Natsu frowned. "Dad, we are moving, but our lives are here. My friends, school, the team..." Natsu protested. Son, we are moving, and that is final. You will find new friends at your new school," Igneel stated. Gajeel and Adrien took turns giving Natsu hugs and then went back to their homes.  Neither of them knew there was more to it than each of them thought.

       Adrien entered the house without a word. "Adrien," His father called out. "Yes, father?" Adrien asked. He was surprised his father had said a word to him. His father rarely ever did since his mother had gone missing.  "I have some business dealings in Paris, France that I need to take care of, it will take about six years."  "Six years, you don't mean?" Adrien asked. "I mean it, pack your bags, we are moving to Paris, France." His father, Gabriel replied. Adrien did not respond, he went to his room to pack his bags. He texted Natsu, "Guess what? Father says we are moving to Paris too."

     Natsu was packing when he saw Adrien's text and smiled. At least one of his friends would be at the new school with him, so perhaps moving would not be so bad after all. Besides, maybe he could meet up with Lucy in person. Awe, Lucy.

       Gajeel arrived home dismayed that Natsu was moving away. At least Adrien was staying. He got a text from Adrien. He almost dropped his phone in surprise. What? Adrien was moving as well. Who would he get to play goalie on the soccer team next year? 

       "Gajeel," His father remarked. "Father, what is it?  My friends are both moving away soon." Gajeel said.  "Son, that is too bad. Anyway, I know it may seem like awful timing, but I have accepted a new position that requires me to be in France. I figured it would be cheaper than commuting if we moved," His father announced. Gajeel ran to his room to pack right away. He was so excited he could not stand it. Yes, he was to be reunited with his friends. Oh, and Levy lived there too. Wow, he could not wait to see her in person. 

      He wondered if she was as beautiful up close as she was in her pictures.

       Adrien hoped Marinette would not be upset when she saw him in person. He was uncertain if she would be that thrilled about his being so close. What if she preferred they remained long-distance friends? He sighed. Well, no matter what his buddies, Natsu and Gajeel would be there to support him. He was sure because Gajeel texted him as he finished packing. He said a quick prayer, "Please, let Marinette be glad to be my friend. Amen." He hoped she would want to be his girlfriend though.

    Back to the girls...

     Marinette and Lucy smiled. Levy was upset. She did not understand why they should keep such a big secret from her. She was sure they had one, they were behaving oddly when she entered the room. "Did Gajeel say he did not want to speak to me anymore?" Levy blurted out. She had tears in her eyes. "Don't worry, Levy, he said no such thing," Lucy said. Marinette nodded. "Then, why were you speaking among yourselves only to stop when I arrived?" Levy ran out the door with Lucy calling after her, "Levy wait!"

        Levy went home in tears. She thought the worst. She tended to read into things that were not there. She was so hurt. How could Gajeel break off their friendship without telling her? How cruel it was for Lucy and Marinette to find out, and keep it from her.

         Lucy sighed. "Marinette, I better go find Levy. She can't keep thinking Gajeel hates her," Lucy said. "I know, but what about what Gajeel's father said, how it was to be a secret from her?" Marinette asked. "I know, but I have to assure her Gajeel still cares somehow," Lucy stated. Lucy left.

          Marinette stayed put since she was already at her home.  She hoped Lucy could find some way to console Levy. She felt bad that she and Lucy had agreed to keep such a thing from Levy after speaking to Gajeel's father. It was far too cruel. No wonder, Levy was in tears the poor dear.
