「kunhang x dejun」

FLEETING ROMANCE

semi-mature

top!kunhang
bottom!dejun

[in which two boys staying with their respective families in beach houses find each other addictive, and ignore the impending departure that would come eventually]

dejun inhaled a soft breath of salty, ocean air. he was sitting on the beach in his typical shorts and t-shirt, gifted light from the moon over the beige granules of sand. every hour of this holiday had felt surreal and precious, and there were many reasons for that...some more obvious than others.

his eyes flitted from one wave to another, catching the syncopated crashes as they dropped and curling his toes in every time the water lapped over them. he rested his chin on his knees as they were pulled to his chest, and nothing could've ruined this moment.

lately, he found his thoughts occupied by the same thing every time he had a free moment. to tell the truth, he'd fallen for one of his neighbours around here - just another tourist here with his family to enjoy the ceaseless sun. when dejun had arrived not even two weeks ago, he'd been met with a massive barbecue on the beach, packed with all the residents of the various beach houses lining the coast.

the kind people had invited his family over, and there had to have been about six families altogether, excluding his own.

that was where he met wong kunhang - the most beautiful man he'd ever seen. he was like a dream that had been personified, and his personality was equally as wonderful as his visuals. kunhang looked like an island prince...and dejun adored it.

"oh, you're my age," the boy had said that day, a gorgeous smile reaching his cheeks. "i'm kunhang, let's get to know each other."

he was forward, polite, generous, kind. everything the older desired in a person. it was like a higher being above was granting him this paradise for a month before his boring, mundane life would return again.

so as he elicited a long, drawn out sigh...his chest tightened when he imagined the torture returning to normal would be. but for now, he still had a little over two more weeks...and he'd make the most of them. so far, they'd played beach volleyball together, gone into town to shop for a little, attended a wild party, secretly snuck out more times than they could count...and in general just bathed in one another's company.

the moon seemed to smile down at him from her apex in the sky, not needing to travel any further to reach where she needed to be. the tangerine tones of the abyss-like sky had melted into navy and indigo, having slowly dulled to black long ago.

his daze then fell to the water once more, and he could faintly hear the sound of footsteps crunching down on the stone particulars, getting nearer and nearer until two hands landed gently over his shoulders and squeezed gently. dejun closed his eyes trustfully, leaning back into the touch since he knew who it was.

"hi lovely," the younger whispered, sliding his hands along the other's forearms and back up to rest near his neck. "it's almost three in the morning. i saw you from my window..."

"oh, i'm just not sleepy. and my room is too hot at night to sleep..."

"too hot, hm?" kunhang whispered, kneeling down behind him to match his level and resting his chin against the boy's shoulder. "i like that thought."

"psh, of course you do," the older giggled. the feeling of the raven-haired male's warm breath tickling the back of his neck had his senses tingling. he wanted to keep his eyes on the water, to stay strong and not give in. really, he didn't want to be left in floods of tears when this paradise would end. "and you, sir?" he played, "why is it you're up at this hour? surely not due to the temperature like me."

"would you hit me if i said i couldn't get you off my mind?" he snickered, kissing the older's neck softly and bringing his delicate fingers down to rest on the brunette's waist. dejun lowered his legs so that his calves were emerged in the ocean's aqua as well. the cold spike against his skin was exhilarating when he'd been feeling pretty lethargic all night.

"you are a master at charming," he murmured, though tilted his head to the side when the younger continued to press his mouth against his neck, sometimes getting teasingly close to his jaw, just to lower again. he hated how easy it was for kunhang to draw reactions from him this way.

"i know what you're thinking," the dark-haired boy whispered against the splash of water that sounded in the air.

"oh? and what am i thinking?" dejun arched his brow playfully, bringing his hand up to lace through the other's black hair and releasing pleased sounds every time his weak point in his neck was reached.

"about the end of the holidays," the younger guessed right. "about how you don't want to leave."

"i see," the male breathed heavily, throwing his head back when kunhang managed to start sucking a mark near his collarbone, engulfing the older chinese teen in his hold. "y-you're not wrong."

"of course not. because we think the same things, love."

"what am i supposed to do when you aren't around?" dejun complained lightly, not at all putting up resistance when the boy started dragging his hands up under his top to massage his hidden body. "i don't want to go back to school and forget this all happened."

all the memories they'd already made, as well as the the memories they'd soon create had been and will be amazing. he'd even experienced his 'first time' with this person, and now he wasn't sure where he'd be without him. was it so much to ask to be encased in this time bubble forever? to live everyday here for the rest of his existence - to stay young and with him forever?

"don't think about those things," kunhang insisted softly, standing up against the breeze the lapping water created and walking around the other to step into the water. his hair was whipped around unceremoniously, yet it made him appear even more ethereal...even more precious. "come with me."

"where?"

"just out here," he chuckled, reaching down and taking dejun's cautiously outstretched hand. he helped him up to his feet, the older stumbling forward into his chest. "i've always wanted to see what it was like for those couples in the movies."

"what? out in the water?" the brunette giggled at the sentiment of it. he followed him nonetheless, inching further and further into the ocean until their clothes were drenched and they were waist deep.

dejun hadn't the time to even form a sentence when the guy he admired so graciously started peeling off his layers. appearing totally unbothered by it, the younger balled up his shirt and tossed it back in the general direction of the beach - it missing the target, but it'd find its way over with the oncoming waves.

"you're crazy," the older scoffed, taking his own shirt off all the same and trying not to adopt a scarlet colour when kunhang proceeded to start getting rid of his trousers. he was always like that though - free spirited and unbothered. "we'll catch colds in this water."

"i'll nurse you back to health then, lovely," the ravenette winked at him and threw the last of his clothes like he had before. "i never get sick, so i'll look after you. it's a talent, really."

"if i get sick though, we can't do everything we like to do together," the brunette continued to battle, though he meant nothing by it. he was simply playing the 'annoying card' as he loved how the younger reacted to it. by now he'd repeated the other's processs easily, and both were only wearing the moon's faultless light along with the navy h2o.

"come here to me," kunhang murmured softly, opening his arms for dejun to melt into, and so he did. the shorter wrapped his arms around the boy's neck and leaned up for some kisses. their lips were made for each other, and there was never an ounce of doubt shared between the pair. the brunette breathed gently through his nose as the taller skilfully invaded his mouth, his intrusive yet addictive tongue exploring the areas it had seen before, just to ignite the fire in the male he always lit up.

dejun elicited a whimper when he felt two hands sail to his hips, thumbs rubbing soothing circles into his sensitive skin. his shoulders quivered against the air and the breeze billowing through...but he didn't mind at all.

"ngh," the older sighed out, eyes fluttering shut as kunhang wandered around him, lips permanently against his cheeks, his neck, his shoulders until he was behind the chocolate-haired teen. his hands slid down lower and lower, tickling along his honey-tinted thighs where the sun had kissed him unconditionally. he loved dejun's scent, his characteristics, and everything that happened inside. he was an angel, there was no denying.

"don't ever change for anyone, okay?" the younger insisted quietly, dropping a little to lick along the perfect male's shoulder blade and making him shiver pleasantly. "i like the wild things about you, as well as all your reservations. you shouldn't hide them away for a single soul."

"not everyone sees me the way you do, kunhang," dejun whined airily as teeth grazed the small of his back, followed by soft kisses and licks to send waves of heat around his abdomen. "and you, love. you're so special...no one deserves you."

"i say the same about you," he chuckled with a brilliant smile. "how did i ever end up staying on the same beach as a gift from the gods, hm? how will i ever find another as perfect as you?"

"i..." the older tried to speak, but the sounds he desired to formulate words with weren't operating to his brain's standards, and they all fell out in messy mixtures of whimpers and moans. "i love you. i really d-do..."

"mhm, and i love you more," kunhang challenged as he returned to his correct height and kissed along the other's ear. "i could look at you all day and night and never get bored of the view. i could listen to your rants and your stories forever and never zone out. the sound of your voice and the words you speak are so important, baby."

"i'd stand in the water here, under that same moon with you minute after minute and hour after hour if it meant we'd never be told to leave. why couldn't i have met you at school, hm? why somewhere so fleeting?"

the ravenette had all the same wishes, and could've created poetry out of his feelings all night...but nothing remotely similar would extend this holiday to forever. nothing changed the fact that china was huge and they'd never get to see each other again unless they graduated and searched. but what would they be then? would things change?

dejun turned very slowly to face his love and looked at him in the eyes, to be serious when they never really were. "these next two weeks will be amazing, okay? w-we're going to do everything together, and nothing will stop us...alright?"

"of course," the dark-haired boy agreed, picking the teenager up in his arms and giggling when he wrapped his legs around his waist and wound his arms around his neck once again. "i love you. so much...dejun."

"i wish i could hear that everyday," the brunette murmured, reconnecting their lips once again just to taste the taller. he'd never grow sick of this, nor would he ever reject it. it was simply too bad that their paths had crossed in the worst way possible...

or perhaps the best.

if fate meant for them to be together, than surely they'd meet again. nothing could twist the arms of time behind its back, and it knew what was in store for these boys.

hopefully wonderful things.
