn't deny that jisung pushed him a little bit to hard and it actually hurts. chenle gulped as he didn't expect to be greeted that way, not knowing what to do at that moment.

❝are you just going to stand there?❞ the pure blooded's voice then echoed inside the quiet classroom, making chenle flinch as he was just by the doorway spacing out.

❝i-i'm coming.❞ chenle turned around and pushed his chuckling cousin away.

during recess;

❝four years!?❞

taking his needed books outside his locker, jisung slammed it with a loud thud that made an innocent student beside him shake in fear. quickly grabbing his things, the student scurried off the moment jisung glared down at her. his eyes followed at the terrified student before settling on a specific pair that made him clutched on to his books really tight.

❝why do you have to be so loud?❞ chenle covered his ears with his hands, giving the alpha beside him a look.

yukhei clicked his tongue at the younger's question. ❝we're related, what are you saying?❞

heaving out a sigh, chenle dropped his hand and showed a pout. ❝i have a lot of suppressants to block my scent so it's not a problem.❞ he made sure to lower the volume of his voice enough for his cousin to hear.

but yukhei just had to be one loud ass. ❝it'll be a problem if you overdose!❞ huffing, the alpha was reconsidering letting his little cousin survive the school year here.

with his voice raised a little bit too loud that it made the other alphas look at them. chenle scooted closer to his cousin and yukhei only gave each on of the students who were looking at them. putting a halt in his tracks, making chenle also do so, yukhei crossed his arms and gave the students a look.

❝overdose by my love because i get too possessive!❞ he was internally gagging at what he had said but then again, it was the only thing that came inside his head.

jisung heard that loud and clear despite being at a far distance and he could clearly see the students looking at them. it made him scoff, they surely love attention. with his eyes sending daggers at the certain pair, he didn't notice himself already scaring other alphas that's passing by him. he cared less anyways so he didn't bother paying attention to them.

because his eyes were only on the two, or a specific small figure whose hand is now being held by the alpha.

he then heard himself growl at how the smaller's hand fit not so perfectly, in his perspective, on the alpha's hold. like what he instinctively had done during his first class, his feet moved on his own and caught up with the two who were walking peacefully with smiles on their faces.

he got so pissed seeing that.

❝i believe,❞ he used one of the books he's carrying to slice their hands away from each other. ❝that you two are getting in the way.❞

with that clueless look on, chenle held his own hand that was forced to let go his cousin's large ones. he then raised his head up and had his eyes trailing on the pure blooded that just went pass by in the middle of them. the omega's eyes went to his cousin after and just saw him having that weird smile on his face.

❝you know, i also think we're getting in the way.❞ saying that, chenle moved a distance away from yukhei who raised a brow at his actions.

the alpha then rolled his eyes at how dense the smaller male was. there's obviously a lot of space to walk beside them, it was so obvious that the pure blooded alpha purposely just went in between them to just separate the two of them. yet, chenle was too dense to notice it.

and finally when lunch break came;

with a full mouth, jaemin raised his head up and stared at the pure blooded in front of him. ❝poor little spoon.❞

jeno followed to where his boyfriend was looking and saw the younger beside him gripping on to the spoon really tight to the point that it bended. he then went to find the culprit as to who caused jisung to be in a bad mood and there he saw a small figure at a specific figure laughing along with three other students with one beside him being all so clingy.

taking a bite of his lunch, jeno nodded his head. ❝so that's why.❞

jaemin didn't take look to catch up as to what jeno meant and couldn't help but snort from his place. he then leaned forward to the younger and took a piece of meat, raising it up to the younger who's frown couldn't get any more deeper. ❝jisung, say ah..❞

turning his head towards the alpha in front of him, jisung parted his lips and ate the meat on jaemin's chopsticks, munching on it with a grumpy attitude. jaemin let out a chuckle at how adorable jisung is while eating and jeno was simply smiling and admiring his boyfriend who's satisfied after feeding jisung.

gulping, jisung took his bottle of water and chugged it down. he then place it with a loud thud on the table, making the nearby students flinch. both jaemin and jeno just gave them a look and that was all it took for them to mind their business.

❝you know what?❞ jisung started, the two not knowing how much he was holding back from looking at a specific direction. ❝we broke up, i am nothing to him anymore and that goes the same for him to me. also, he has already found someone new!❞

jeno nodded his head, listening to the younger's rant while jaemin keeps on feeding his angry baby.

while being fed, he still continued to talk even with cheeks puffed. ❝if i let this affect me then all those years of trying to move on would be a waste!❞ his ego self was agreeing with every single word he said but a small part in his chest wasn't. ❝if he can find someone new then why can't i?❞

❝an airplane, jisung.❞ jaemin said, cutting the younger off from his rants. jisung eyed the spoonful of his lunch which jaemin is raising in the air. jeno laughed at how his boyfriend still babying the younger despite of him being in a bad mood.

jisung opened his mouth wide and let munched the food with his cheeks still puffing but that didn't stop him from talking. ❝i don't need him at all!❞

❝yeah, keep on telling yourself that.❞ jeno told him, bringing up a table napkin and wiped the sauce at the tip of the younger's lips. ❝because i know your heart says otherwise.❞

shaking his head aggressively, jisung pointed a finger on his chest where his heart is located. ❝it is telling me that i don't need him anymore and i should find someone new.❞

❝is it really?❞

❝it is!❞

and on the other table, chenle laughed at how his cousin was imitating some teachers whenever they were mad. seems like he didn't need to introduce yukhei to xiaojun and hendery anymore since they knew him already. well, hendery knew him and xiaojun got to know yukhei from his boyfriend.

❝hey, yukhei..❞ hendery leaned to the table with his head tilted to the side. ❝what is this rumor i'm hearing about you and chenle?❞

it seems like it wasn't the right time to drink water. xiaojun almost choked as he heard that from hendery, ❝you and chenle are together!?❞

the two turned to each other with disgusted faces and acted like they were going to vomit about what the two were thinking about them. the couple found their reactions and expressions at the news very odd. it was then they knew why when chenle broke the silence between them.

❝he's my cousin.❞ the youngest said, placing a hand on top of the taller's shoulder.

yukhei nodded his head, leaning towards the couple that's sitting in front of them just to whisper. surprisingly for chenle, his cousin actually knows how to whisper. ❝i'm just making his ex-boyfriend jealous.❞

and it was the second time for xiaojun to choke on his water. coughing, he felt hendery's hand rubbing gentle circles behind his back. ❝chenle, you have an ex here?❞ he then squinted his eyes at the youngest who's laughing nervously. ❝and you didn't even bother telling me?❞

looking away with his lips puckered, chenle avoided their gazes. ❝i didn't even know he goes here.❞ and neither did he expect for him to be staying at the room right next to theirs.

remembering what had happened this morning then made the omega slouch on his seat as he had his head lowered, covering his cheeks that were heating up. seems like the pure blooded's body was taking over his head and he can't just erase it somehow. and also, he would be lying if seeing that sight didn't make his heart stop beating.

❝wait, who's his ex?❞ hendery asked, getting curious.

❝what's his name again?❞ yukhei nudged the male beside him that's blushing madly. ❝chenle?❞

❝j-jisung park.❞

❝jisung park!?❞ hendery actually forgot for a moment that they weren't alone inside the cafeteria. he then looked around and saw all eyes on them, even at a specific table where the male he had made mention was sitting at. he gulped down and scooted closer to xiaojun, wrapping his arm on his boyfriend's waist. ❝that pure blooded alpha?❞

hendery had been in this institution for quite a while now that he knew what goes on. everyone that goes here are alphas but what made it unique is the pure blooded ones that brings the name of the school. remembering about the past, hendery shivered at the rumor of one pure blooded alpha killing a student just because of a joke that he took seriously. he didn't know who it was, the pure blooded had already graduated for all he knows, but after that incident, hendery knew not to mess with a pure blooded.

and yet, yukhei was doing it right now.

xiaojun was chill about it since he doesn't know much about that person aside from knowing that he is pure blooded, just as what his boyfriend mentioned. ❝i am just relieved that you are not cheating on jungwoo.❞

chenle's brows then furrowed. ❝jungwoo?❞

❝oh, it's your cousin's boyfriend.❞ xiaojun said with a smile, turning to yukhei only to see him shaking his head and making some hand gestures which he didn't understand. ❝we'd meet once in a while whenever we go to the mall.❞

turning to his cousin, chenle had a frown on. ❝you have a boyfriend?❞

leaning down towards the omega, ❝yeah, and—❞ but he didn't get to finish his explanation when chenle cuts him off.

❝and you didn't even tell me?❞

whispering, ❝you didn't even tell me about running away.❞ he told the younger and making sure that it wad only him that had heard it.

standing up, chenle glared down at yukhei before walking away from their table. he didn't even know why he was mad about it but the two promised to never keep secrets from each other. he even told yukhei about his relationship with jisung, it was the alpha's fault as to why he forgot about it. chenle then continued to walk out till he finally left the cafeteria, not bothering to look at the three who called out his name.

and jisung saw that clearly.

both jaemin and jeno stared at each other with questionable looks before looking back at jisung who know had a smile on his face. the younger's mood quickly changed that it made them question if he was going through mensungstruation.

noticing their attention on him, jisung took a piece of meat on the alpha's tray and raised it up till the alpha's lips with a bright smile on his face. ❝jaemin hyung, ahh..❞

he was suddenly in a good mood and he didn't know how it scared both jaemin and jeno.

he may not admit it but jisung felt giddy when he had gotten the chance to sit next to the omega for the classes in the afternoon. the two may haven't exchanged words but being right beside him made jisung feel contented already.

he didn't know why but it just made him feel a lot of things.

and now, last subject had came where they have to change to their p.e. uniforms. chenle stood up from his seat and took a shirt out from his bag, about to leave just to change at one of the restrooms but was stopped by the taller male beside him who suddenly spoke after hours of being seated beside each other.

❝didn't know your size is extra large.❞ the pure blooded said, eyeing on the shirt that chenle was holding.

he had a lot of questions in mind like, why is he talking to him? but chenle shrugged it off and replied as he didn't want to look rude. ❝yukhei ge let me borrow his.❞

chenle had his eyes rolled when he remembered that alpha forcing him to wear his extra p.e. shirt since they'd be sweating in that subject and that could possibly let others find his scent out. he reassured the alpha that he won't be even moving around a lot but yukhei just had to take his own pair of uniform so he won't have a choice but to wear his.

hearing the name then made jisung's brow twitch. ❝aren't you two fighting?❞

the omega raised his head and turned to look at jisung, wondering why he had thought of that. was it because of what happened during lunch break? ❝oh, about that, we just talked things out.❞

and to think jisung's happiness would last forever. it seems like it only lasted few hours. talked things out? that made jisung scoff mentally. when he was in a relationship with chenle, he'd have to bring this omega to a parlor shop and buy all ice cream for him and also buy dozens of macaroons just to have him accept his apology whenever they fight. but with that alpha, they just talked things out?

jisung couldn't accept this bullshittery.

❝you could have asked for mine.❞ jisung mumbled under his breath, opening his bag and getting a glimpse of two shirts.

he brought an extra with him for personal purposes.

not hearing a word he just said, chenle tilted his head to the side. ❝hm, jisung?❞

opening his mouth to save himself from this situation, jisung was cut off by a voice coming from a student that came running inside the classroom they were in. the two's head turned towards the student and she looked like she had been running a marathon.

❝chenle, you were called by the chairman.❞ she said, standing there as she took a deep breath to catch her breath.

pointing at himself, chenle heaved out a sigh. he then left his bag with his p.e. uniform by the desk and went out together with the student, not looking back at jisung.

the pure blooded alpha stood there in silence until chenle's figure disappeared from his sight.

his eyes then went down at the shirt outside the omega's bag before diverting it to the extra shirt he brought with him. clicking his tongue, ❝i can't believe i'm doing this.❞ he said before doing something that he knew the omega wouldn't like.
