Darkness settled over Hogwarts, the walls quiet and still as Draco walked down the corridors to reach his destination. He subconsciously spins the gold ring on his finger, turning a corner and coming face to face with the Room of Requirement. A door appears after he walks in front of the door three times, recognising it and he shakes his head as he lets the ring go. The same ring his love gave to him. The door soon changes to what he needed, opening it up to be greeted with numerous items and knick-knacks filling the room.
Draco walked further in as the door closes behind him, a record skipping in the distance as he held a green apple in his hand. He looked down at it with a frown, remembering it appearing on his desk and he knew it was from his Puff but he continued on. He turned around and saw a familiar shaped item looming over him, draped over by a sheet that he pulled away to reveal the second cabinet that linked with the one in Borgin and Burkes. The cabinet he had to repair for his given mission by the Dark Lord, the one that would let in Death Eaters to assist him in assassinating Dumbledore.

It was a new tiring morning, grey clouds sitting in the sky that threatened to pour rain as (y/n) got up from her bed. Her head pounded from the lack of sleep, cursing herself for staying up too long trying to find Draco when she realised he wasn't in his bedroom. She had been worried for him completely, knowing he was going to skip breakfast again. She was the last to leave her dorm, getting up to brush her teeth as she snapped her fingers to get dressed in warm clothes. Her faded streaks were more dull on her skin now, like lone pale scars that spread all over her. People thought it was the result of being tortured by the Crucio curse so she let it be, not bothering to cover them up anymore except for her large cracks. Those had to stay hidden.
(y/n) walked out of the Hufflepuff dorm, greeted with a pear sitting for her on the barrels outside the door and she frowns. "Where are you..." she whispers, picking up the pear and holding it tight as she went to the kitchen. There was a plate of food in the fridge she saved the night before, taking it out and closing her eyes. She let her powers stream down over the plate, thinking about her love when the plate disappears from her hands. It was a new skill she trained, hoping the plate arrives to wherever the Slytherin was. She sighs and looks around, shaking her body as ripples run through her to turn her invisible before she jumps up to fly off out to the Quidditch field where there were tryouts.
(y/n) zooms to the field in no time, seeing the Slytherins just finishing their tryouts to let the Gryffindors use the field last. She expected Draco to be testing the students but he was nowhere to be found.
Where is he? He loves Quidditch...
The Hufflepuff hovers down behind a pillar, shaking off her powers before jogging out onto the field where Harry was struggling to get the students to stand still. "SHUT UP!" she screams at them, making everyone jump in fright and quickly shut their mouths.
"Thank you." Harry blinks at her in surprise as she gives him a thumbs up, smiling with laughter as she runs off to head to the stands where Hermione was sitting at.
"About time." Hermione smiles at her best friend as she plops down next to her on the seat, seeing her eat her pear. "Didn't find him again this morning?" (y/n) shakes her head no.
"I'm slowly losing hope... maybe he doesn't want to talk at all.."
"The day he stops giving you pears is the day you stop looking for him. He still cares. Don't give up." Hermione hugs her, the girls keeping each other warm. The Gryffindor looks away in disgust as Cormac smirks at her and (y/n) realises it was the same boy from the twin's store.
"Want me to set him on fire for you?" She noticed how her friend was visibly uncomfortable by him and swore to keep him away from her.
"What!? No!"
"If you need to escape him, you can use my bedroom-" the Hufflepuff's eyes widen when she realised the one place she should've searched.
"I think I can handle him-(y/n)?"
"I think I know where Draco might be!" she gasps, running off quickly down at the stairs to turn invisible and zooming off back to the castle.
Why didn't I think of this before!?
Maybe he's staying in my room or in the room of requirement!
That's why I can't find him!
(y/n) speeds past the open castle doors, weaving up and down all corridors three times until a door showed up on a wall. She had fixed the Room of requirement the minute Umbitch was sacked, smiling as she sees the familiar door and she quickly enters her bedroom to find it empty.
"Draco?" she frowns, leaving the room and slamming the door closed behind her. "Where is he!?" the door soon changes to one she didn't recognise, setting her feet down on the ground as she carefully opened the door silently not knowing where it would lead her. She peeked her head in to find a dimly lit room filled with random shit, items that probably had been lost or forgotten for years as she blocked her nose from the dust that threatened to make her sneeze.
(y/n) carefully walked inside, walking around silently in case there was a monster until she came face to face with a giant cabinet. Something about it made her skin crawl, seeing tools and equipment next to the cabinet like someone was trying to fix it.
Is Draco trying to fix it?
She looks around for him, deciding that he wasn't here and carefully walks back out of the room as the door disappears. "Does that have something to do with his father? The Death Eaters? Voldemort?" she whispers with concern.
~~~~~~~~
"Did you find him?" Ron asks as he sees (y/n) walk into the Gryffindor common room, the others greeting her as she greeted them back. It wasn't unusual anymore for the all-house girl to be able to visit all houses.
"No..." she lies, clearing her throat. "What happened at practice today? You look happy."
"I got in!" Ron exclaims, sitting up on the couch as Harry and Hermione sat on the floor in front of him with the fire warming them up.
"Hey! Great job!" the Hufflepuff jumps over to sit on the couch arm, her feet leaning up in the couch cushions.
"Yeah, it was a close call between him and McLadden." Hermione pipes up, a hint of a smile on her face remembering how she spelled the latter to miss the bludgers, quickly wiping it off to not seem suspicious but obviously her best friend picks up on it with a sly grin.
"Ginny got in too. You should've seen her! Faster than any player I've seen." Harry says, (y/n) leaning over to him as he read that mysterious Half-Blood Prince book.
"Got a thing for her Harry?"
"No!" he says, a blush growing on his face as he leans back when the girl he actually liked was extremely close to him.
"Sure, sure." She pushes his glasses up, leaning back to continue to listen to Ron explain what happened at practice.
"I have to admit, thought I was going to miss that last one. I hope Cormac's not taking it too hard." Ron explains. "He's got a bit of a thing for you, Hermione. Cormac."
He's vile." she spits out, rolling her eyes as she read the newspaper.
"My offer still stands Hermione." (y/n) speaks up.
"What offer?" The boys ask.
"Setting him on fire." they gasp when she answers. "Alright! I won't! Jeez. Also, what's with the girl staring at Ron the entire time?"
"Who?" Ron asks, looking to see Lavendar waving. (y/n) stands up and walks over Ron who swats at her legs and she sits down behind Hermione on the couch arm.
"So what did you do to Cormac? I saw that smile." she whispers to her.
"Confundus spell. Made him miss on purpose."
"Atta girl!" the girls hi-five, looking at Harry when he leans over to show the book to them. "
"Ever heard of this spell?Sectumsempra?"
"No, I have not. And if you had a shred of self-respect you would turn that book in." Hermione complains.
"Not bloody likely. He's top of the class. Even better than you two." Ron says as he looks at the girls who roll their eyes at him. "Slughorn thinks he's a genius." Hermione casts Ron a withering glance. "What?"
"(y/n) would you hand the book in?" Hermione asks.
"If I didn't have powers, hell no. That's a cheat sheet!" the boys laugh seeing Hermione's annoyance as she reaches over to snatch the book from Harry.
"I'd like to know just whose book it was. Let's take a look, shall we?"
Harry quickly closes the book and keeps it out of reach from Hermione. "No!" he quickly gets up, avoiding (y/n) as she wriggles her fingers knowing she could take it from him.
"Why not?" Now Hermione was suspicious.
"The binding is fragile."
The binding is fragile!?" she mocks Harry.
"It belongs to the Half-Blood Prince." (y/n) pipes up, Harring glaring at her to shut up and she sticks her tongue out at him.
"Who's the Half-Blood Prince?" Ginny asks.
"Who knows. All I know is that it's going to be this year's adventure if I know you three." (y/n) says, looking at the golden trio who grins at her sheepishly.
