Harry, Ron and Hermione look at each other when they see the glowing red dome, silently thanking (y/n) as the spells of the Death Eaters bounced off against it. Neville, Luna and Ginny were shocked and in awe, continuing to cast spells to attack the Death Eaters as they looked at Lucius on what to do next. 

He sneers, looking around for another figure, seeing no one in the darkness. "Go!" Harry calls out, the group running for the exit as (y/n) shoved above them and silenced her pained cries as her skin split apart and burned. Neville cast a spell to attack a Death Eater but they block off the spell, it bouncing and flying above the dome to hit (y/n) in the back and she hisses in pain. The shield around her friends accidentally drops as she hits the floor with a painful thud, still invisible but they run off to avoid Lucius and the Death Eaters.

Harry looks around in worry for (y/n), knowing that if he called out for her, her secret would be revealed and their advantage would be lost. The group had split apart, the students doing well on their training to charm the Death Eaters and gaining on them, taking them out one by one. They all bumped into each other, Ginny casting a final spell to take out the few death Eaters coming their way. Her spell blasted loud and big, the shelves with the prophecies suddenly starting to fall ahead of them. It was like an avalanche of glass and shelves, the group stumbling back.

"Get to the door, now." (y/n) hisses to the golden trio and they jump when they hear her voice but don't see her, them urging Neville, Luna and Ginny to run ahead of them. The trio look behind them, a wave of red like a tidal wave violently washes through the room to stop the collapse of the room, the impact of destruction causing extreme winds to push them through the door and Harry calls out for his friend.

"NO!" 

(y/n) screams out as she crumbles under the weight, slamming her hands down onto the floor as an explosion of her powers rips out in the room. Shelves and glass stop altogether, time freezing in complete until everything slowly moves in reverse and going back to how they once stood while she slowly gets up. She walks backwards to make sure she wasn't being followed, jumping up to fly through the door and down the darkness her friends were falling through. 

They all scream when they see the bottom, flailing and readying themselves for impact but they all stop an inch above the ground. They sigh in relief but grunt in pain as they drop to the floor unceremoniously.

"Bloody hell..." Ron groans out, everyone slowly getting up on their feet. "Department of Mysteries. They got that bit right, didn't they?" he mentions, the group looking around in the circular room, like they were trapped at the bottom of a well with a strange glowing archway in the middle.

Harry looked at this archway, a light shining above it as it stood high on a platform with white mist rippling between its legs. "The voices. Can you tell what they're saying?" he murmurs, getting closer to this archway as the whispers muffle around him.

"There aren't any voices, Harry." Hermione says, looking at the group warily and they all carefully follow Harry. "Let's get out of here."

"I hear them too." Luna says.

Both kids look at the archway, the group missing a cloud of dust appearing behind them as (y/n) lands in front of them, wincing at the loud voices pounding in her head. 

Luna and Harry weren't the only ones who could hear the voices.

Hermione was trying to convince the two to leave, looking around for (y/n) hoping she was with them. "Get behind me!" Harry yells out, the group running behind him and (y/n) lets her powers shoot out to surround them in the protective dome again just when Death Eaters come to attack them. They look around with fear as darkness obscures their visions but they hear a scream and turn to see their Hufflepuff appear before them in a ripple of red. One of the Death Eaters grins as they keep their wand, casting the Cruciatus curse over and over until the girl fell to her knees. "(Y/N)!" Harry screams out, rushing out of the dome to help her but doesn't realise the shield had fallen. He swats away at the Death Eaters that fly around him, crouching down to protect the prophecy when they actually planned to take his friends away.

"Stop hurting her!" Ron yells out as he watched (y/n) cry out in pain, Harry quickly looking up to see all his friends taken hostage by a Death Eater.

"Did you actually believe... or were you truly naive enough to think... that children stood a chance against us?" Lucius hisses out, looking at (y/n) that Voldemort had wanted him about. "Or a witch with otherworldly powers!?" He snaps, picking her up by her hair as the Death Eater pauses his torture.

"DON'T TOUCH HER!" Harry yells out, his wand raised at Lucius who throws (y/n) away, her body falling to the floor as she watches him walk towards her friend.

"I'll make this simple for you, Potter. Give me the prophecy now... or watch your friends die." Harry visibly flinches as he hears (y/n) pained cries again, being struck down by the torturous curse and all her friends yell at Lucius to stop hurting her.

"Get him off her." Harry hisses, looking at the girl he loves curled in a ball and crying. "Then I'll give it to you..." Lucius nods to the Death Eater and he steps away, (y/n) wheezing for air as she blinks away the haze.

"Harry... don't..." she begs him in a pained voice but he shakes his head and gives his prophecy to Lucius. The main smiles and rases the glass, triumphant of doing the Lords bidding but furrows his brows when a flash of white light appears before him.

"Get away from my godson." Lucius quickly turns around only to be met with a fist to his face as Sirius punches him, him falling over the edge with the prophecy shattering on the ground. 

Sirus takes his Godson away to safety, more flashes of white rapidly flying around and knocking all the Death Eaters away from the children. One by one, the Order of the Pheonix arrives, Nymphadora Tonks, Alastor Moody, Kingsley Shacklebolt and Remis Lupin.

"Hey, you're ok. It's ok." Tonks runs up to (y/n), kneeling down before the girl as she trembled violently against the ground from the aftershocks. "Easy..." the older woman helps the younger one up, casting a spell to knock the Death Eater unconscious but furrows her brows at the chips and splinters running across her skin like fissures on a broken statue. "Take it easy." she stops the younger girl from getting up and joining the fight, keeping her still until she was ok.

Sirius nods to Tonks who was looking after (y/n), protecting his godson as he blasted away at a Death Eater attacking them. He quickly takes Harry to hide behind an arch, watching Tonks take the kids away to safety.

"Now, listen to me. Take the others and get out of here."

"What? No, I'm staying with you."

"You've done beautifully. Now, let me take it from here."

"Black!" Lucius sneers, him and another Death Eater attacking Harry and Sirius while the kids all hide behind large rocks away from the fight. It came to a slow stop as the Order of the Pheonix was winning, Sirius blasting Lucius one final time.

"(y/n) stop-what are you doing!?" Hermione tries to stop her, the Hufflepuff nodding to the other three before she jumps out. Ron and Hermione cover Ginny, Luna and Neville's eyes when their friend saves Harry one last time.

"NO!" she screams out, standing in between Bellatrix and Harry and Sirius before the Death Eater casts her spell.

"Avada Kedavra!" A giant wall of red sprouts up from the ground, shaking everyone and everything around it as the spell hits the shield and no one else. "You little bitch!" Bellatrix screams at (y/n) who sneers back at her, panting heavily from the pain as her body started glowing. Bellatrix screams in annoyance, casting spell over and over again but it just hits the wall with loud sparks. (y/n) hisses and gets pushed back from each hit, stumbling to her knees as the wall starts to break and crumble. "AVADA KEDAVRA!" Bellatrix screams, the final spell shattering the wall and the girl flies back from the explosion. The kids all look up when they hear Harry scream, being held back by his godfather as Bellatrix runs away. His screams shake the ground, looking at (y/n) who didn't move and he runs after the witch that hurt her.

"(y/n)? Not again... please not again!" Hermione cries out as she runs towards her, skidding to her knees and gently shaking her friend. "Please, please wake up." she holds her friend's head gently, rocking her as she cried.

"What happened? How did she stop Bellatrix?" Neville, Ginny and Luna were all perplexed but frowned seeing how the poor girl was not moving in Hermione's arms. 

"(y/n)...?" Ron fell to his knees, trying to wake the girl up as he cried. 

"I don't hear a heartbeat!" Hermione wails out. She couldn't handle her friend dying again, she couldn't lose her again. 

Sirius walks up to the kids, Tonks and Alastor carefully taking away Hermione and Ron as the others lead the rest of the kids away. They struggled against the adults but were forced to leave, Sirus alone with the poor girl that saved him. He raises her head on his lap, inspecting the broken red cracks on her skin and waited for a sign. 

"Come on kid..." he whispers, pushing her sleeve up to see how badly her arms had splintered. "Don't leave your friends like this..." he suddenly lets out a breath he didn't know he was holding, watching the cracks start to seal up again until a loud gasp breaks out from the girl.

"Draco!" she heaves, her heart pounding with worry and fear of leaving him behind. He made her promise to him that she wouldn't leave him, promised him that she would be by his side. Sirius ignores the name, relieved that his godson's friend was alive. "Wait, how am I alive?" she mutters out, remembering the death spell being cast and she pats her chest expecting a hole in her but her pj's were unscathed.

"It hit the wall that you used to protect us, not you. And I also thank you for that, for saving my life." Sirius smiles warmly at (y/n), holding her shoulders as she just blinks around at the sudden silence.

"It's over?"

"It's over, yes." Sirius helps (y/n) up on her feet but she hisses in pain and he simply picks her up in his arm, walking out to the grand entrance where everyone was including the ministry. Voldermort sneers at the Fudge before he leaves, the latter man gaping and now completely convinced the Dark Lord was back after seeing him.

"(y/n)!" Harry gasps as he sees her awake, rushing over to hug her when his godfather holds her up on her feet.

"You're ok!" Hermione and Ron scream out, rushing over to join the hug.

"Merlin she's ok!" Neville, Luna and Ginny exclaim in happiness, running over to join the dogpile as the kids fall over on the floor.

"Guys, I can't breathe here..." (y/n) wheezes out, a smile on her face as her friends all hugged her tight.

"Well stop dying on us then!" the golden trio argues back.
