I just came home from a run in the rain
The dopamine still running wild in my brain
Everything's possible, everything's great
The whole world is open, the people await

And suddenly something that's lurking behind
Jumps out of the shadows and into my mind
It sets itself up and it never will leave
It came to destroy and it stays to deceive

And now I'm possessed
By someone I knew
A long time ago

And now I'm depressed
I'm me all again
But that's natural though
