Porsche's P.O.V:

I was still at the Hua Hin summer house with Kinn.

Kim and Porchay went to the city a week ahead of us since Vegas insisted that a member of the main family was required to tend to the work.

Kim said that we needed more vacation so he decided to go instead of Kinn.

But it'll be just a week since we already took too much time here.

I went to find Kinn and Neri.

Unlike most children her age Neri was quite calm and so obedient.

I suppose she was badly abused.

Kinn was in his room with Neri sitting next to him on the bed laughing at his horrible singing voice.

"If she had to hear that growing up I assure you that she'll die laughing before she turns ten" I said.

Kinn glared at me.

"I made her some food" I said then sat down in front of her.

She made grabby hands at me so I chuckled and shook my head then raised the spoon to her lips.

She started eating.

"I wonder how we're going to get her out of her shell" Kinn said sighing.

It was really uncomfortable to see a child her age so closed off.

"I have an idea" I said smiling.

Kinn nodded to show that he was listening.

"Sand castles" I said.

Kinn chuckled and shook his head.

"Ok...That sounds nice" He said smiling.

I continued feeding Neri until her plate was over then picked her up.

She was trained to eat on her own but I wanted to spoil her.

When we found her she was wearing some old rags so now we had to buy her something better.

After sometime we were at the beach.

"Come on...Today I'll teach you how to make a sand castle" I said smiling.

Then sat her down on my lap and started building one for her.

She patted it with her hand causing it to crumble.

I chuckled and shook my head.

"Well...I suppose you can do that too" I said smiling.

She started patting the sand with her hands and laughing.

"I think she wants you to build another one" Kinn said.

I took her hands and moved them on the sand to help her build another one.

Kinn disappeared for a bit.

"Hey...Come with me I found something good" He said smiling brightly.

I frowned in confusion but picked Neri up and started walking after him.

She made grabby hands at the castle we just built but didn't cry.

I made a mental note to look for more information on how to deal with abused babies.

Maybe we should take her to a specialist too I think she's developing CIPA because she didn't cry even when she tripped and fell.

It wasn't that big of a height but she should have cried right?

I sighed heavily and patted her head.

Kinn stopped walking when we reached a sand castle building contest for families.

"I brought my family I'd like to join" Kinn said smiling at the judges.

They were three judges and one of them looked at us in obvious disgust so I pursed my lips into a thin line.

Most of the families here were regular couples with children so I'm sure you can get the picture.

"Kinn...Maybe that's not a good idea" I said.

"Oh come on...It's fun" He insisted as he tightened his hold on my hand in encouragement.

The opposing judge opened his mouth to say something but the judge girl smiled at us.

She was wearing a white crop top a sunflower print jacket and frayed grey denim shorts and her long black hair was let down.

"Of course you're free to join" She said smiling.

She looked in her early twenties so I guessed that this contest was held by a group of college students or something.

I saw a box that had money on the judging table with the decoration accessories for the sand castles like thin ropes and shells and some dried starfish.

There was also some cold drinks.

Yeah it definitely sounds like a charity game for adults.

Those students are definitely creative.

The couples around us all looked to be thirty something we were the only college students here so I can guess their animosity.

"Namphang...What are you saying?" The opposing judge asked exasperated.

"I'm saying that they also have a right to join...What? You have a problem with that? If you do then I'd like you to discuss it with the police because I'll be reporting your sorry ass if you don't stop being such an oppressor got that?" The girl said with authority.

I raised an eyebrow in amusement at the name and hid my smile.

"You can register over there...Cute girl by the way" She said smiling.

Then patted Neri's head.

Neri chuckled at her.

Me and Kinn went to register.

"Alright...For this rudeness we have to win for sure ok?" Kinn said determined.

I chuckled and shook my head.

Then we sat down on the spot we were assigned.

"I'll build it you can go look for something so we can decorate it with" I said.

Kinn nodded and went to look around.

I started working on it as Neri poked it with her fingers in imitation of what I taught her earlier.

I was done so I started admiring our hand work.

After some time Kinn came back with some shells starfish and seaweeds and thin ropes.

"Wow...You're an expert" Kinn said chuckling.

"Not really it was just the spur of the moment" I said shrugging.

He sat down next to me and I told him how to decorate it.

After some time the time was up and the judges started checking.

They finally came to our spot.

"I'd give it a seven out of ten nice work" The nice judge said smiling at us.

It was fair enough since there were ones better then ours while others looked worse.

"Four out of ten" The annoying judge slash mother fucker said.

I was itching to punch him in the face.

"I agree with Namphang it's a seven out of ten" The third judge said.

Then patted our shoulders.

"Nice work" He said chuckling.

We ended up in the second place and won a beach ball.

We were about to leave when we heard a voice asking us to stop.

Then the girl ran over to us.

"There's still more to the present" She said as soon as she was done catching her breath.

Then she handed us matching couple bracelets before patting Neri's head again.

"She's so cute what's her name?" Namphang asked.

"Neri Nerida Theerapanyakul" Kinn said smiling.

"Ummm...Thank you for defending us earlier" I said.

"Oh...It's nothing Pong is an asshole in general" She said.

"Is he your boyfriend?" I asked frowning in confusion.

"Him? No of course not he just got picked as a judge because his father funds our faculty" She said.

Then turned to Neri again and shook her hand.

"It was nice to meet you Neri" She said smiling.

Then turned to us again.

"You guys are cute together" She said smiling at us.

Kinn chuckled and shook his head.

We took a picture with her then she went to her friends.

"She looks just like my mother when she was her age" I said chuckling.

"What the...Really?" Kinn asked.

I nodded.

"Wow...Re incarnation is real after all huh?" Kinn said chuckling.

Then slung an arm over my shoulder.

"I'd like to think of it as your mother blessing our relationship...I mean...Imagine the irony" He said chuckling.

I smiled and nodded.

"Well...We won" I said.

He nodded.

"Do you want to play?" I asked.

Then put Neri down on the sand and we started throwing the ball at each other tossing it lightly so Neri won't get hurt.

She laughed heartily whenever she managed to catch the ball and ran to one of us to return the ball and in return we gave her hugs.

"Picture time" I said.

Kinn picked Neri up and we smiled as I raised the camera up and snapped a picture.

The doctor told us that she lost recollection of her two years of life so we decided to make more happy memories for her.

She still didn't talk though which is part of the reason why she needs another check up.

Oh well...She's responding to us pretty well so I'm sure she'll recover soon.

The three of us sat down by the beach and looked at the water.

She made grabby hands at the water.

"You're too young to swim but when you get older I'll teach you myself ok?" I asked smiling.

She seemed to get what I meant because she turned away from the water and grabbed my hand instead.

Kinn went to get some ice cream and came back after some time then sat down next to me.

"Here" He said.

I nodded and thanked him then we started eating the ice cream in comfortable silence.

Neri fell asleep so Kinn picked her up and we started walking back to the house.

She'll grow up nicely for sure.
