We had been together for a year before everything started falling out of place. We were so happy with each other, I wish it could go on. Even all his fans, the NCTzens were so supportive when the news of Jaemin dating me came out but then everything just changed in one go.

I still remember... Jaemin called me at 8 pm. He sounded 'not in the mood' and asked me to meet up with him. I got so worried that I went over to their dorm as soon as possible.

When I walk in the living room, I see Jaemin gravely sitting on the couch.

"Nana what's wrong?" I ask him worried.

He looks up at me and doesn't say anything for a good minute and then gulps. "We should break up."

When those words left his lips, my heart ached so bad. As if it had come to a halt as his words sink in me. "B-Break up?" I ask again as if he'll correct me saying anything but that.

"Yes Y/N... We should break up now." he says as he looks away.
"Jaemin did I do something wrong? You can tell me! I'll fix it! Did something happen?" I was on the verge of tears. I looked so vulnerable that I hated it.

He looks at me with a grief stricken look and stands up before coldly facing his back at me. "Goodbye Y/N. Don't ever try to contact me again."

That was it. That is how we broke up. Not like I did not try to contact him after that. I called him a hundred times but he never picked it up. I texted him a million things but he didn't reply to even one. So gradually I stopped. I thought that I'll gradually move on but I was wrong. Every night, when I'm trying to sleep, his image, our moments flood in my mind filling me with pain as I cry to sleep. Pathetic right?

I was drowned in my own thoughts when I hear my phone ringing. It was Jeno.

"Hello?" I say.

"Y/N can you please come over!?" he was pleading.

"Why what happened?" I ask as I get up from my bed.

"It's Jaemin..." as soon as he says that the colour of my face flushed out.

"W-What about him?" I ask worried. Damn.

"He's wasted Y/N! He's crying and regretting for lying to you..." Jeno says hurriedly.

He lied to me? "Y/N you still there?" Jeno enquires as I say "Yes."

"Are you coming? Please Y/N! He needs you!"

I snap out of my thoughts as I hurriedly get up. It was no time to think. No matter what, ultimately I loved him.

Jeno drove me to their dorm as I rushed inside. Jaemin's door was locked and Renjun, Chenle and Jisung were continuously banging on it.

"Jaemin! Open the door!" cried Renjun.

"Hyung come on!" Jisung meddled in.

I sewed past them as they all looked at me with surprise. I softly knock on the door. "Jaemin?" I spoke softly.

Until now he was howling once in a while, "Go away!" or "Leave me alone!" but this time there was pin drop silence for a couple minutes. I knocked again. "It's me Y/N..."

I sigh as I think he still won't open the door but then he does. I felt happiness and guilt rush inside my heart. Happiness to see Jaemin once again and guilt because of his state of condition... Did I do that to him?

His soft brown hair was messy and his eyes were red and tired because of crying. His cheeks had tear stains and his lips were reddish pink because of crying. He softly whispered some choked words, "What are you doing here?" he asked.

"Can we talk? Please?" I said with begging eyes. He let me in and then closed the door behind me again.

He wasn't speaking a word so I decided to cut the silence. "Why were you crying?"

He looked away. "None of your concern." he whispers.

"Why are you a mess? Why is Jeno saying that you lied to me!?" I asked impatiently with tears in my eyes. He looked at me with an unreadable look and processed what to say for a moment. He mumbled something which was barely audible. "What?" I ask loudly. Yes, I am a bit impatient so I can't stand someone beating around the bush for a long time.

"It was the agency..." he slowly spoke but did not dare look at me in the eyes.

"What are you talking about?" Don't tell me it's what I think.

"They wanted me to break up with you because they thought I was getting distracted and I am too young for a relationship." he said. "I did not want to feel so unimportant and bad so I lied..."

I laugh sarcastically. "Are they mad?" I say. My heart stung and my eyes had fresh tears. Tears of joy that Jaemin still loved me. I pulled him within a second by his collar and pull him down to my level as I kiss him, sweetly on his lips. For a moment he hesitated but then he kissed back. It was loving and passionate. It was a caring kiss. After we parted we heard a knock on the door.
"Y/N? Jaemin? Can y'all come out please?" it was Jeno.

"The manager is here Jaemin." said Renjun.

We looked at each other in alarm as he opens the door. The manager was standing there. When he saw Jaemin he spoke up, "I guess you both have patched up?"

"Er–" "Uh..." we both stuttered not knowing what to say.

He sighed. "Anyway I just wanted to say that since your performance has been reckless since you broke up with Y/N, you guys should just get back together. You worked better that way." he said and after giving us a last 'look' he went away.

We all stayed silent for a while then suddenly all of us started laughing sheepishly.

"So all's well that ends well." commented Jisung.

"Soooo I have that much effect on you huh Jaemin?" I teased Nana.

He blushed bright red and gave me a bear hug as snuggled into the crook of my neck. "I love you Y/N." he said, his breath on my skin.

I hugged him back and smiled. "Love you too Nana... And don't ever do something so stupid ever again!" I say.

He giggled. "Yes darling." and then kissed my cheek.

Yep. Seriously... All's well that ends well.
