The sky was eerily dark and grey, storm clouds gathering dangerously as lightning thunders. The air grew cold and frigid, lifeless clouds circled together and forms a gaping skull that roars. Dark tendrils of smoke fly out from the skull's mouth, zooming through the clouds and down through the streets of London like ominous signs of death and chaos.
A certain 'hero' looks out her window recognising the signs of her enemy, the signs of people that want to only destroy both the muggle world and the wizarding world. She snaps her fingers and cloaks herself invisible, flying out through the open window of her hidden apartment and flies up to observe the sky with worry.
Three death smogs exactly fly past her and she watches as they weave through the streets of London, swerving around buildings. She counts down, giving them a head start before she bursts through the air, trailing after them with lightning speed she has only gained from training by herself.
Training to forget.
Training to forget how weak she was.
Training to forget... him.
She follows the Death Eaters, slowing down to stay distant from them as they barge through the bricks into Diagon Alley and crash into a shop, one cloaked figure walking out with suave and another pulling out a hostage with a bag over his head followed by a third. Witches and wizards scream in fear, running away from the Death Eaters and they fly away.
She lets them go, waving her wand with a simple flourish as red mist surrounds the shop, repairing it back to how it was before she zooms back out into London. She finds more Death Eaters flying way too close to muggles, following them flying towards a bridge before they turn invisible. They encircle the bridge as pedestrians peer upward, bewildered, sensing a shift inthe atmosphere. Screams erupt when the bridge suddenly tilts, moving dangerously over the water as wires bend and snap.
Muggles scream for their lives, trying to run to safety and that's when she decides to step in, hovering high in the sky and taking control of the bridge with her powers. She grits her teeth to try and keep the bridge in control, hearing the Death Eaters yell to each other below her.
"Find her!"
She tilts her head with annoyance, putting the bridge back together as she watches for the Death Eaters, catching a glimpse of a ripple in their invisibility and traps them in a dome together. They grow angry but soon panic as the dome lowers into the waters, losing their source of air as water filters into the dome. They try to escape, casting spells and magic but nothing works as the dome gets smaller and they drown in the water.
"Enough." She hisses, tendrils of red appearing from the dome to wrap around the Death Eaters, choking them of life and ensuring they stay dead. The tendrils plunge into their chests, their life force sucked away by her hands. The red dome disappears and she simply flies away, letting the bodies sink to the bottom of the water for the Dark Lord to find.

Dark grey smog smothered the small town, cold seeping into every nook and cranny. The Lestrange sisters walk through the rain that pelted down on them, walking an alleyway to get to their destination.
"Cissy!" Narcissa makes her way through a labyrinth of dilapidated brick houses with Bellatrix trailing behind her. "You mustn't do this. He can't be trusted!"
"The Dark Lord trusts him."
"The Dark Lord is mistaken!" Bellatrix shocks herself with that statement, quickly following her sister as she knocks on a door to be greeted by Wormtail who opens the door for the ladies. They quickly enter the house, ridding their raincoats and following Wormtail who leads them to the room Severus Snape was waiting in.
"Run along, Wormtail." Snape sneers, slamming the door shut on him before getting up to fill three goblets of wine.
"I know I ought not to be here." he passes Narcissa a goblet of wine, her sister roaming around in boredom. "The Dark Lord himself has forbidden me to speak of this."
"If the Dark Lord has forbidden it, you ought not to speak." Snape's eyes shift, catching onto the crazy sister as he taps his own goblet of wine. "Put it down, Bella. We mustn't touch what isn't ours. She flowers and sets the item back down. "As it so happens I'm aware of your situation, Narcissa."
"You? The Dark Lord told you?" Bellatrix mocks.
"Your sister doubts me, Narcissa. Understandable. Over the years I have played my part well. So well I've deceived one of the greatest wizards of all time." Bellatrix makes a scathing sound which makes Snape turn, eyes hard. "Dumbledore is a great wizard. Only a fool would question it."
"I don't doubt you, Severus."
"You should feel honoured, Cissy. As should Draco." Bellatrix says, not catching the glaze of tears forming in the mother of a forced future she never wanted for her son. Of a dark and unforgiving path that she wished she could help her son escape from. All she wanted was for him to live a life with the one he loved.
But he had to obey.
Obey to forget... her.
Obey to save her.
"He's just a boy!"
"I can't change the Dark Lord'smind. But it might be possible for me to help Draco. To provide some... protection." Bellatrix eyes Snape keenly.
"Do you mean it, Severus?" Narcissa says with a hopeful smile.
"I can try."
"Oh, Severus, please, if you would-"
"-swear to it." Bellatrix cuts her sister off as she looks at her in shock, Snape's eyes shifting over to meet her challenging gaze. "Make the Unbreakable Vow. You see. It's just empty words." Bellatrix whispers, digging words into her sister's mind as she pleading looks at Snape. "Oh, he'll try. He'll give it his best effort. But when it matters most he'll slither back into his hole. Bloody coward..."
Snape turns back, anger flashing in his eyes. "Take out your wand." Bellatrix freezes, Snape turning to Narcissa with their hands interlocked. With a tight grip, they turn their arms. Bellatrix, hand faintly trembling, places the tip of her wand over their linked hands.
Strands of liquid fire issue from Bellatrix's wand and wends their way around their hands, locking the two adults together. "Will you, Severus Snape, watch over Draco Malfoy as he attempts to fulfil the Dark Lord's wishes." she asks.
"I will."
"And will you, to the best of your ability, protect him from harm?"
"I will."
"And should it prove necessary, if it seems Draco will fail... will you yourself carry out the deed that the Dark Lord has ordered Draco to perform?" Snape's hand twitches within Narcissa's as Bellatrix waits.
"I will."
The vow was now spoken, the strands permanently marking the skins of Narcissa and Snape as the mother lets go of him. She looks at the marks, a tear falling down her cheek. A mother who wanted her son safe.

"Hey Ron."
"Hey (y/n)! How are you?"
"So so, ya know the usual. Whatsup?" the girl asks as she walks around, her telephone following her around as it sat on a cloud of red mist while she held the receiver and made some tea.
"Can you come over to my place?"
"Yeah sure. When?" Ron was shocked that he didn't have to make up an excuse, looking at the telephone in surprise as he looks at Hermione and Harry who urge him to continue.
"Now? You can stay over as well till school starts."
"Cool. I should have a few bags over already." (y/n) simply says, snapping her fingers to send her luggage over and the golden trip jump when a few bags pop up behind them. "I'll be over." Ron didn't even get to say goodbye as the monotone voiced girl cuts the call and he looks at his friends with concern.
"Something is up with her. She doesn't... sound like her." Hermione toyed with the blanket, unsure if she should tell the boys or not. She didn't have enough time to make a decision when she heard knocking on the Weasley's front door and the trio run out to peak over the railings.
"Who is it!?" the Weasley family asks their mother who shushes them.
"It's... (y/n)?" Molly was shocked to see the girl standing in front of her, doing a double take to check if it actually was her since she looked so different.
"Princess!" the twins exclaim, rushing downstairs first before her friends to greet her but they stop short seeing her walk into the house. "Bloody hell..." the twins whisper in awe, flushed at the way their princess looked.
"George, is it me or did our princess become stunning?"
"Fred, stunning doesn't even do her justice."
"Hello boys." (y/n) grins, shrugging off her leather jacket to reveal the black off-shoulder crop top and leather pants she wore, her green necklace glinting as she pushed back her dyed hair to reveal her multiple piercings on her left ear. The twins fall to their knees as she walks past them and ruffles their hair, following her every move as she went to greet her friends. "Hey guys."
"(y/n), what in the bloody-" Ron, hisses in pain as Hermione smacks the back of his head to shut him up.
"You're looking good (y/n)!" Hermione goes to hug her, blushing brightly from her large chest flushing against her.
"You look amazing Hermione. So do you both." the Hufflepuff smiles at the boys who grin back at her and jump in to hug her too. They all had been worried for her since the battle at the ministry, making a note to not question her for revealing her streaks on her skin. "I'm glad you all are safe..." The boys look at Hermione knowing she was keeping something from them about their friend.
"Boys, can you take (y/n)'s bags upstairs-" the twins salute their mother with no argument, grabbing the girl's belongings and dashing up to the guest bedroom that the trio were staying in.
"Yeah, I guess we got a lot of catching up to do..." (y/n) rubs her neck shyly, ruffling her hair she had cut again just to her shoulders.
"Yeah, we do." Harry says, the four friends going up the stairs. "So like the new look, but-"
"-Draco broke up with me."
"HE DID WHAT!?"
