Once I stepped through the doorway, I'm pulled from the doorframe.

"Chloe, I know it's your birthday today but you have school come 7 in the morning. Just know that what I said earlier counts, NO FUCKING COPS! I don't care who you make friends with, but if you're anything like me you already made a few enemies and met up with a few friends. Also tell Mark Lee, that the part he ordered from me is ready."

I hugged my daughter one more time, stuffed 4 wads of cash in her hand, and walked out the front door.

I didn't care, I rushed after her. I lunged and hugged her from behind, "I missed you mum, love you, and thanks for the cash. Jinnie's lil dog V stole my money."

I pried her arms from around me, "He did? Did he? Come let's go collect! NO ONE AND I MEAN NO ONE TAKES SHIT FROM US KIMS! Move your ass Chloë, let your mum show you no one fucks with us."

I grabbed my keys, I hopped my ride when a bike pulled up next to me identical to mine only it was pearl white. I revved my engine signaling I'd follow.

I watched my mum haul ass, not caring about the traffic lights or cops. I watch the familiar blue and red flash but one look from mum, had them turn the other way. My mouth was going up and down like a fish, I couldn't believe she deflected the cops. Shit, if I had that power is being in heaven. I'd have to ask her how that was possible until I pulled up to her ride I saw the sheriff's star on her windshield.

My mom is 5-0, just great. I saw the back of her tail lights where her license said retired. Damn, that's why they don't dare pull her over.

I didn't notice but we pulled up in a nice ritzy area, I watched mum pull out a bullhorn from the undercarriage.

"Kim, TAEHYUNG GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE NOW!!"

I've never seen anyone move so quickly, I heard a very loud thump and a few things crash as I watch 7 boys come out of the three-story house looking like they got ran over by a semi.

I watched as the guy from yesterday stands straight in front of my mum, "You have 5 seconds to give your little cousin back all her money, that you stole from her yesterday."

I was gobsmacked, boxy smile stood to shake in his Gucci socks.

"WHAT THE FUCK?! YOU'RE MY COUSIN?! GREAT HAPPY FUCKING BIRTHDAY TO ME TO GET JACKED BY MY OWN COUSIN."

I hauled mum back from slapping him, "Mum, forget it's just cash. It's not like, he stole my puppy. I can always get a job or something."

In my head though, I was thinking of hooking up with Kai and finding some stupid asses to race with.

"Chloë, that was the money your father gave you!"

"You've got to be kidding me, that asshole never gave a shit about me. He only cared if I got good grades and I wasn't out causing any trouble. Granted, that was money I worked for but that's not the point. Just let it go, next time which I know there won't be. Ask me? I'll happily give it to you, it won't be a problem unless I don't have it though."

I looked a wad out, I pulled his hand from his side, "it's my birthday and I give this to you. Don't spend all in one place, I'll see ya, I've got school to get ready for."

"Hey, Chloë? Which ride did you get? Maybe we could match up?"

"No way in hell Jinnie, call up Mark and Kai. Maybe they'll tell you!"

Great in 5 hours I've got school, no not high school worse college.
