I also just remembered the Mackinaw Island incident
So
I once was almost ran over by a horse and carriage
Yes, like a real horse and carriage, except the carriage was slightly more modern to be usable for tours and shit.
Anyways I was biking around Mackinaw Island, like every year we would do as some sort of tradition I think or something idk what, and I came to a collision crossroads of sorts.
I could 1, choose to crash into another kid on his bike with mine and avoid dying by horse vehicle and traumatize everyone and myself.
Or I could pick option 2, choose to crash into a horse and vehicle thingy and die a really stupid death, successfully traumatizing the entire island for what would probably be at least a couple months, let alone my family and the poor kid who would've witnessed my death by horse trampling. (I mean I also would've died but that's beside the point)
So anyways
There wasn't really a choice and I knew the right option.
I crashed into the kid and narrowly missed getting trampled underneath a horse. In the process basically hindering my arm (can't remember which one it was this was years ago lol) near useless for almost over a month, and scraping up my knees and my back was incredibly sore for the rest of the stay. I was boat-ridden (we were staying on my nana and grandpas boat, [no not a yacht or whatever fancy shit it was a small but somewhat livable {at least for a while} boat that they basically bought when it was a fixer upper when they were like, idk younger than 70s or something. Also it was sold after the boat was unknowingly dumping gasoline or fluids that were illegal to be dumped into the Great Lakes, and my grandpa was really ticked that we hadn't been told sooner. At the end it was breaking a ton of regulations before he was made aware and he was sad but also relieved to be rid of it] I was left on the boat in the cabins for the rest of the time being miserable in pain.) The kid I had crashed into on the other hand, was only a bit scratched on the knees, but was being extremely overdramatic and crying a bit more than necessary considering I was left in worse shape and had almost died, but also I wasn't really saying that because I was in shock so when people reached us and my mom asked if I was hurt I dazedly said I was okay. So smart job me, really good at taking care of yourself. The kid was okay, probably got ice cream for the whole ordeal, and maybe was now left afraid of bicycles but eh he'll be fine.
Probably.
So that was great. My story of almost dying from a horse.
Yayyyyyyyy
