Before anything could happen, the doors burst open to reveal a crowd of people who were ready to dance. "Let's get this party started!" it was a chaotic and high atmosphere as the blasted music was almost deafening and the lights were blinding, the manor shaking while people danced and others doing god knows what in dark corners.

Draco was on the dance floor with (y/n), watching her dance and jump around to the loud music and he yelps as she pulls him close to her. He grins happily and dances with her, spinning her around and picking her up while the music washed over them. It was almost euphoric as the strobing lights seemed to slow down, his heart beating rapidly against the music shaking his body as his eyes focused only on the girl before him. The way her hair bounced and her parted lips screamed out the words, her eyes shining brightly with so much life and happiness.

She's so beautiful.

Draco was in awe of (y/n), in awe of how she was so happy and so full of life like this. She took every moment to the fullest and he took the chance to pull her close. Her eyes widen as she looked up at him, people dancing and the lights streaming when he leaned down to kiss her. They were in their own little world, holding each other tight as the music surrounded them both and sparks energised their bodies.

"LUCIUS IS COMING!" someone suddenly screamed out and everyone panicked as they apparated back home or ran out to their broomsticks leaving Draco and (y/n) looking at each other with worry.

"Shit!" She quickly waves her hands when everyone was gone, her powers sweeping over the entire house to revert it back to normal including her boyfriend's clothes.

"(y/n) you can't stay here!" Draco panics, pulling her to the fireplace.

"But-"

"-please trust me on this." he holds (y/n)'s face gently and she could see the fear in his eyes. "I want you with me here so bad but not with him around. He will hurt you and I can't let that happen. I have to lock your bedroom so he doesn't get suspicious. I will call you when everything is ok."

"Ok..."

"Please be safe." she nods, revelling in how her boyfriend kisses her forehead, his lips against her head for a few seconds longer before he hesitantly leans back. She grabs a handful of Floo powder, thinking of the one safe place as she throws it down.

"Hogwarts!"

"Shit! Where am I supposed to go!?" (y/n) grumbles lowly, panicking as she looked around the eerily deserted hallways of her school. She was dropped randomly inside Hogwarts, one of the classrooms having a fireplace she quickly walked out of. If she didn't find a place to stay and quick, Draco's dad would find her room of all her belongings and he would get in trouble because of her. She paced in a line three times, trying to figure out what to do when a door suddenly appeared on the wall next to her.

What the hell...?

There was something about this door that intrigued her and she moves to open it, furrowing her brows in confusion when she steps into her bedroom at the Malfoy Manor. "How...?" the door closes behind her and she quickly opens it, expecting to be back at the Manor but she was met with the Hogwarts Hallways. "This definitely wasn't here before. What is this room?" She closes the door again, turning around to see a single letter sitting on her bed and she went over to read it. It explained that she was currently using the Room of Requirement and what it was. "So it appears to those who desperately need it? Oh, thank you for helping me." she mumbles out, unsure if the sentient room could hear her but she jumps when a doll falls on her bed. She picks it up warily, pulling on the string.

"You're welcome!"

She smiles hearing the automated voice, sitting the doll back on her bed. "If you don't mind, can I stay here until I find another place?" she calls out, flinching when a newspaper drops on her head and falls to the floor before she picks it up to read it. "'You can stay here for as long as you want but the Room of Requirement can not be used multiple times at a go.' Multiple times? Oh, like multiple rooms at the same time? Makes sense I guess. So if someone else was in here for whatever, I can't get into my room."

(y/n) nods, content with finding a safe place and she snaps her fingers as every single one of her belongings appeared before her, including everything Narcissa gave her. She couldn't risk leaving it in her old bedroom. Her phone suddenly rings and she jumps to pick it up recognising the number.

"(y/n)?"

"Draco!" the boy lets out a huge sigh of relief, falling onto his bed when he heard his girlfriend's voice.

"Thank Merlin you're ok. I was so worried!"

"I'm ok. I found a place in Hogwarts where no one will find me."

"Really?"

"Yep! It's called the Room of Requirement!"

"Sounds amazing. I'm just glad you're safe."

"Are you ok?" (y/n) asks, worried for her boyfriend when he sighs out.

"I am. I just got scared. I unlocked your bedroom door after father talked to me and I saw everything was gone. It was empty of all your belongings!"

"I couldn't risk it. I had to move everything here. I can always move it back after we're in the clear." that's where Draco's frown deepened and his girlfriend picked up on the uneasy silence. "Draco?"

"Father is staying home. Taking a sabbatical from the Ministry for some reason. He wouldn't tell me why."

"So I can't go back home?" the Slytherin shakes his head sadly hearing his Puff's soft voice, gripping his arms painfully tight.

"I'm sorry (y/n)-"

"-no, I get it. I understand Draco. It's ok."

But I want you here with me...

"We're just going back to how things were before. It's not that different ya know. Me in my apartment and calling you every day." (y/n) smiles warily knowing she was going to miss being with Draco. "Let's talk tomorrow ok. I'm sure you have things to do now that your father is back. I don't want you getting in trouble because of me."

"(y/n)-"

"-see you soon back at school for the new year Draco." the boy sighs, nodding in defeat.

"See you soon at school (y/n)." he waits until the call ends, just hearing the beeping of the phone until he put the receiver back. He moves to hide it under the floorboards beneath his bed before walking out of his room and walking into his girlfriend's. He hated how empty it was. Draco heads to the bed and climbs in under the blankets, instantly comforted by the sweet honey and floral scent that still lingered on the fabric.

It still smells like her...

He held a pillow, blurring his face against it and closes his eyes to trick himself into thinking she was there with him right now.

(y/n) on the other end put the receiver back and sets her phone down on the bedside table next to her, grabbing her walkman to put on as she lays in her bed. The music drowned out the silence that was choking her, closing her eyes to pretend she was still with Draco but she knew she wasn't.

She didn't want to be alone again...

"I'm so bored!" (Y/n) exclaims to Harry who snickers lightly, amused as she runs her hands down her face.

No, they weren't talking over the phone like they have been doing every week since the two kids had no one to talk to except for each other, they were actually together at a playground sitting on swing sets. The Hufflepuff was getting sick of staying indoors and decided to fly around for a bit, get used to using her powers again and she thought to visit her friend. The Gryffindor was ecstatic to get a visit, feeling much better now that he was away from his cruel aunt and uncle.

"Yeah, there's not much you can do here."

"It's almost as if it's deserted! Why is it so hot!?" (Y/n) fans her face, holding her umbrella to block off the sun around her. She hated the heat, more specifically she hated burning. Harry just laughs as she curls beneath her umbrella to hide which he thought was adorable.

"I told you getting ice creams would be a good idea."

"What is a better idea would be getting a damn ice bath!"

"Well, we do have a public swimming pool-"

"-yes!" (Y/n) grabs Harry's hand and turns them both invisible after she checked that no one was around, the boy yelping as he and the girl flew off towards the pool. The Gryffindor told the Hufflepuff the directions to the pool, them flying in without paying and landing behind a wall to reappear.

"Wait, what about swimmers-" Harry as (y/n)'s powers envelope the both of them to change into swimwear, him wearing normal swim trunks and her wearing a baggy shirt with shorts.

"Let's go!" He watches with wide eyes as she runs out and dives into the pool, laughing as he does the same.

"Cannonball!" The water splashed out like crazy, the two teens enjoying themselves as they swam against the edge of the pool or just talked.

Harry couldn't keep his eyes off (y/n), seeing the way her shirt clung to her while she tied up her hair. She looks so pretty with the water droplets falling down her neck-

-shut up!

Harry quickly shakes his head of his thoughts, remembering that the girl he liked was in a relationship. He didn't want to ruin this moment and kept his distance, still enjoying his time with her until they started getting cold which (y/n) took them back home after drying off and changing back.

"I think I feel much better after that swimming session."

"You can come by any time you want." The Gryffindor smiles at the girl next to him as they walked down the pathway, heading back to his home. "Do you want to-" the boy grimaces when he quickly notices Duddly walking with his friends up ahead. "(Y/n) you should go."

"What?" The Hufflepuff was clearly upset but saw the slight worry in her friend's eyes when he saw his cousin. She knew that Harry had a very difficult time living with his current guardians and nodded, not wanting to cause him any more trouble. "Ok. I'll see you later Harry. Call me when you can. Stay out of trouble too."

"I will, I will. You don't get in trouble too (y/n). I'll see you at school." The teens quickly say their final goodbyes before (y/n) turns invisible and flies back home.
