Ron shows his friends the clipping and in the accompanying photo, the entire Weasley family stands before the Great Pyramids, waving.
"Egypt! What's it like?" Harry and (y/n) ask Ron.
"Brilliant! It's got loads of old stuff. Mummies. Death masks. Tombs-
"-you know, the ancient Egyptians of the Nile River delta worshipped the cat goddess Bast." Ron glares stonily at Hermione, then turns back to Harry. Just then, a commotion is heard and the kids look up to see the rest of the Weasley family arriving at the pub, laden with purchases from Diagon Alley.
"Not flashing that clipping about again, are you, Ron?" George says, snatching up the clipping from his brother.
"I haven't shown anyone!" Ron exclaims.
"No, not a soul. Unless you count Tom." Fred stars.
"The day maid." and George continues, the twins listing off the people Ron showed the clipping to, jumping back and forth.
"The night maid."
"The cook."
"The bloke that came to fix the toilet."
"That wizard from Belgium..."
Molly suddenly rushes up to Harry and (y/n), beaming at the two of them. "It's good to see you, Harry and (y/n)!" she takes their faces in her hands when they quickly get up to greet her, almost relieved to see them both ok. "Got everything you need? All of your books? All of your clothes?"
"Yeah, they're all upstairs." the kids respond back and Molly smiles at them, patting their cheeks.
"Good job Harry and (y/n)." she walks away, the kids looking at each other in shock but shrugging it off when Harry greets Arthur who shakes his hand and asks if they could talk privately.
(y/n) turns around and jumps back to see the twins, George and Fred smiling at her. "Look George, our princess is here!"
"And she looks as beautiful as she did last year!" the twins coo as the Hufflepuff girl in front of them blushes, pinching her cheeks. "You cut your hair."
"Looks amazing on you."
"How was your holiday?"
"Think of us did you?" the twins go back and forth making (y/n) slowly turn red, unsure of what to say.
"George! Fred! Leave the poor girl alone!" Molly scolds them and they take a step back, their hands up in defence and they walk away not without winking at (y/n) who falls into her seat next to Hermione all flustered.
"I think the twins have a liking towards you." Hermione snickers.
"Or they're just messing with me!"
"That too."

(y/n), Harry and Ron wave goodbye to the Weasley family while Hermione waves goodbye to her parents when the train chuffs away from the platform. "I didn't mean to blow her up. I just... lost control." Harry sighs out, troubled by the memory as the group of friends weave through the train aisles that were teeming with students waving goodbye to their parents, the group trying to find an empty compartment.
"Brilliant!"
"Honestly, Ron, it's not funny. Harry's lucky he wasn't expelled." Hermione scolds him.
"I think he was lucky not to be arrested." (y/n) muses as Harry rolls his eyes at her playfully.
"I still think it was brilliant!"
"I have to agree! When he told me over the phone I couldn't stop laughing!"
"It was true!" Harry gasps out. "She was cackling!"
"I'm sorry but I wish you took a video of it somehow!" (y/n) chuckles lightly, Hermione nodding to an empty compartment that had someone sleeping in it.
"Come on. Everywhere else is full." The kids walk in, putting their stuff away on the overboard hangers before sitting down on the seats. The kids eye the man warily who was in shabby robes, him slumped against the window asleep. He looks ill, exhausted.
"Who d'you reckon he is?"
"Wanna speak any louder to wake him up!?" (y/n) hisses lowly to Ron who shrinks under her gaze. "Let the man sleep."
"Professor R.J. Lupin." Hermione answers Ron who looks at her weirdly.
"You know everything. How is it she knows everything?"
"It's on his suitcase Ronald." (y/n) and Hermione both point out to the case above the man, stamped in peeling letters. The Hufflepuff girl closes the door and leans her head against it as Harry sat next to her opposite Ron and Hermione.
"Is he really asleep?" Harry asks.
"Seems to be." Hermione says.
"He should be if he drank that whole bottle of alcohol." (y/n) points out to the empty glass bottle and the golden trio look at it. "Why?"
"I gotta tell you something." Hermione, Ron and (y/n) exchange curious glances. The day slowly turns dark as Harry explained to them what Ron's father had told him, storm clouds like dark ghosts rolling over the sky with toss sheets of rain pelting against the train that was taking them to Hogwarts. Ron, Hermione and (y/n) stare at Harry, their faces stricken in the lantern light that now glows in the compartment.
"Let me get this straight. Sirius Black escaped from Azkaban to come after you?"
"Yes."
"But they'll catch Black, won't they? I mean... everyone's looking for him." Hermione says, trying to comfort Harry.
"Sure... Of course, no one's ever broken out of Azkaban before and he's a raving, murderous lunatic..."
"Thanks Ron." Harry huffs out in annoyance at his friend's words but also in slight fear. Just then, the compartment rattles and the lanterns flicker as the train begins to slow with a painful screech.
"Why're we stopping? We can't be there yet..." Hermione mutters out and Harry and (y/n) get up, opening the door and peering out into the corridor along with other students who look out from their compartments curiously.
"Shit-!" (y/n) gasps from the train suddenly jerking harshly as the car sways, her falling back against Harry and landing on his lap as he falls on the seat. "Sorry!" the both of them blush profusely as she quickly climbs off him and sits next to him on the seat, Ron and Hermione smirking at each other.
There was another rattle that made the compartment door slam closed as the train lurches making Ron jump in fright. "What's going on?"
"I don't know. Maybe we've broken down." Harry says unsure, the lamps running along the ceiling flickering.
Ron peers out the window, eyes wide with fear. "There's something moving out there." The kids look at him warily, (y/n) panicking when the lights completely die off in their compartment. "I think someone's coming aboard..." Ron whispers, looking back at his friends
Suddenly the car sways violently and then rights itself, making the girls gasp in fright from the sudden movement. (y/n) notices the streams of clouds escaping past her lips, shivering in the cold as she wraps herself with Draco's blanket before jumping up to quickly lock the compartment door. Harry pulls her away from it, them both looking to Ron when they hear crackling and suddenly see the window covered with ice. The whole compartment gets covered in ice and (y/n) starts freezing, trembling in Harry's arms as he holds her tight.
"Bloody hell! What's happening!?" Ron exclaims as the compartment sways violently again. The kids look at the compartment door, freezing in fright when they see a dark figure slowly approach from the side.
A hand, slimy and scabbed, a hand of death unlocks the compartment door as the sound echoes. (y/n) ducks to hide under her blanket, Harry frozen in fear as the compartment door opens to reveal a towering cloaked figure, its face hidden beneath its black hood. (y/n) didn't know what was going on until she saw a bright flash of light and then the sounds of the train moving again. She peeks her head up to see the lights were back on and everything was back to normal but feels a weight on her lap, looking down to see Harry passed out.
"Harry?" she whispers, shaking him lightly and he groans softly from his body aching.
"Harry, are you all right?" Hermione's troubled face hovers above him and he nods, slowly sitting up as she passed him his glasses.
"Thank you." Harry slips them on, face pale and weary as he sits up straight.
"Here, eat this. It'll help." Professor Lupin breaks a ragged triangle of chocolate off the slab in his hands and holds it out for Harry and (y/n) to take.
"It's chocolate." (y/n) whispers to Harry and he gingerly takes it off from the professor as she does the same, thanking him and nibbling on the sweet.
"What was that thing?" Harry stutters out.
"A Dementor. One of the guards of Azkaban. It's gone now." Harry frowns in confusion at the professor's answer. "It was searching the train for Sirius Black. If you'll excuse me, I need to have a word with the driver." Lupin passes the chocolate to Harry before he gets up to leave the compartment. "Eat. It'll help." he says with a warm smile, walking off after closing the door behind him and the kids look at each other to figure out what just happened.
"What happened to me?" Harry asks, looking at (y/n).
"Don't look at me, I was hiding beneath my blanket the entire time." she shrugs, nodding to Ron and Hermione.
"Well, you sort of went... rigid. We thought maybe you were having a fit or something." Ron says.
"And did either of you? Youknow... pass out?" Harry asks and Ron shakes his head.
"No. I felt... weird. Like I'd never be cheerful again."
"But someone was screaming. A woman." Hermione, Ron and (y/n) glance nervously at Harry after what he said.
"No one was screaming, Harry." (y/n) whispers, turning to look out the window with slight confusion at how it got dark so quickly.
