(y/n) - your name

"(y/n)! (y/n) wake up!"

"Go away Hermione..." the girl groans as she hides under the blanket.

"Come on! We need to get ready and go! Get up!"

"Girl, come on..." (y/n) sighs out angrily, covering her head with her pillow.

"Get dressed quickly! And don't go back to sleep. Ron's mother says breakfast is ready!" the Hufflepuff throws a pillow harshly behind her, it hitting the door and not Hermione since she dodges it as she leaves the bedroom.

"For fucks sake..." (y/n) sighs as she gets up, going to brush her teeth and freshen up before snapping her fingers to change her clothes. She sported dark tights, her trusty combat boots, a plaid skirt, black turtle neck and a black denim jacket. She ties up her hair in a half-up do, her curtain fringe framing her face before picking up her backpack she had packed the night before. She may or may not be getting all dressed up for a certain platinum blonde-haired boy. "Has anyone seen my glasses?" she asks as she walks downstairs, not noticing the heavy blush on Harry's face as he looks up from the table.

"On the coffee table (y/n)." Hermione calls out and the girl walks over to grab them, leaning down to clean them with the end of her skirt. "See, (y/n) is all dressed and ready to go and you two are still in your pj's!" Hermione exclaims as her friend walks over to her.

"Ease up on them, Hermione. They are just kids. I mean both of them are a year younger than us." the Hufflepuff snickers as she puts on her glasses.

"(y/n) dear, some tea?"

"Yes, please. Thank you Mrs. Weasley."

"Would you like some pancakes?"

"No, I'm fine. I can't eat a lot early in the morning. have to wait till noon."

"That's not good! You should eat if you're going to hike!" she gasps.

"I have food in my bag, I'm ok." (y/n) tries to calm the worried Molly but she manages to win against the child and get her to eat some breakfast.

"Ok chop chop! Let's go!" Arthur says, Ron and Harry rushing upstairs to get ready before dashing back down just as everyone was leaving the house.

"Slowpokes!" (y/n) calls out from in front of them, her and Hermione snickering at how tired they look.

A string of sleepy silhouettes-Fred, George, Ginny, Ron, Harry, Hermione and (y/n)- trail behind a huffing Arthur through the forest. Each of them had a backpack, Fred with a battered pair of binoculars slung over his neck. (y/n) ran through the grass in excitement, Ron, Hermione and Harry catching up with her before the group decided to walk together.

"Where are we actually going?" Harry asks, looking at Ron who shrugs.

"Don't know. Hey Dad! Where are we going?"

"Haven't the foggiest, keep up!" his father calls out, the kids glancing at each other with curious exchanges.

"Arthur! It's about time son." suddenly a man appears from beyond the trees.

"Sorry, Amos. Some of us had a bit of a sleepy start." Arthur smiles as he looks back at Harry and Ron who are yawning. "This is Amos Diggory, everyone. He works with me at the ministry." suddenly a 17-year-old boy jumps down from the trees making (y/n) yelp in fright.

"Sorry (y/n)!" Cedric chuckles lightly as he sees her holding a hand to her chest.

"You know I scare easily Cedric!" she sighs out, the boy turning to shake hands with Arthur

"And this strapping young lad must be Cedric, am I right?"

"Yes sir." he nods, the two fathers leading the way as the kids follow them, Cedric moving to walk next to (y/n). "How have you been (y/n)?"

"Alright. Same old same old really. Nothing much I can say. You?"

"Same old here as well. Are you sure there's nothing I can do to convince you to join the quidditch team again?"

"I don't want to bail on you guys like last time... I don't think I can handle another attack." the boy nods in understanding before looking at the others.

"And who are your friends?"

"Oh! Guys, this is Cedric Diggory, the Hufflepuff quidditch team captain. Cedric this is Ron, Harry, Hermione, Ginny and the twins Fred and George." (y/n) introduces everyone. "I still can't tell the difference between the twins."

"I'm George!"

"I'm Fred!" the twins exclaim as Cedric greets them all before jogging up to walk with his father. Ginny and Hermione walk with (y/n), giggling at how cute the boy was.

"What are you two giggling about?"

"Oh, nothing. We just want to know how you got close with Diggory." Hermione asks, shrugging.

"Draco suggested me to the Hufflepuff quidditch team in year two when players dropped cause they didn't want to go against Gryffindor. I trained with him but I bailed right before the game."

"This was the same time Hermione was petrified right?" Harry asks and (y/n) nods.

"Why did you bail?" Ron asks and the Hufflepuff winces, rubbing the back of her neck.

"I had a panic attack..."

"Why didn't you tell us!" Hermione gasps.

"It was nothing, don't worry about it." (y/n) waves off her friends, the kids hiking up a hill after the adults

"Yes, it's just over there." Amos says, pointing to a boot that was just lying in the grass ontop of the hill. The kids run over to it, looking at it curiously.

"It's just a boot..." (y/n) says. The fathers rush the kids to hurry up, exclaiming that they don't want to be late.

"It's not just a boot princess," Fred says.

"It's a portkey." Geroge finishes and the girl looks at them even more in confusion.

"What's a portkey?" (y/n) and Harry both ask, kneeling in front of the boot with everyone else as they surrounded it in a circle with their hands on the piece of clothing.

"(y/n)! Harry!" Arthur exclaims, the kids quickly grabbing onto the shoe as Amos counts down and all the kids scream out when they suddenly get spun around. The hill lurches then tilts, the sky beginning to spin quickly as the group gets lifted up into the air. A howling wind rises and the sky spins faster and faster making the poor kids scream out from the uncertain blurriness, especially when they go through the earth with a flash of white lightning. "Let go kids!"

"What!?" Hermione and (y/n) screech out.

"Let! Go!" Arthur says again, the kids letting go and they scream as they fly off, slamming hard onto their backs.

"Fuck..." (y/n) groans out, head still spinning as the sky above her reels dizzily like a carousel spinning slowly to a stop. Everyone else felt the same except for Arthur, Amos and Cedric who come down to the ground more gracefully, windswept but upright.

Cedric helped Harry up to his feet and went over to (y/n), holding his hand out for her to hold. "Thanks-" she rises up to her feet, stumbling into the boy as she feels a sudden lightheadedness and vertigo hitting her.

"Easy there." the Hufflepuff boy chuckles lightly, helping the girl walk off her dizziness.

"Never again... I'm not using a portkey again..." she mumbles out, making the fathers laugh. The group walk across the field and gets greeted by a massive crowd gathered and cheering, tents set up all over the land. "Holy shit!" (y/n) exclaims, seeing the thousands of different decorated tents spread before her.

"Well kids, welcome to the Quidditch World Cup!" Arthur says, everyone in awe as they walk into the crowd, taking in the sights. They all glance about in fascination as they trudge past the tents, exotic accents dancing upon the air, every nationality in evidence. Music drifted through the air with flyers on their brooms zooming above them. (y/n) was in the middle of Hermione and Ginny, holding their arms as they pointed out to the different performers and animals that trudged past them behind their owners.

"This is amazing!" (y/n) quickly dodges a flyer that flew over her and the group, the families splitting up and she waves goodbye to Cedric who waves back with a smile. The Weasleys plus Harry, Hermione and (y/n) approach a small tent, Arthur pulling aside a flap for the kids to enter through first. "No way..." Harry and (y/n) enter through last to see the tent actually bigger than the outside. Way bigger, like 4 different rooms in one plus a kitchen and living room.

"I love magic." he grins in awe and she nods quickly.

"Agreed."

The sun was starting to set as people were trying to find their seats on the numerous floors the stadium had. "Blimey Dad, how far up are we?" Ron asks as Harry was mesmerised by the fireworks and the bright lights of the pregame excitement.

Below them, Lucius Malfoy and Draco were walking down the steps together, looking up at the Weasley family as the platinum blonde-haired boy scanned the group for a certain girl. "Well, put it this way, if it rains... you'll be the first to know." Draco laughs at his father's words, putting up a smile uneasily while the Weasley boys glared at them.

"Father and I are in the minister's box, by personal invitation of Cornelius Fudge himself." the Slytherin boy boasts, soon scolded by his father not to do that as he hits his stomach with the end of his staff. Draco steps back away from his father, looking around to try and find (y/n) but he couldn't see her.

He saw his father walk away but he waited for a bit, hearing a familiar voice he was hoping to hear. "Thank fuck I caught up with you! I got lost!" (y/n) heaves lightly as she ran up the steps to catch up with the group, the platinum blonde-haired boy feeling a sudden shower of warmth and awe as he saw her smile. Draco faltered against the railing seeing what (y/n) wore, seeing her look so pretty that he couldn't contain the way his heart lept when she turned to look at him.

She is so beautiful...

"Draco!" (y/n) gasps when the family walks off, a bright blush growing on her face seeing him wearing an avant-garde black suit with his hair styled to the side. His stormy grey eyes were brighter in the light, a grin on his face when he saw her flustered. He looked amazing in that suit, an unfamiliar feeling growing in her chest that made her swoon against the railing as she smiled down at him.

He is so handsome...

"Hi..." she whispers sheepishly, him chuckling softly and admiring the way her doe eyes sparkled from the fireworks.

"Hi..." he mumbles in reply, waving and (y/n) lights up seeing that he was still wearing her ring. Draco smiled softly seeing the necklace he gave her sitting around her neck beautifully, the two being pulled away suddenly.
