There's a voice of screaming silence
Deep inside my restless mind
Tells a tale of fear and violence
By it everything's maligned

Listening though makes me violent

Disregard that screaming silence
Though it's hard - please try your best
For it preaches fear and violence
It's our flaw, our course, our pest

We can't kill what screams so silent
Can't wipe out what's in our heads
Don't be vicious, don't be violent
Kill the threats, erase the dreads

You can't hear a screaming silence
Yet you have to fear its speech
Humans reap the fear and violence
Humans sow what voices preach
