"Why? WHY!?" Draco cries out, pulling back to see (y/n) cough up ink in her hands. She blinks, trying to focus her vision but her mind numbed from the agony her body was in. "(y/n)!" he quickly takes her shirt off gently seeing the multiple cracks appearing on her skin of where his slashes were, hissing from the heat of the red streaks that burned through her. She mindlessly wipes away the ink, disgusted and worried about what that meant.

"I'm ok..." she rolls her shoulders back, sighing as the pain starts to subside but her love was still terrified.

"You're not ok! You're-" he gets silenced when she leans up to kiss him, gently holding his tear-streaked cheeks until she shakily leans back.

"I'm fine. As long as you're ok..." he tears up at her words, fury boiling his blood. He was angry at himself, angry at his parents, at Voldemort, at the stupid mark on his arm! 

How could she say that when she was the one that wasn't supposed to be hurt!? And even now she's hurt because of me!

"How can you say that for a disgusting monster!? I cursed Katie! I tried to kill Dumbledore! I'm a fucking Death Eater (y/n)!" he screams out, harshly pulling up his sleeve to reveal his dark mark. His stomach turned at the sight of the snake wriggling on his skin, of the scars and claw marks when he tried to rip it off him or tried to cut it out with a knife. "I'm a monster! I hurt people!"

Draco looks up to see (y/n) tear up as she stared at his left arm, holding her left wrist from the phantom pain. She carefully holds his hand, brushing her thumb over each scar, each wound while ignoring the mark.

"I'm so sorry I missed this. I'm so sorry Draco..." the Hufflepuff cries, finally knowing the reason why her love had been in so much pain. She leans up to hold his cheeks and he leans into her touch as he tears up. "for everything..." she pulls him into a tight hug, cradling his head as he cries into her shoulder and grips her back tightly. "Give it to me ok. You give all that pain to me. I can handle it. Everything, just give it all to me so you don't go through all of this anymore." Draco sobs at her words.

"(y/n)..." he croaks and she leans over him protectively as he lets her rock him back and forth softly. He cried and cried until he couldn't feel, until everything went numb. Until all his pain and his worries and his fear were given all to her. 

(y/n) leans back, wiping his cheeks and kissing his forehead. "You're not a monster. You are not this mark..."

"But-"

"We will figure this out together. Don't go through this alone anymore." Draco nods against her neck, leaning back to see her eyes flaming red and he knew she meant every word. She never left his side, never saw the evil in him, never chastised him and always listened. She never crucified him for being a Death Eater, never hated him. All she did was care and love him-

-I love her.

His eyes widen at that single thought, following (y/n) as she slowly got up from the floor. His mind flashed with every moment she protected him, at every moment she took care of him, showering him with adoration and only made him the happiest when he was with her. 

I love (y/n).

He gasps out softly as his heart jumped at the thought, feeling warm and full of happiness as she smiled at him and put her hand out for him to hold. He holds her hand and she pulls him back up to his feet, entwining his fingers with her as he pulls her forward to kiss her. Heat rushed through him when he felt her soft lips against his, holding her cheek gently as he poured all his love for her in the kiss.

"Draco...?" (y/n) pulls back with a light gasp as he looks down at her with an unrecognisable look in his eyes, leaning his forehead against hers as he smiled. His heart was pounding the fastest it ever did, racing for her and almost leaping out of his chest to be with her.

I love her.

That single sentence made his entire world spin from the realisation, breaking everything he knew and was raised on by his parents. The minute he saw her, everything changed. He had a chance for a happy ending. She was his happy ending and he knew he needed her till the end of time. She was his nebula and he was forever drawn to her like the Eart orbits the sun endlessly. 

I love her.

Draco pulls (y/n) back into the sweet kiss, moving to hold her waist and slowly pulls her with him to her bed. She held his cheek, their hands still entwined and she hovered up in front of him to kiss him deeper when she knew he wouldn't pull away. He wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her down on her soft sheets, carefully moving over her without breaking the kiss.

"I missed you..." she whispers against his lips as he wipes away a stray tear falling down, kissing her eyes, her cheeks, her forehead, her nose and finally her lips.

"I missed you... so much..." he shudders, holding her tight like she might disappear but she pulls him back down by his tie to kiss him again.

Draco was in love with (y/n) and he made to show her how much he physically could with the most gentle and caring touches he could muster for her. He cherished every part of her body, every inch of her skin with affection and kisses, caressing her body and burning the angelic beauty of hers in his mind. He kissed her endlessly, trying to communicate his love for her as he slowly eased the two of them to their high together. He never let her go, holding her tight and pressing their bodies together after being separated for so long. He took in every soft gasp, every soft sigh of his name, every soft breathless kiss. He tangled his limbs with hers, running his fingers down her arched body against his to touch her in every possible as he kissed her deeply and never parted far from her presence.

The fire crackled in the quiet but comforting room, warding off the cold as Draco held (y/n) tightly in his arms. He buried his head against her neck from behind her, his arms wrapped around her shoulders and her waist as he curled into her. He pulled her as close as he physically could, never letting her go and he sighed in bliss of the comfort she gave him when he breathed her in. She mindlessly played with his rings and he smiles against her hair, tilting her chin up to kiss her. She holds his cheek softly, her thumb brushing against the skin and he turns her around to pull her to his chest. 

"I am in love with you (y/n)..." Draco whispers as he pulls back with a smile but it falters when he sees her eyes wide.

"You..." (y/n)'s mind spun as the words echoed in her head and her heart swelled with happiness but a frown appears on her face knowing the future. "Draco I-"

"-you don't love me...?" his voice cracks but his Puff shakes her head quickly.

"I do... god I do with my entire being-"

"-then-"

"-I can't Draco..." he furrows his brows as his love sits up to look at him, holding the blanket over her chest. "You're the first person-I've never had these feelings before and I don't know if I can say them... I had to learn all over again, learn with you, learn to-you're the person I fell for in this world Draco, only you and I've never had to say those words before when I was here. Ever. I don't know if I physically can say them..." Draco frowns as (y/n) turns her back to him, holding her head in her hands. "I'm sorry..." his eyes turn to something on her back, his frown deepening with fear.

"Your back..."

"What about it-" she freezes as she members the hole in her back, quickly putting a hand over it to cover it up but it was too late and she gives up. "You know how I know you're not a monster Draco? Because I am... I'm not human... I never was..." she closes her eyes in shame, holding her arms tightly and his heart breaks seeing her look so scared. "I'm so sorry Draco..."

"How did I miss this...?" he mumbles softly, gently sitting up and pulling his love back into his arms, kissing her back. "Why didn't you tell me?" he was hurt, hurt that she couldn't confide in him. He looks down at her legs and noticed the discoloured patches on her skin on the limb and on the heel, trying to touch her leg but she stops him. "You're not a monster (y/n)... I fell in love with you. Whoever you are in this world, I am in love with you." he pulls off one of the many rings he wore, leaning over to put it on his loves ring finger and kisses the back of her hand. "Human, angel, goddess, whoever you are, you are my love. Nothing would make me love you any less." she lets him go and he rubs her leg gently with his thumb, kissing the middle of her spin and the cracks on her back continuously. He could feel the difference in the texture but he couldn't care less.

"Its metal..." (y/n) whispers, letting herself lean back into Draco's arms as he held her tightly, admiring the silver ring that had a black diamond embedded into it. "It's the only way to fix the cracks and holes before it gets worse."

"Does it hurt?" she nods, finding comfort in the way her love runs his hands down her waist as he kissed her shoulder. "Why didn't you come to me, my love?"

"I was ashamed... I thought you would hate me for lying to you..."

"You are my heart (y/n) and I love you..." he whispers, leaning his hand up to rest against her chest. "Even if you can't say it, I know and I'm ok with that." he smiles against her shoulder. "And I can never hate you..." he pulls his love back down beneath the blankets, leaning over her as he brushes her hair away gently.

"Why the breakup Draco...?" he sighs in defeat.

"To protect you... I didn't want to become a Death Eater but I had no choice... The Dark Lord he... he threatened to hurt you if I didn't accept the mark. He threatened to kill you if I failed my mission to kill Dumbledore. I failed (y/n)... he's going to kill me, my parents... you... it's all my fault..."

"It's not your fault... you were forced into this... I'm not letting him hurt you or your parents. I promise you, Voldemort won't hurt you."

"(y/n) don't promise that-"

"-I swore to keep you happy Draco. And I promise you that I would keep you safe." before Draco could stop her, (y/n) had curled her pinky around his. "He won't hurt you, he won't hurt anyone."
